This place is a hidden gem. Wednesday nights they offer a Prime Rib special. Have been twice and both times so good you can't stop talking about it. I had my prime rib with rice and vegetables- delicious. My husband had the end cut with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. He couldn't stop talking about how everything was perfect. The second time I had the seafood jambalaya. The shrimp were so meaty I had to cut them in half to eat them- so yummy! Our severs were Kali the first time and John Paulino C the second time. Both are stellar servers. The second time we ate in the sunroom. Nice view but got a bit warm. Of course the heat index that day was 110. We recently dined here and overall had mixed feelings about the experience. The atmosphere and ambiance were truly great, definitely what you'd expect from a nice steak and seafood restaurant. It felt upscale and inviting, which made us excited for the meal. We started with calamari and drinks, and ordered the surf and turf, NY strip and ribeye for our main courses. Unfortunately, the shrimp on my dish were overcooked, which was disappointing given the price point. What stood out the most, though, was the service. Our server brought out a salad instead of the soup. No big deal, but when asking for the correct food, it seemed to take longer than necessary for an item that is pre made. Our server then referred to the soup of the day as "baby food," which felt unprofessional and off-putting. When you're dining somewhere like this and spending over $200 on a meal, you expect a certain level of respect and care, not commentary that makes fun of the food being served. Not everyone gets to enjoy places like this often, so when they do, it should feel special, not uncomfortable. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the restaurant itself has great potential, but the service experience really took away from it. read more

Upon arriving we were seated and given regular menus. Had to go to hostess station and request early bird menu. Since we were there within the parameters of "early bird offering" you would think they would have asked since it is a separate menu! I ordered crab cake sandwich which was very tasty however it needed more binding so it wouldn't fall apart but didn't regret the choice. My husband had the shrimp and grits which again had good flavor but he would have like more of the sauce with the dish. Overall we will give the restaurant another try and would recommend it for great choices! read more

Its so hard to find good restaurants when you are in an area that is so touristy because the reality is that many of these restaurants don't have to worry about customers returning but the food here was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT!!! We had to get another server to bring us our check. The atmosphere is alright but a lot of the staff just stands around and I found that to be rather annoying and rude. For a Sunday evening it was about a third full, the bar was full and they had a jazz ensemble play what I call lounge jazz which was delightful. We ordered two cocktails and the scallops as an appetizer. My drink was a blueberry lemon drop that was delicious, my husband ordered the mule and he was pleased. I ordered the Carolina grouper and my husband ordered the shrimp and grits. Both entrees were tasty and flavorful. The grouper was a lot of food and I couldn't finish it. Service was ok our server was busy with other tables. The meal with 2 drinks, an app and 2 entrees was over $100 but I expect that in a tourist destination. I would however come back to this restaurant as it was a unique experience and listening to jazz in the background made the meal that much better. read more

Had dinner there last night 8/15 had reservations for four. Both my wife and I had shrimp coctail and my daughter and my son in law had fried calamari. The appetizers were perfectly done. I ordered filled mignon and my wife had stuffed flounder. Our daughter and her husband both had surf and turf which was sent back for not being cooked. We all had a.couple of round of drinks. That was the good part. We had a server who from the time she arrived at our table never smiled actually made us a bit uncomfortable. She brought the drinks brought the dinners put them on the table and never said a word. We had all finished and were discussing after dinner drinks and dessert when our server just walked up to the table and gave us our check. We all just looked at each other speechless. We just paid the bill $400.00 by the way and left. I'm not a tourist and as you know restaurant choices are many but I can tell you Carolina Steak And Seafood are at the bottom of my list for sure. read more

