A friend had recommended this company, and after being given an over the phone quote I decided just to go ahead with them. They weren't the cheapest but they came recommended and that meant more to me than price. They quoted me on a 3 bedroom 1,000 square foot house. They arrived on time and I left them to do the job while I drove my son to school. I was back within 15 minutes and they had already left. At first glance everything looked good but I started to realize that they had not moved ANY of our small furniture, e.g toy boxes. They had not bothered to clean under the couches and had totally skipped the third bedroom! I called them back to talk about getting the third bedroom done and Frank, the owner told me it was my fault that they had missed it! ( even though their quote was for 3 bedrooms!) I asked that they come back to finish the Job within the next 2 days as we were having a function and I had already paid them. Frank told me that there was no way he could come back. I pleaded with him explaining that I had already paid him for the 3 bedrooms and needed it done in time for function. He started to get very angry and abusive, telling me that it was my fault that they skipped the third bedroom abd that there was no way that he would ever set foot in my house again, and then he demanded to talk to my husband! I was so shaken and upset by this point that I put my husband on and they were able to work out an agreement. Frank would reimburse us a portion of the money we paid him so that we could try to get somebody else out to do the 1 bedroom. He would leave it in the mail box the next day. Ha! Never happened! My husband called him to find out where the money was and Frank replied that he had talked it over with his wife and son and that there was no way that we were getting any money from him. We thought it over and thought about taking him to court but it just wasn't worth our time and effort. Think twice and save yourself from the trouble of using this completely unprofessional Company!

He gave me a very reasonable quote and we scheduled for a week away so I had time to move furniture. He showed up on-time for the appointment. He lined my floors with mats to keep the house clean. He explained the process and went right to work. He searched each room for stains with a blacklight and pretreated the stains. He offered me a stain resistant treatment for after it was complete which I accepted after researching the product. An hour and a half later all three carpets looked new! I was so impressed. After calling the company and complained, they called the employees and they washed/dusted the blinds. The problem was that after they left, I noticed that they didn't dust the top corners of the rooms, the top of the ceiling fan, and the washer/dryer. As they were leaving, they asked me if there was anything else they could do and I asked if they could clean the glass in the bathroom again since their was still some water stains on one of the glass but not the others. The employee responded by saying that there was nothing he could do about it and that I would need to call the city and tell them to change the water since it's too harsh. BE SURE that you have a list ready with EVERYTHING you want to be done to avoid any confusion.

The sewage water spread to my hallway floors then into my bedroom and smelt horrible. Within an hour of contacting Steamatic they came out. They came just in time before it reached my moving boxes. Not only did they have an innovative way of removing the contaminated material, but they did it accurately, quickly and professionally.
