I knew almost right away after the initial…read morecontact I had with them that I was going to be pleased with the work the company did for my new home's flooring. I had a really big project for them! Had carpeting removed in several rooms and replaced with wood flooring and some LVP in the basement. The carpeting removed was from two separate long stairwells, hallway, 4 bedrooms (plus closets), two additional rooms (living room area and a storage room), and making my kitchen and dining room areas existing wood floors come to life again. The moment I reached out for an estimate, I was greeted with very friendly service and quick responses and soon after a date for coming over to provide an estimate. Not to mention the pricing was very good in comparison to other companies I had reached out to. Rico's Flooring team was able to get all that work done in two weeks. I'm so happy with the work they did and highly recommend the team. I would most certainly use them again if I needed more flooring done. They are reliable, honest, friendly, and affordable. The company is owned by two brothers.

It was a lot to deal with at first, but Shamas and his crew took charge of the whole thing, including coordinating directly with our insurance adjuster and staying patient through all the paperwork and back-and-forth. We picked out a bunch of our own tiles and materials from Amazon and other online stores, and Shamas had no problem incorporating them into the project. He also pointed us toward more budget-friendly options when it made sense, and threw in some design suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the finished space. The end result speaks for itself -- every room was brought back to life, and honestly looks better than before. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch; you'd never guess the place had been through that kind of damage. On top of the great work, Shamas and his team were just really easy to deal with -- quick to answer the phone, always punctual, and kept us updated the whole way through. You could tell they took real pride in getting things right. If you're facing major water damage and need a team that can manage the insurance process and deliver a beautiful restoration, Shamas is who you want.

The staff did a great job and were very communicative during the entire process. They were willing to work with us on price and gave us a discount based on other quotes. We were allowed to view the showroom and take some samples to the house to see how the floors would look in the sunlight. We were in close contact with one of the owners, Candi, as she would give us updates and answered any of our questions along the way. Overall, everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful, and we're very satisfied with their work!

Terrible - caused catastrophic damage and refused responsibility…read more I hired this company to install outdoor carpet on my terrace of a brand-new home. Before work began, I explicitly instructed the contractor not to use nails, screws, or make any cuts due to waterproofing and structural concerns. These instructions were clear and non-negotiable. Despite those warnings, the contractor ignored my instructions and used fasteners and cuts anyway, directly compromising the waterproofing system. As a result, my home suffered extensive water intrusion and damage that now totals tens of thousands of dollars. When I discovered the damage and attempted to address it professionally, the contractor refused to engage, hung up on me, and has since avoided all responsibility for the destruction caused by his work. There was no attempt to inspect, repair, remediate, or even discuss a resolution. This was not a misunderstanding -- it was a complete disregard for client instructions, property protection, and professional accountability. The work performed has resulted in major financial loss, legal action, and months of disruption. If you value your property, your investment, or basic professionalism, do not hire this company. I am now pursuing this matter through the courts because the contractor has failed to take responsibility for the damage caused by his actions.
