The bar is pretty small but the coziness makes it charming though. Pretty clean. The place is dim so it's hard to know for sure. Got to mention for those who couldn't tell by the name that it's also pet friendly. It's usually dogs in here ironically. There's also a jukebox with a good collection of songs, and a few TVs for watching games or things.

Carol's Pub in Andersonville totally delivers if you're looking for a fun, laid-back night out with great music and even better vibes. It's a honky-tonk spot--clean, comfortable, and surprisingly well put together. I stopped in to catch Mark Mackay with guitarist Jeff Marshall, and the band was fantastic! The sound system is crystal clear, loud (in a good way), and made the whole show pro-level. On top of that, the service was excellent--friendly, fast, and on top of things all night. They also serve legit good food, not just your typical bar bites. Perfect for soaking up the drinks. And if there's no live band, don't worry--the jukebox connects to your smartphone, so you can queue up your fave alt country tunes without leaving your seat. Carol's is definitely one of those spots that's way more than it looks from the outside. Great music, great staff, and a super fun local vibe. I'll be back. read more

This place should not be able to call itself Carol's Pub. They have taken a once-great late-night bar and destroyed it with rude incompetent staff and a want to be trendy atmosphere. Please restore this place to its dive feel, bring back the great house band and make it a fun atmosphere again (rather than the Lincoln Park/Wicker park trendiness it now has) otherwise my advice would be to skip it. read more

There are also non-alcoholic selections for wines, beers and cocktails for those that require that. In addition they also have bubbles, so that is a win for me.
