They fixed the issue in literally 10 minutes. Imagine how disastrous it could have been if I had attempted it myself and damaged my paint! While other shops quoted me $1,600 for a full mirror replacement Greg from Simi Collision Center showed me that wasn't necessary. First of all he got the housing and glass mirror remounted and in a working state free of charge. He then explained to me that all I need is an inexpensive housing, where I can buy one and how to easily install it myself if I chose to. I prefer to have a professional do the job so I'll have Greg do it and post an update when the jobs complete!
