Dr Kulbersh called me after I posted my earlier review and said he wanted me to come back in to discuss things. During our phone conversation, I was somewhat led to believe that he indeed wanted to see what could be done to make me happy. I went back thinking that he'd want to do a revision if I were willing to pay for the anesthesia...which I would happily have done . He looked at my face and asked what part was I unhappy with. I told him the wrinkles on my cheeks..which was the main reason I had the surgery done. He told me they were laugh lines and that nothing could be done. I reiterated that this was the reason I had the surgery done in the first place! But I guess I was supposed to feel better when he told me before I left that he learned that he needed to listen to his clients more carefully. I guess I should be so happy that I was able to pay thousands of dollars for this lesson to be learned for future clients. Sadly, I had to pay the cost. ( and for those wanting to smooth out your wrinkles on your face....it CAN be done according to 2 other plastic surgeons I have had a consultations with seeking ANOTHER facelift after just paying for one not even a year ago!! I could and would not recommend him if you're want to see positive results. I wrote him after this last visit and told him how disappointed I was in how things were handled. I've waited a month before posting this new review to see if he would reach out after receiving my letter but as of to date, not a word. I had a good experience with Dr. Kulbresh and the staff at Carolina Facial Plastics. I was growing a nasty keloid after having a ear surgery. I was reassured at my consultation that they could remove it and keep it from growing back in the future. I was so pleased with the outcome and now don't have to feel insecure about pulling my hair up or back in fear of the keloid being seen by others. I continue to go for injections as needed and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future. My only issues are I feel that the consultation fee is pretty hefty should you not decide to go with them and at times the wait time can be long once in the exam rooms. Dr Kulbersh was amazing...I had a facelift about a month ago, as a male patient I'm extremely happy with his work, I did have extra bleeding and the Dr offered to see me daily and even over the weekend. He is very talented and conservative, he told me that "it shouldn't be obvious to the public that you've had a facelift" this was achieved in his work; subtle but took at least 5 years off my face in my opinion. My husband and I both took three hours off work to see Dr. Kulbersh for a consultation. After one hour and 10 minutes of wait time we left without seeing him. To make matters worse, my previous visit to see someone for injections at Dr. Kulbersh's office I waited for 30 minutes and they were still not ready to see me. I was never contacted to say she was running late. I too work by appointments and if I am running late I contact that client to let them know because I respect their time. This casual attitude about clients time is unprofessional and disrespectful. After scheduling a rhinoplasty consult with Dr. Kulbersh, I then cancelled it after learning of his $150 consultation fee. I had already done my homework about the procedure and met with two other local surgeons (who offered their time--about 1/2 an hour--for free). I hoped to also meet with Dr. K after reading his glowing reviews and make my decision about who to use. However, I don't need to pay $150 to determine whether he's the right person for the job and I certainly don't need to pay that for someone's "professional opinion" when it's really more of an interview on my part. Be forewarned of his pricey and unnecessary fee. It doesn't matter if it is later "applied to the surgery should I choose him"- what if I don't want him and choose another doctor? What if he doesn't really apply it anyway--who'd know? Plastic surgery is already expensive and not covered by insurance which is why the majority of qualified plastic surgeons provide a free consultation. Consider this before choosing a greedy doctor whose prices are also very high. There's many other good surgeons to use. read more

My experience with Dr. Kulbersh and the entire Carolina Facial Plastics team has been beyond exceptional. I have experienced numerous episodes of Bell's palsy and it left dramatic damage. The asymmetry alone was enough to break my heart every time I looked in the mirror. Add to that nerve damage/synkinesis, not pretty. I chose Dr. Kulbersh after a great deal of research and consultations for a lower blepharoplasty. I met with doctors in the Raleigh/Durham area and then selected Dr Kulberish in Charlotte which is over 2 hrs away. In the consult he asked what my goals were then he explained that just a lower blepharoplasty would not produce the results I desired. He suggested an upper and lower blepharoplasty and a brow lift. He was very clear in explaining what would change and what would not change. This showed me he cared to set a realistic expectation. He explained the procedure and recovery in detail. I had several questions leading up to the surgery, emailed his team and they promptly answered. The day of surgery Dr. Kulbersh was very comforting. The facility he used was amazing. The staff found out I was recovering in a hotel and gave my husband alcohol wipes and told him to wipe down the TV remote and all surfaces. The recovery was everything he told me it would be, after 4 days I was able to go in public and two weeks I was back running. The results of the procedure was above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for with a very natural look. I could not provide a higher recommendation for Dr. Kulbersh and his team. read more

