So I was on my way back from NYC travel the NJ turnpike returning to Virginia and wanted to grab a few pizza pies from the up north to take on my journey back home. Saw a few places when I looked up pizza on Apple Maps. Saw that this one had decent reviews so I ordered anyway. So I diverted my route boy I'm glad that I did. The pizza was delicious and the Sicilian pizza was delicious as well. I hadn't had a Sicilian pizza in over 20 yrs. Cause I lived in Midwest. It tasted even better the next day when o rewarded it in our air fryer. Definitely will be looking this place up the next time I'm passing through NJ. read more

I got the large cheese pizza with extra cheese. I had that once before at this Italian restaurant / takeout pizza place. All of their Italian food is very good. The young lady who delivered the food was ahead of schedule but didn't point it out. She was a very good cool person about her accomplishments. She also didn't let the male employee take credit for what she achieved. Carosello's Pizza & Pasta makes a lot of good food. I have only used them for delivery services but most people know I did not cook the food myself. I'm not that much of a cook. The service is pretty good if you ask for it. For example, if someone would like hot tomato dipping sauce with the the same flavor as the Pizza sauce (garlic, Swiss cheese or some cheese and a little bit of jalapeño peppers) the store may make it up for you even though the Pizza sauce didn't taste anything like the above. I would say the restaurant is quite accommodating to it's customers and their gustatory illusion(s). Thank you. Tom read more

Tonight we tried their salads. Husband liked their chicken Cesar salad. I tasted a small piece to try the dressing I liked it for it wasn't creamy. I like light Cesar salad dressing. I had the chef salad. Was packed with stuff. I like fresh veggies instead of pickled peppers and it actually had pickles instead of cucumbers. Sometimes salads have those small gherkin like pickles but these were like burger pickles. Salads were definitely worth the money and we will be back to try other food. Gave them 4 instead of 5 cuz of pickles and pickled peppers instead of cucumbers and fresh peppers...... chuck I asked for no pickles and raw green peppers and then fresh the person had no idea what I was talking about. You guys know I take my reviews and ratings seriously. With that, let me say that over the course of my 2 year residency in NJ, I have been having the hardest time finding good pizza, salad and cheesesteaks. Carosello's has ALL THREE. This place has the most amazing pepperoni pizza, generous chicken Caesar salad with the best homemade dressing and the cheesesteaks?! OMG. Food is always hot and ready for pick up on time. My husband and I have ordered from here every day since last Thursday. Amazing! read more

If you like half filled pizza boxes this is the place for you. Had a ten person party and ordered two Sicilian pizzas to help satiate the guests. When we got home and opened the boxes, we were stunned. I felt compelled to call them and ask them if they had the rest of my pizza there. For as little as we got, the pizza stunk, so there's that. Don't take my word for it, if the pics below are how you like your pizza, dig in. Look at all that real estate, just hoping to be filled with pizza only to be disappointed like all of us who ordered from here. Had to get another pizza from a legitimate pizza joint. I ordered 4 slices of pizza last night for a quick dinner for the two of us. They were hot, crispy, and ready to go when I arrived. We love that this place is right across the street from our apartment complex. It's convenient and the staff is always very friendly when we visit. I've had their dry wings on recommendation of a friend & they are def the best wings in South Jersey!! Although sometimes, depending on the cook, the wings are over-fried. Their pizza, however, could use some major improvement. Sorry, but every time we've ordered the pizza, it's consistently undercooked because the dough is clear and chewy. The sausage they use is dried out and thrown onto the pie in a big lump. Also, whomever took the order charged me for a large pie when I said small. read more

Okay.....i love my pizza!!! im not EXTREAMLY picky with most my food but i do have favorite places to go.(and im kinnnnd of a pizza/cheesesteak snob!) For me..... if im gonna be getting pizza for take out or delivery and im in the area or what ever- theres only TWO places i will go. Carosellos or Marino's in runnemede. Marinos is amazing yes, but i feel like Carosellos doesn't get the fame it deserves! The staff here are SOOO nice! They treat you as if your family every time you go here! Im always greeted w smiles and sometimes some light shmoozing.( god how ive missed this place since ive moved!) Anyways.....about the food! I really like thier cheesesteaks (with meyo & extra cheese), but what i really LOVE here and what i usually ALWAYS get- is the white pizza with broccoli and ricotta!!!! its unmatched in the white pizza department. Ordered Pizza, wings and fries. I love their pizza it's cheesy and the crust it crunchy. Closest thing to boardwalk pizza I've found locally. Wings were a bit on the small side but had really good tangy flavor. Fries were crinkle cut with the perfect amount of crunch and salt, very good. This place definitely has the best wings in South Jersey! They also have the best crust of any pizza I've had as well. I'm not sure why the other reviewer commented on the prices but they actually seem cheaper than most of the other area places. I've been a customer for about 8 years now and not once have I ever had a bad experience.
