I considered putting in insulation in October to support my energy costs and went through several quotes with other companies prior to selecting this team. They let me know they were on the way prior to arrival, took impeccable care of my home by laying down cloth, wearing booties, and doing a bang up cleaning job prior to leaving. This company is run to perfection. I requested a quote and the person that came to my unit spent time looking for reasons why the AC was running on overdrive. He looked in the attic as well as the crawl space below. He explained all the work needed to be done and he in turn gave all that information to Richard and Brandon. Let me say something about them, I have never seen people so dedicated to do a good job, they found a few more details after removing my existing R20 insulation they sealed every square inch where air was being transferred, they wrapped a piece of metal around the fireplace vent so the insulation wouldn't come in contact with the hot metal. They took pictures of all they found and made the house much more energy efficient. R49 is what I have in the attic now and in the crawl space they sealed every orifice, nook and cranny where air was being transferred. The crawl space was always cool before the job, not anymore thanks to Richard and Brandon who replaced all pink R19 insulation found that over the years got dislodged from the floor. They did so much more that I can't describe in detail all they did. Thanks Richard and Brandon! you guys did a fabulous job, just like if it was your own house and it shows. We recently moved into a 50+ year old, split-level, with two separate and under-insulated attics. We had no easy way to access either attic, and the upper floor was so hot it was unbearable. Our newly-built home is just 18 months old, but we are using two areas in ways we didn't anticipate and we needed insulation. Ed, Richard and Brandon provided wonderful service. The work to be done was spelled out in the proposal, but I didn't have a clear understanding of what certain of the activites required. I thought they'd be here about three hours. It was more like six, not because they were slow, but because they were thorough. I watched much of what they did and they provided clear explanations as they worked. And the part I couldn't watch - I wasn't going to walk my 70-year old butt 40-feet across rafters hidden under 18-iches of existing fiberglass - was documented by several photographs that they reviewed with me. As for the work - it's 90-degrees outside. Before the new insulation, it would whave been 95-100 in the garage, even with the new portable A/C running. I just looked, it's 86 and that's 30 minutes after my wife put 4,000 of hot CRV in there. I'm happy. read more
