I absolutely recommend this place! We had an issue with our sunroof not closing no matter how many times we tried. We called the dealership to schedule an appointment and they had no availability until mid October smh. Our only options were to find a local place to take a look, many places we went to were closed or closing it being only 5pm. We search around and found Seatco who were still opened! From the first hello extremely friendly atmosphere. He came out to take a look at the vehicle,he first tried to close it and ironically it worked lol. Seatco, worked on my front passenger seat, replacing the whole unit after finding out that the frame was fractured and damage from some unknown reason. They gave me option from just replacing the leather seat material, replacing the seat with a used model to brand new. They even fixed the seat warmer sensor that went bad on the original seat. I asked them to repair the wear and tear of the rear seat and replace the seat belt buckle. Every thing was top notch and brought the project under budget. A quality product. Honest, too. I had my auto interior rain soaked and ruined by a broken window. They fixed it, found shortcomings in others work, too. But I misplaced some valuable coins, I gave up looking for them. Turns out they were lost in the car somewhere- they found them and put them in a bag with other stuff they thought I needed. I dropped off my seats at Seatco on a Tuesday and picked them up Thursday morning. They are VW Eurovan seats that I mated to my VW Vanagon Westfalia. I provided my own seat covers so I was only paying for the install. Matt quoted me a fair price and their labor rates are on par with a lot of shops. They even called me on Wednesday because they encountered a defect in the seat covers and asked that I come in. From what I saw it was minor and I told them to proceed. They are perfectionists here and take pride in their work. They didn't want to install a subpar cover, but I was fine with it and appreciated them contacting me. I requested information on repairing a leather seat in my car in early December. Matt responded quickly with a figure and asked that I come in for him to evaluate the tear. He explained that they don't repair the small rip but asked if he could cut a sample to order the materials. Matt requested a week to gather the information as he was taking a long weekend. After calling several times to follow up, Matt has yet to return my calls, leaving me with a hole in my seat rather than a small rip. My rear back seat in my car was damaged due to cleaning solvent that contained ammonia by a car cleaning service. Ugh I tried getting seat detailed but no luck. Our Lexus RX350 was really showing its age with both front seats being worn and cracked. The price for replacement OEM seat covers from Lexis was in the thousands. Based on Yelp reviews, we ended up at Seatco and I couldn't have been more pleased. I met with Matt and he explained all the options to fix the seats. I ended up having them replace the severely damaged areas, recondition and re-dye all other areas . The results were nothing short of miraculous. The seats look brand new. I also have to say the quality of the replacement leather is better then the original. It feels thicker and much more durable. Disclaimer: this review is purely for customer service!! Honestly I got tired of writing reviews a while back. It's the problem with going to too many places, and accruing a massive backlog. So the fact that I'm writing a review, for a place I've never been to no less, is fairly new to me as well. I am currently entertaining playing around with custom car parts, and accidentally sent Matt a message on yelp (yelp you fail at suggesting related shops). He doesn't run an auto body shop, and still was the only one that not only sent me a message with suggestions of shops around the area I should reach out to in a message. He also followed up with a call. All this for a person who he knew wouldn't be paying for his services #faithinhumanityrestored. If he's willing to go to these lengths for a non-potential-customer, I can only imagine the lengths he would go to for his actual customers. He gave me a rough quote to dye my interior leather and when it was time to do the job he kept his word on that quote. The interior of our thirteen year-old VOLVO looked shabby because the head liner was detached around the edges and falling down in front of the rear window . Matt, the owner, is one of the most honest guys I've ever encountered in the car business. My Honda Pilot had a leak that two other shops were unable to diagnose/fix. Matt took the time to take my entire car apart and discovered that I had three leaks (!!!), meaning that it was probably cheaper for me to get another car, rather than fix this one. That's the bad news. The good news is that Matt was kind, courteous, a great communicator (sent me videos of the leaks once they were found), and was genuine about solving my car problems. He even offered me a ride to the shop so I wouldn't have to Uber out there. Highly recommend Matt and Seatco -- they were terrific!
