We ordered around 1000 sf of carpet for 4 rooms in our home and 350 sf of plank vinyl flooring for 2 rooms. Don Hyde and his son installed the plank flooring and did a great job and cleaned up everything. very impressed by the finished job. Would highly recommend them. We have had several wonderful experiences with Flooring America, with our home and rental properties that are our go to for flooring! This past summer we had a hot water leak and ended up recarpeting our entire house. The carpet and pad are amazing, soft and we get so many compliments on the new flooring. Zero stars actually!! We had Flooring America install carpet in the fall. Salesman was Raunie. When they did the install, they omitted two whole rooms!! They then dodged our calls and e-mails for over four weeks until finally telling us it would be over $3500 additionally to complete the last two rooms. They also claimed we didn't want the last two rooms (even tho my husband literally watched their tech measure both rooms with the rest of the house). Unbelievable! We are stuck with uncarpeted rooms and no recourse. Avoid this place!! read more

Worst place to do business with, they over estimated my floor by 4 cases, the man that laid the Laminate flooring did a terrible job, before he left he said the floor will lay down right, many areas of the floor was bulging up, a couple of days later the same floor man came out to re due the floor, after he was finished some flooring was still not laying down right, so another man came out and he worked on the floor, he did a good job, but their are still place where the floor is still not right, will never go back to this company!! read more

Had a great experience from the start. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and patient with my selection process :). Once I was sure I had picked out the perfect hardwood floor and fireplace stone, we pulled the trigger. Setting up installation was a breeze and the installer was super nice and very accommodating. He even arranged to work over the weekend to keep my project on schedule when we had gotten behind due to a drywall delay. The carpet we had installed is fine - I mean it's carpet. Who gets excited about that. The installation and service after the sale was terrible. First off, they charge for the full price up front. Then the installer shows up in a beat up truck looking like he's been living in the truck. My wife let him in because she saw our carpet hanging out the back of his truck. (Glad it wasn't raining that day). The installation looks fine but our walls, woodwork, and cabinet fronts may never be the same. At a minimum I need to repaint our newly finished walls and woodwork as well as replace the cabinet drawer pulls and closet door guides. Their customer service guy stopped by and said "send us the receipts for the new guides and pulls." Ok , fine, that will cost them all of about $50. To repaint the walls and woodwork will be closer to $600-$700. This for a carpet job that I paid $1400 for. Dang. read more
