This review is for the Garner location. I will never do business with this company again and I will not recommend it. I have documented my experience below. I called on Sunday 4/14 at 2:30 pm to inquire about getting my phone repaired. I was told I could drop off the phone and pick it up Monday 4/15 for a 24 hour repair. The store associate confirmed he had the phone part so I dropped of my phone that afternoon at 3:30pm. Monday at 5:30 I stopped by to pick up my phone and the store associate said they were waiting on a part, and it wasn't ready but would be ready Tuesday early afternoon. I called Tuesday (before driving out there) at 11:00 am and was told the shipment still hadn't arrived but it would in the next hour and my phone would be ready to pick up that evening before close. I drove by that evening around 6:30 pm and I was told "im sorry ma'am but your phone isn't ready" - they had not started. The store associate said it would now be ready "Wednesday morning when we open". I asked for a specific time, and I was told 10 or 10:30. Wednesday morning 4/17 I called at 10:30am and asked for the status. I was told "in the next 30 to 1 hour". At 11:30 I drove to pick up my phone and the associate said "im sorry ma'am but your phone isn't ready. It will be another hour." At this point, I asked for my phone back and I told the man I would take it somewhere else. He said he couldn't do that because he already started the repair. I said, I don't care - give me the pieces and ill take it somewhere else. He said no. I told him I refused to pay, and he said then "you won't get your phone then". At this point I decided to wait in the store until he finished. I waited for about 50 minutes until my phone was done. I was offered no accommodation or discount. I will never ever do business with you again and I will never recommend it to anyone else. read more

I went here for a battery replacement for my phone. The were covid-careful and were able to get the battery for my (older) phone in a couple of days. The whole process was quick, painless, and the cost was reasonable. Doing this can save you hundreds you would shell out for a new phone. This is a great place to have minor repairs or a batter fix done. read more

This company stole my factory 12mini screen and replaced it with an aftermarket without my consent. Not only am I familiar enough with my phone to know the difference , but I took it to the Genius Bar to confirm. when confronted, the employee who worked on my phone denied it, and the owner was not helpful. We've sent an email and left a review on Facebook. Next stop is BBB. This is theft, plain and simple. If the business owners do right and rectify this problem I will update my review, but til then, steer way clear of this dishonest, thieving, business. I brought in my 27" Gigabyte gaming monitor in to be fixed exactly one week ago today and I gave them $270 to get it done as fast as possible - they said that they had to get the screen (read: replacement screen) from China. I check in on Wed when the job was supposed to be finished and the representative wasn't there, but his technician was there and he put the representative on the phone so we could talk. He said come by tomorrow. That was after he said that he was at lunch and he would be there to speak to me in thirty minutes. I gave him close to an hour before I came back and he wasn't there. He didn't even mention the fact that he wasn't there. That was yesterday. I get there and the representative is nowhere to be found in person. His tech guy puts him on the phone and he says that they got the screen and they put it in only to find out that it was the wrong screen. Now he's looking at another monitor entirely and suddenly the number of $300 is floating around in the air for some reason. I explain to him that I paid extra for all of this to be done - I give you money and you provide goods and services, and so far you've not provided anything at all. You've not even been in the building to explain yourself. He says to come back on Wed and he will have bought the monitor, which I didn't ask him to do of course. I just needed a screen replacement. These people use the same tactics that shifty car mechanics use to get you to pay as much as they think they can get away with. If you're a college student I would advise you to stay well away from this place. At best you would be dealing with substandard service across the board and at worst it's a predatory scam. So far there is no professionalism, no quality, no value and very little in the way of a response. I'm already talking to legal council on this and considering the small claims court option. Their screen protectors mess up your phone and now my phone won't even turn back on. 2 weeks after having them replace my screen, the screen literally started coming out of the phone with the screen protector. Never again! I brought a cracked screen with fully functioning phone in & walked out w/ a fixed screen but very overheated phone. Strike #1 Could have destroyed my battery if I didn't notice right away. Plus Ahmed reconfigured the phone placing the home button in a different area on the screen? Probably why it was overheating as it wasn't functioning the way it was intended to function. Never even discussed prior w/ me either. Strike#2 Anyway I called saying I was going to bring the phone back after 5pm that day and then their was a sign on the door stating "I will be back in 15 minutes" I waited 45 minutes and no-one came back and when I tried calling the store the phone rang out and I was unable to leave a message. Strike#3 So the next day I brought phone back cause he couldn't fix it and just asked him to put the cracked screen back on the phone as I brought it in to him. He had the phone over a week and within that week, I kept calling and a lady answered several times and stated she would have him call me back but he NEVER did! What kind of business is this! Strike#4 I decided to go into the store and see what in the world was going on with my phone. She knew actually who I was and handed me my phone back w/ the cracked screen that I had brought it in w/. But Carolina Cell Phone repairs REFUSED to give refund saying they don't make the part for my iPhone 7plus anymore. Strike#5 Which I was given so many excuses for why they cant fix it but then don't take my money and say you can! The lack of communication and incompetence of Carolina Cell phone repairs leaves me frustrated as I have wasted much of my time, energy and money and I have no resolve and it was at a LOSS. The agreed-upon time was 10 am and I was told it would take 10-15 minutes to repair my cracked screen (Iphone). The man there was trying to do it but he, I presume the owner, did not show up until after 11 am. What he told me was 10-15 minute repair turned into an hour and a half. It was done at 11:35.
