They also had a big issue putting my car back together Sergio the owner was the biggest hassle with him huffing in my ear on the phone after asking the progress on my car. They didn't seem they valued my car in any way and had gorillas going at my car ripping things off of it. Also rally lights cut off and thrown in the back when they didn't need to touch the hood and if you're going to touch them put them back. Just glad they didn't throw those away like the pieces of my front bumper that were still good. Horrible service would not recommend this shop a day in my life!!!

I decided to take the car with me while they ordered parts assuming there would be no other damages that would need to be repaired as well. They told me it would take 2-3 days to get parts in as Hyundai tends to overnight parts. A week goes by and parts still haven't arrived so I call and they tell me wrong parts were ordered, with my schedule I had to wait another week to find out if the parts came in and when I can drop off. Finally they come in and when I dropped the vehicle off they told me again 2-3 days but throughout the next 2 weeks they gave me excuse after excuse such as wrong part again (which blows my mind since the insurance paperwork says exactly what part number needs to be ordered) and their tech doesn't want to come in and even as they were finishing it they told me after washing the car off that they noticed the headlight has water in it AND HAD TO ORDER ANOTHER REPLACEMENT PART. After taking a look at other reviewers this seems to be a common complaint so if you value time don't waste it here. They are lazy and will drag you through a mess of lies one after the other. Oh I wish this drops the rating much lower to reflect how shady they actually are.

Now he works out of a self-storage building so you have to go through a secure gate to get to his location. Can't even see him in person. Never give him your credit card number, you will be sorry and lose your money.

I was involved in a car accident that left the car with rear bumper damage. I took my car here…read morebecause I was referred by a local dealerships that I had done business with in the past. The people at the dealership have great customer service so I trusted their referral without question. I took my car here and met with Jim. Nice guy overall. After talking with him about what I was there for my car bumper. I mentioned to him my windshield had some over spray on it. I explained to him how I was told to remove it. He went out and took a look at it and said if time permitted he'd see what he could do. Fast forward to Saturday when I pick up my vehicle. My car was inside the garage with the door closed. As I walked into the shop there was an awkward vibe. Two guys standing around watching Jim dry off my car. Jim said they were washing it inside because it was cold out. It was. I dismissed the awkwardness. Jim began to tell me about the overspary that was all over the car, which I already knew. He showed me a clay bar that he said he went over the car and window with. He said he went over the windshield with a razor and the clay bar and had removed the overspary. I was glad because it was really a dangerous problem. He said the car would have to be buffed to remove the overspray. That was not my concern. As long as the bumper was good and he removed the overspary off the windshield I was happy. The bumper looked great. I was given the keys to the car, they opened the door to the garage. I drove out into the sun and was shocked there were scratches all over the windshield. At first I thought it was lint from the rag he was using to dry the car, so I drove off. I put some wiped fluid on it and the scratches remained. I couldn't believe it. My first thought was to go back and RAM my car into the front of the business for two reasons. One because I talked with Jim about some issues with the car that had nothing to do with the accident. I simply wanted to make things right inspite of those issues. Two because I have a rage problem that I am currently working on. It only comes out with lies and disrespect. I didn't call to explain to Jim the damage he caused or the fact that the overspary was still there because it would have fueled the anger. In the end it's my fault for asking someone for advice and accepting help that was offered by someone that wasn't experienced in that particular line of work. I'm sure he meant well, however to have me come get the car and not mention anything about the scratched up windshield pissed me off. Because I am shifting my thoughts in a new direction I just took it on the chin. I gave it to god and asked for the strength to get past it. The process of surrender is tough, but I know in the end its for the better. So Jim this is simply to let you know I noticed everything, but chose to let it go. God will handle the rest. The three stars is for the bumper.

I went by yesterday and they said it's probably a wiring problem but they can't figure it out so I should pick up the truck. We get there and the battery is completely drained. Now it won't start at all, even with a jump box and a some starting fluid. Had to have it towed to Toyota. It's in worse shape than when it went there. And they charged $125 for towing the vehicle that ran when we took it there. Useless bunch of bubba's there.

Maybe they aren't always the lowest price in a 30 mile radius, but they often run special discounts on tires and such so it pays to get on their mailing list. Recent interior design updates to the lobby have transformed it into a comfortable, cheery place to sit and wait. It's got a really cute old country store vibe but modern (does that make sense?) ... I especially enjoy the raised counter & barstools in the window corner (see photo) with plenty of space to park a laptop, and yes there's WiFi. The restrooms are outside of the shop which is less than ideal but whatever, it's an old school gas station setup after all. On a personal note: My father adored everyone he dealt with at Winding Brooke and was a loyal customer for years up until the day he died. It meant a lot to me to know "the kids at his mechanic's" as he called them, were so gracious in responding to his eccentricities and able to smile about some memories with me now that he's gone.
