Had to take meat off one half just to make a whole sandwich, I Would've been better off next door at salad works smh

$16 for a 12" turkey hoagie with only 6 slices of meat is not an ideal hoagie. There was so much lettuce on the roll I could hardly taste the turkey

Dry pork, nasty flavor

Stopped by to try the pork sandwich and my wife got a couple slices of pizza. The pizza had no flavor. The pork was shredded and only tasted of cumin, just disgusting, I could barely eat a half. They also had the heat off and it was freezing cold in there. The chick working was rude and couldn't even say hello....AVOID!

Just a quick affirmation.... WOW!! It''s not that I forgot how amazingly good this Deptford eatery is ... it's just that I am usually too busy or not in the mood to eat but I drive by with a smile. Today, LABOR DAY, was the exception and what an excellent choice for lunch with no labor on my part except to get through the truly delicious food! Once again Johnny's hit all the 5 star marks ... 1. GREETED with warmth and made to feel welcome! In fact as the young woman behind the counter noted my eyes straining to read the menu on the wall she directed me to the printed menu's that I had not noticed. That made a huge difference! * No there is not table service while ordering but they bring your food to you with a smile! 2. The restaurant is clean and has a fun feel to it!. It's no longer brand new so there are a few signs of wear around the place but walk in and you feel good. 3. A nice array of very appealing pizza's on display to choose from and a menu loaded with great options (I was not in a pizza mood but was tempted.). 4. OH THE FOOD ... a Greek salad packed with a jar full of Kalamata olives. Definitely a salad for two or in this case for two meals! Plus garlic knots along with a yummy marinara sauce to dip them in. And, my wrap had eye appeal, a noticeable aroma that screamed EAT ME, and each bite was so satisfying plus the fries were perfect in every single way fries can be perfect (Hot, crispy on the hot side and soft inside, and clearly fried in clean oil!) my only complaint was that there were so many fries I had to send some to oblivion in the waste basket. NO, I don't live around the corner from Johnny Longhots but I do travel in their direction quite frequently. I just need to make sure I am hungry and it is lunch or dinner time ... and then it will be MANGIA!!!

Decent little pizza shop in the strip mall with a few other places to eat. Inside was clean and has a nice ambiance. Service was average speed, no complaints. Stromboli was a bit black on the bottom. Some might consider it a little burnt but my luckily I like it that was as it prevents the bottom from getting soggy and keeps a little crisp to it. Old bay fries included the white cheese sauce most places skip but they still over coated some of the fries making the old bay over powering and salty. Overall I'd say the place is above average but not exceptional

I have been craving a good chicken cheesesteak hoagie, but wasn't sure where to get one in NJ. Being from Phila, my chicken cheesesteak hoagie standards are high (smile). I have been driven by Johnny Longhots a few times but on this day I decided to check the Yelp reviews, they were good. I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. I got my chicken cheesesteak hoagie with provolone cheese and a small order of fries; I was able to get 3 meals out of it. I would definitely go back here again the next time I have a craving. The place is spacious, well lit and clean. I recommend it.

Very tasty for a pizza with minimal ingredients. I appreciate the squareness of the pizza as it maximizes the space of the pizza box. 10/10 would come again. Thank you.

Burger runn Cheesesteak…read more I've been told repeatedly to try the cheesesteaks here. On a previous visit I had the burgers and I thought they were very good. Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. I thought the wait was a little long.... But I stood there waiting for my sandwich. Finally a woman from the back come up front to address a problem with a chicken order and asked what I was waiting for.... A cheesesteak I replied and the counter woman that took my order grabbed a bag that was sitting in the pickup pile and handed it to me Alex? She asked yes I replied. I took my sandwich and got into my truck. At a red light I reached over to feel the bag... it was Luke warm. I expected my sandwich to be piping hot. Ggggggrrrrrrr. That is why I ordered at the place but the nearly 30 minute wait with the undetermined amount of time it was on the to go counter will you get the picture. On my arrival at home I opened the sandwich and snapped a photo. At this point it was barely warm. I prepared it with ketchup, hot pepper hoagie spread and my last slices sweet horseradish dill pickles. The first bite was underwhelming. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype.

There's a lively atmosphere in there, which may be a little too loud for some people, but it's never been bad while we're there. Granted, we've been fortunate to miss the evening rush the two times we've gone, so service has always been good; with friendly servers and the food coming out fairly quickly. No idea if this is the norm, but the service staff are always nearby and seem to be very attentive even when it's busy. As for the food, it's solid pub fare. Lots of sandwiches and comfort dishes. The salads are good, and the sandwiches (chicken parm and shrimp po' boy sliders) I've tried have been good enough that I wouldn't hesitate to get them again. The serving sizes were larger than we expected, so definitely come hungry or order something that'll be good as leftovers. If there's one picky thing to consider, it's that they under salt their fries. I usually don't like too much salt, but they're noticeably lacking. The fries are good, though. With a nice staff, fair prices, bang-for-your-buck portions, and tasty food, Nipper's is worth checking out when your craving pub food and a pub atmosphere.

First time here and last time. Ordered a Cuban sandwich and…read morereceived their version of it I suppose . Slices of pork , a slice of ham , chopped pickles and a healthy overdose of a white sauce and it was served on an upside down sub roll . Yes , slice a roll and make the sandwich on the darker round part and leave the cut inside part on the top and bottom . Any Cuban I've ever had was always pressed or grilled but this was not , it was just sloppy upside down bread . I've never had a Cuban sandwich like this before ! It was a sloppy mayo dripping mess that I couldn't eat because I can't eat mayonnaise, something that should have been on the menu description. When a server popped by I asked what it was and she said it was a mayo- horseradish sauce and walked away . I ate the tater tots and left the sandwich, it was pretty bad . Well my boyfriend was finished his meal and both of our beers were empty and yet no one bothered to ask if we wanted another round . We sat there and waited, looking around at the 3 employees who were just standing there talking ... no one seemed to care. Our server who disappeared after taking our order walked right past us to chat with a couple of younger guys right behind us , they were regulars and she obviously knew them . They were chatting and laughing away and here we sat with empty glasses , an upside down sub roll slathered with mayo sauce and no server . Finally another server came by to ask if we wanted anything else and I said no just the check . She saw the sandwich untouched and I said I didn't know it had mayonnaise , something I can't have . She brought the check back and said she removed the Cuban . Um ....no , we were charged $2.50 for the tater tots which I did eat and $2.00 for the Cuban . What did she remove ? Meanwhile when our server saw we were leaving she finally decided to tear herself away from her conversation with the guys to ask if we were okay ....no but thanks for asking . A drink refill , a stop by to see if we needed anything or how was the food but no , we ceased to exist after she took our order . Overall pretty disappointing experience here and we won't be returning. And we're always very generous tippers but not tonight . Tonight we tipped based on the overall experience.... Food - not good at all Service - pretty much nonexistent Atmosphere- if you're a regular you get treated like you matter , you actually get a server that's not invisible !!! Would definitely not recommend this place

Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.

First, I sampled the meat, cheese, and onions by themselves. Pretty darn tasty. Next, I tried a bite on the toasted garlic roll. Very pretty darn tasty. Then I added the habanero sauce. Now we're talking. Very, very pretty darn tasty. If you've followed my cheesesteak adventures for any length of time, you know I'm not exactly a hot sauce guy.