My husband and I went to Dr. Kulbersh to see if he could treat a large scar on my husbands face. We paid the $75 consultation fee when we checked in and knew it could be applied to any service or product per their website. Dr. Kulbersh said we should visit a laser treatment doctor. Even though he advertises laser scar revision on his website. He said he could do microderm in a couple of months but did not offer the service even though they provide that service at his office. He suggested a product called biocorium (sp?). I asked several questions about the product. He walked us out of the office to the reception area without a treatment plan / did not suggest anything he or his office could do now or in the future / recommend purchasing the product at his office. He did not suggest, come back to see me in 3 months so we can see how the scar is healing. He gave me the biocorium product to look at as we were checking out (only because I asked) and then said to give it to the receptionist when we leave. At no time did he say we could buy the product. When he left, I asked the receptionist if we could use the consultation fee to buy the product which we did. As we walked out, I asked my husband, "was that a really weird experience or is it just me?" He agreed. We both felt like he simply did not want to help our situation. I will never go back to dr. K. He used to do a good job with my fillers and botox but last 2 times my fillers were uneven and my eyebrows were off. One dropped one raised. I guess it's like funding someone you love to do your hair. You brag so much about them they get so busy then they don't care enough to do the job like they did when they were hungry for more business. I will take my $2500 -3200 procedures elsewhere . I love to give good reviews . I love to get what I pay for. I wish this kind of thing didn't happen but it's a fact of life I've witnessed before. I had the nurse practitioner (I believe her name was Courtney?) inject 1mil of filler into my lips for the first time ever! I have been wanting to get my lips done forever, but I was always too nervous. She did an AMAZING job making me feel comfortable and confident. My lips swelled a lot yesterday, because I am sensitive, but I woke up this morning expecting bruising like I've heard other people who get fillers experience. I have nothing but a small red dot on my upper lip. The nurse was so gentle, and there is no bruising at all! My lips look natural, and just how I pictured in my head. I cannot wait to go back. Yelping because my friend is not have a Yelp account. Witnessed the most awful treatment by a visiting nurse. I accompanied someone for moral support . The nurse started out very friendly and accommodating. We started with tear trough filler which was done OK but didn't really make any big change. Minimal bruising and swelling however which is great. We tried showing her pictures of lips we liked, she then told us a different Instagram to check out which had a bunch of chai Normas fake looking lips. That should've been a clue to run outside the room. THEN... she did my friends lips literally four minutes, had no clue about the symmetry, and basically gave her duck lips using only a half syringe. She wanted to put product in the absolute wrong side. After about four minutes doing the lips and quite honestly not nearly enough pauses so that the patient could look in the mirror, she became suddenly abrupt and rushed us out of the room. It was the strangest most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. THIS IS NOT A HAIRCUT where you can take too much off, and it will just grow back. You are messing with someone's face. And a virgin filler free canvas not some real housewife. Whatever you do, I don't go to see their guest nurse. And I honestly haven't recommend staying away from here if you don't wanna look like a duck read more

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Kulbersh. I don't know how he could have so many excellent reviews. I know there is an agency that Doctors pay for to write 5-star reviews for them and I suspect this is the case. I had a chin implant inserted by him and I am still suffering 2 years later. It was placed in crooked; the implant was going through my gums and into my teeth and because of this I have extreme tightness and numbness which has affected my life forever. I think about this every day of my life when I speak, when I wake up, when doing any type of activity. When I contacted him about this and came in to see him, he just simply said that it was permanent and there was nothing he could do about it. He didn't offer to help in anyway! Also, when I asked if he could remove it, he was still going to charge for the removal! Unbelievable! Don't be fooled by the fact that he knows or has been "taught" by Dr. Nassif (Beverly Hills Doctor)...this doesn't make him a good doctor. He is new to this. He only has been practicing a mere 6 to 7 years. This is not someone you want working on your face. Even the scar he cut under my chin was close enough to almost be visible on my face. Please beware! Worst Dr every,I had set the apt and paid up front, we had gone to the office a few days before the apt we paid the remainder that was owed for the surgery. I husband had to call off work to be take care of my wife during the surgery, this appointment was already scheduled and confirmed with the office and my job as well. The hospital verified that the appointment was scheduled, asked medical related questions to pre pare for the surgery. Two days before the appoint Jonathan Kulbersh called and canceled the appointment for no reason. Did not provide me with a reason why the appointment was canceled. I had everything planned out for my wife with her recovery, scheduling my job around for her recovery. For a month and half we were going back and forth with wasting gas for appoints preparing for the surgery. And he waited last minute to cancel. This really devastated my wife and it definitely has inconvenienced her. read more
