ProSource continues to make their own demands on how corrections should be done. And I've been…read moreasked why I'm not ok with their last email. Think about these things: - the install was purposefully done incorrectly. At no point were any of the egregious concerns ProSource now remains fixated on even worthy of mention to me. Not a single one!!! - the prior install took 3 months. I'm supposed to allow them to rip apart a home that I'm trying to sell and then do what exactly with two floors worth of furniture and belongings? How can people even walk through a home with the floor (and subfloor) in total disarray? How can they even enter the 2nd floor when the supposed structural issue is right at the top of the stairs? Answer: they don't. - this isn't a favor to me. I asked for the simplest resolution: just return my money. ProSource, who again did all of this wrong from the get go, now has impossibly high standards that I should bend over backwards for to get the issue resolved. Their way. Their timing. And I'm supposed to trust that this time, they're honorable. What a joke! Honorable people do it right the FIRST time without having to be told! None of this is to help me. They assume people can't see the whole picture. And they want to make it as inconvenient as possible while still denying it was the ENTIRE install. TWO LEVELS. Not "areas". EVERYTHING they did with the laminate. Read that again: EVERYTHING! Don't be me. Don't hire this company. A lot of flowery promises over blatant lies. You might as well install your own floor for the quality this company provides. I'd have done a better job! (I would have prepped the subfloor!!!)

This place gets a 2 instead of one because their sales staff and the actual products they carry are…read moregood. The selection is great and the staff in store is knowledgeable. Where it falls apart is the install. They hire bottom of the barrel workers to actually install the products. There was not a single thing they didn't screw up on install. Because I don't want you to think I'm being dramatic I'll include pictures..... 1. Appliances- we ordered super nice LG cafe appliances from the store. We waited....and waited...and waited. Finally when the day they were suppose to arrive (ordered in February it was now late April) we called and found out they wouldn't be in until December. We had to have something as we moved in to a new house with no appliances. So, we bought a second set that they gave us a "good deal" on. When they arrived, they were clearly used appliances (food in the microwave and crumbs in the oven). However, none of this compares to the splinted mess they left in my beautiful custom cabinets when they drilled a hole for the microwave (pictured). Total disregard for someone else's craftsmanship. 2. Carpet- the carpet was ok on install. There was the normal drywall dings and paint scrapes. The transitions were sloppy but, not the end of the world. My biggest complaint is they didn't clean up after themselves. There was fuzz and carpet pieces everywhere. We spent hours vacuuming just so it didn't look like a shag rug exploded. 3. Tile- Tile 101- use the same batch for the entire floor. If this is not possible mix the batches to insure you don't have a chunk of tile that was noticeably different. They didn't do this and we ended up with a section by our doorway that is noticeably darker than the rest. In addition their gout job was sloppy and there were low spots and spots where thinset was poking through. Once again, no clean up was done. Gout was all over the walls and splattered on tiles. We did call them on this and were given a discount and a worked came back and cleaned up. However, I have to look at the mismatched tile everyday (picture). Bottom line...hire your own installer if you buy product from here.

Some of them needed a lot of help learning to use the litter box, so I wanted to a high quality floor that was easy to clean and could withstand whatever the kittens were going to throw at it. The installers were able to come out quickly once the materials were delivered. They did their work quickly and professionally, and I am happy with the quality of both the flooring and the work. We've had the flooring in place for a few months now, and the kittens have certainly put it through its paces. I specifically chose one of the more expensive options because it met my needs, and I feel that both the product and the service met my expectations. I would certainly recommend Louie's to anyone looking for new flooring.
