I received text notification telling me when I can expect Lee to arrive and he was punctual. He got straight to work, walking through my home taking note of any areas that needed stain treatment. Lee worked efficiently and thoroughly, at the end, my carpets were renewed and fresh, a perfect deep cleaning!! Carpet Monkey will be my go to company for my carpets in the future!! My carpets are now hardwood so no need to clean them, however my dog decided to pee all on my couch, so I had them come out and do the cleaning on it. All right. Imagine this carpet full of dog pee stains. By the time this guy was done, our carpet looked almost brand new. I say "almost" because theres a small bleach spot where I messed up on and there really wasn't much he could do about it without having to replace that part of the carpet. I had them come in last Tuesday to do 3 small repairs and a cleaning. They were punctual and courteous, which I greatly appreciated. I didn't have extra carpet lying around since I didn't originally install it. So they took carpet from a closet, which was fine. However, they did not put anything in it's place. So now there's bare wood and tack strips showing in my closet. Alas, a minor complaint. The gentleman didn't quite a bit of time on the repairs. They look just okay. You can definitely see where the repairs were made since there are plastic fibers all over that weren't trimmed up. But it's still way better than before and at half the cost I was quoted by another guy. However, it was the cleaning itself I was least impressed with. I realize no amount of cleaning is going to work miracles for the crappy cheap carpet that was installed. But, it really didn't look any better then when I've used my Hoover carpet cleaner I bought at Target for a little more than $100. And the carpet was still just as mattress as it was before he started. I'm honestly not sure how he cleaned so fast. The cleaning process for my whole house (living room, 2 bedrooms, office, hallway) took 30 minutes. It takes me hours to clean it when I shampoo the carpet. He also said about 6 hours to dry. I left all the doors and windows open and put fans in all my rooms and turned the heater up. 12 hours later it was still very, very damp. It wasn't dry until the next day. Moral of the story: professional carpet cleaning won't work miracles. But these are nice guys who do reasonable work for a good price. I just wish it would have turned out better. read more

Not satisfied with my results. I wished my carpet came out 1/2 as good as the pictures. There were places where the couch was that was matted down even after they left, my Dyson got the matted carpet up, don't know why they couldn't. I made an appointment for removing pet's odor and stain. Their first arrival and operation was not good. (My place had no odor before and the tech at that time said it looks not too bad after he investigate, but Odor became too strong and was not even gone for around two days) If you do not have cash, you can pay with your card through the phone with xtra 3 dollars of fee and your entire card information to them. I paid $132 + $20 (tips) at that time. They reached me again after I leave Yelp review. I was able to see they were extremely unhappy about it (I was very unhappy about their work as well). However, they offered me they can re-do it with using some different product (48-enzyme product). Since my home smelled soooooo bad and I spent a lot of money, I had no choice. They came back on Saturday and operate with the product and the nxt available appointment was Tuesday morning, so I made an appointment with them again. They said my carpet is too old and as well as the stain, so if this cannot work perfectly, I have to rip entire carpet out and re-do it. They came back on Tuesday again and did the operation. Odor got weakened. Yes, they care about their customers and reviews at least and if the customer does not satisfy with the operation they care. I understand the entire operation cannot be result perfect depends on my or your carpet condition. But at least this company cares about the customer's opinion. read more

On the day of the scheduled carpet/tile cleaning, I called to ask about payment options and was told the process and then told the technician would be closer to arriving at the latter timeframe of the 2 hour arrival time given as he was finishing another job. Okay. The technician called and confirmed he would be closer to the latter part of the scheduled time. Okay. I went to the home an hour before he was said to arrive. The arrival time comes and goes with no one showing up. I wait another hour, in my car and then call back. The technician said he has about 30 more minutes. Another hour goes by and I call back again, he says he is 35 minutes out. An hour later I get a computer generated text from the company saying he is on his way. We call again and he said he was doing an extra large house, on top of my appointment and was 22 minutes away. The technician was very cordial and apologetic. Apparently, the "inconvenience" of my sitting in my car waiting for 4.5 hrs was only worth a paltry 15% off. When we inquired if that was the best they could do, no one answered the text. The technician did the job. However, like another review stated, I went back the next day and my house smelled like I had just let a wet dog run rampant....and there has not been a dog living in the home for 2 years. Rick just finished cleaning my bedroom, hallway, and vehicle all for a super reasonable deal. I found his company on Yelp and only after calling a few local competitors first. When I tried calling other places they were giving me excuses such as "3 room min., can't offer you anything else, can't work around days off, etc" not willing to work with me on what I needed which is ONE room regardless of pricing. Rick was much more flexible. He offered for the price quoted to clean the room specifically, outside hallway area, and to give me my full money's worth he also cleaned my car. My car is not exactly new (2005) and it looks amazing!!! inside. I'll post a few photos. I had caked on stains, food traces on the mats, and other crap. It looks/smells like new. Not to mention he worked on that in my driveway in this blazing heat. I decided to give Carpet Monkeys a try because of all the good reviews and they did not disappoint! Their communication is great. They send text messages of your appointment reminders and when they're on the way, but you can also text the number to talk to a real person if you need to get something rescheduled. I initially scheduled my service about a month away. As it got closer I rescheduled it to an earlier date, but due to my carpet not being available to clean, I had to push it back last minute to my original schedule. I felt like such a pain to keep rescheduling, but they did everything they could to get me scheduled at the time that would work for me. The tech also did a great job! He was clean as he wore booties for his shoes and put a plastic corner bumpers between the wall and the cleaning supplies so it wouldn't dirty or bang the walls.