I have visited this restaurant 3 times now, and I have such a hard time choosing a favorite dish. Everything I've eaten has been delicious. The waiters are amazing. The atmosphere is always peaceful. Everyone is always so welcoming. But the food is always the star. The cornbread starter is delicious. Make sure you try the jalapeño butter! It is divine!!! But my favorite dish is the rack of lamb with the carrot purée. My goodness. The balance of sweetness of the carrot with the gamey flavor of lamb just is to die for. I have no complaints. We went for "happy hour" based off of advertisements around town. Happy hour is only available in the bar area. Our party of 5 took a table in the bar area. The service was non existent. None of our orders came out together. My friend finished hers before I got mine, my husband ordered a hamburger steak that was literally raw. He likes medium, so if he says it was raw, it was raw. Server asked if we would like another drink, all of us had empty vessels. We had no drinks with our meal. I went to the bar to order so we would have a drink with our meal. Bartender said she would be right with me while she was mixing a drink. Then she proceeded to go down the bar to take food orders. We finally got our drinks from the server when we were ready for the check and to leave. The happy hour food was awful, so don't fall for the so called $10 deal, your guts will thank you. I stopped in on a Friday for happy hour. They advertise 10 meals for $10 on the marquee. The place is very spacious it has a lounge, bar, and dining area.I sat at the bar.The lady I sat next too ordered 2 large pizzas to go but 2 small pizzas came out.We were all confused but the bartender said this is the standard large pizza.I think maybe they only come in one size.She declined to purchase and the bartender was upset.This does make me rethink my order.Fried pickles & a martini something simple..right?.. Nope the pickle spears had so much breading on them people asked if they were mozzarella sticks.Once you bite it the pickle slides out and your left with a bunch of crumbs everywhere. My husband and I were at the outlets shopping for a bit, and then decided to have lunch. I did a quick google search and this place came up . It's a huge restaurant with a few different rooms; and hardly anyone inside. We wondered how this place stayed in business? We were later told the place is busy in the evenings. Our young waitress, Kelia, was sweet, yet seemed a little shy. She provided good service. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my husband ordered the Southern fried chicken sandwich. Both portions were big. His sandwich was topped pimento cheese. The fries were crispy. There were about 6-7 good size shrimp in the grits, along with andouille sausage, onions and red and green bell peppers. The grits weren't overly thick and the sauce light and creamy. I also had a side Caesar salad; and we were served some cornbread, which was excellent. I thought the teas were expensive, almost $4.00 each; and we found it odd to see a "kitchen appreciation fee." We've never seen that before. We later talked to the executive chef and while we didn't ask him about the fee, he did state it's hard to keep staff at restaurants, and has the best cooks in the kitchen. First, the food was absolutely disgusting.This was an overpriced buffet. I felt like I was eating in the dining room of a nursing home. There weren't many options despite what the advertisement said. The frame rib was so raw, it wasn't even edible. It smelled weird as well. The servers didn't clear tables of the dirty dishes, you had to hand them to them or put on an empty table. We were sat near a busses station and they had to keep reach over and around us. I regret this place and will never go back. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Loved this place! The atmosphere was a bit too loud for us, but it is to be expected at a high traffic tourist area. The service was slow. I'm not certain how many tables she was working, but she did not check back too often. Still, she was polite and did a fair job. Now for the absolutely delicious food.... The ambiance is lovely inside and out - charming and inviting. We sat at the bar area for happy hour. The pour on my wine was generous and we were served by the lovely Joy, who while says she usually works in the dining room, did a fantastic job handling the bar with a smile. There was a steady stream of families heading into the dining room. We didn't get dinner, but did go in to check out the dining room. The pizza oven is right there and you can watch them made. The chef says the oven is 650 degrees! The beautifully handmade pizzas came out in a matter of minutes, bubbling hot with a puffy, crispy crust. Went for their Easter Buffet, I was disappointed. The shrimp scampi was over cooked, as was the salmon. The prime rib wasn't available, well done, the turkey and ham were dry. However, the salad and dessert bars were excellent. I'll try a regular night in the future. Everyone deserves a second chance. read more

Hubby took me to dinner on Sunday, July 27th. They were pretty crowded, but we didn't have to wait for a booth that we had requested. Our server, Dana S, was so friendly and attentive. We split the filet and lobster. Lobster tail was huge and per my hubby DELICIOUS. My filet was cooked to perfection and so tasty. Hubby had the shrimp cocktail and that too was awesome. Shrimp were done just right. This is not the cheapest place to choose, but when we want a good consistently delicious meal, this is where we go. They even have a photographer there to take photos. You get a free postcard size photo and can purchase others if you choose. There was no pressure to purchase any. But we did anyways. Corn bread and butter complimentary. Very fresh and moist. Most of all we want to thank our waitress Natalie. She is the best attentive waitress around. We appreciate her sweet nature and she is so fast and accurate. She can handle the pressure of large groups but still very observant to customers needs. We think she is great! The ambiance is decent and the service very good. The quality of the food is excellent - with good portions and value. The jambalaya is very tasty and loaded with seafood and rice. My wife had a delicious NY Strip Steak. These came with a choice of salad or soup, plus dessert. The desserts were a little disappointing. Stay away from the cheesecake - texture and taste just not right. Tab with 2 glasses of wine was about $100 before gratuity. I'd say the entrees were 5 star and the overall 4 star. read more

A friend of mine had a porkchop that took up half the plate! I ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer. It was more fried yellow peppers than calamari though. For an entrée I ordered the filet steak and lobster tail with mashed potatoes and coleslaw, which was very pricey at $79 before tax. Place looks good and different...was told someone new owned it. Ok...........Menu............wth. $6.75 for a 12 ounce domestic! $12 bucks for a house salad! Cheapest thing on menu was a freakin chicken breast for $33! I know things have gone up....but after 10 minutes of sitting there and not one waitress came by and we saw staff hanging out etc............my wife decided she did "not feel good" and we got up and walked out.........oh and no staff even noticed!
