I took it home (45 minute drive in a borrowed pick up) and proceeded to untack it and some of the cardboard box got damaged in the process. The heater and mantle are not damaged but the mantel looks nothing like cherry wood and does not match anything. I phoned to complain and the next day was advised that "that is our cherry finish" and it is not returnable. Numerous phone calls and emails with Buck Stove (the manufacturer) and Grills and Fireplaces followed over the course of some weeks. I then removed the heater which is only held into the mantel with some drywall screws, took measurements and photos and commissioned one to be built out of cherry by the company that made the original wall units in the room where the fire place is to go. I then packed the mantel up on the original pallet and carefully wrapped it with sheets of packing foam and cardboard and strapped it on to the pallet. This was returned to the store where I was told that it is not returnable because it is not in the original packaging. Does anyone want a Buck Stove cherry mantel that looks nothing like cherry cheap?

I even told them that tech support wanted them to call, but they ignored my request. Fast forward to now, and because I called Coastal Fuel, my tankless water heater works like a charm! They fixed all the things the other company did wrong, and they called tech support. Turns out it was a small piece that broke and easily changed out. Would I recommend this company? YES, YES, YES!! They won't give up but will see the project to a successful completion!!
