Just finished getting a carpet runner installed on my stairs by Maple. The experience was great…read morefrom end to end. Found them at random (I think their Yelp add got my attention) and called the number. Haneef who is in charge called me back within a few minutes and accommodated my work schedule to set up a free visit to quote on the work. Once in my house he looked at the wallpaper, flooring and colour scheme and went back to his vehicle to bring some carpet samples that matched our decor. I much preferred this than having to go through the hundreds of options, Haneef has experience and taste and it was easier to choose from a small sample set than from a giant book. When he quoted the price I was happy, it was fair so I didn't negotiate. They promised 14 day turn around and within 5 days the carpet was fabricated and they called to schedule a Saturday morning install. The installers arrived on schedule, got to work quickly, and were done in an hour and a half. The stairs look great and the workmanship was excellent. I am a stickler for details and they really did a good job. The guys doing the work were polite and professional, and they cleaned up before taking off. I'm pretty happy. I love it when this sort of thing is easy and it was. Thanks Maple and Haneef, if I have another carpet need or set of stairs I will get in touch again.

Rizwan came to show us samples and quote on one of our house visits before the closing date and booked installation for the day after we moved in. Installation happened as promised, which was important to us because we didn't want the dog to move in until they were installed. Now, we (and the dog) love our stairs! Highly recommend.

There were some specials on. We saw something around 8mm for $ 0.99/sq ft in a dark solid brown. Loved the colour, though it seemed the material wasn't the best. Some decent ones for $ 1.49 (you can haggle! love it) but imho the colours weren't the greatest. Lots of variety for hardwood, carpeting, etc. What they didn't know was we had enquired by phone. We were just testing their integrity. But the labour cost was quoted much too high in person & the sales guy was a bit wishy washy. I don't like BS so at least we got our answer. On to the next store! There are a lot of competition for flooring on Kennedy.

The lady told me she would call me if any spots open up. Within a couple of hours she phoned back and said someone just cancelled and we can fit you in. The Tech Dan was friendly and professional. He caught stains I didn't even notice! He has a great eye for detail which is soooo important with the accident that happened on my couch. He took his time to ensure it was done right. I don't usually write reviews but used Yelp for recommendations when choosing. I would highly recommend Dan and the Reliable Carpet & Upholstery team. I was impressed with this service.
