When the blinds arrive Ryan came to install them and he couldn't have been more friendly and professional. The blinds look gorgeous! My grandchildren were visiting this pasted weekend and, unfortunately, broke one of the blinds. I call Caligari's thinking I would have to purchase a new blind but they informed me that it might be able to be repaired. I scheduled a service call and it was Ryan who came again; I was so glad. He was able to fix the blind right away! For just the cost of a service call the blind is working again! He let me know that he isn't always able to fix blinds on site sometime they need to be sent out for repair, but if he can fix them, he does. So nice! The same evening I met her neighbor who also worked with Thomas to refinish her kitchen. I had been thinking about doing this in my kitchen as my dark cabinets, while beautiful and perfectly functioning, made my space look very dark. We had looked at replacing cabinets and at painting and we decided the cabinets were great and checked on painting. Some of the painters we looked at did not do the quality job we wanted (visible brush strokes etc.) so we contacted Thomas Mach for a consultation. He came and shared his vision for how our kitchen could look and we decided right then to go ahead on the project. His team was so professional, and completely protected the rest of the house from the painting. Everything was sprayed on the spot using Farrow and Ball Paint which carries a 6 year warranty. They also helped us decide on new countertops and back splash. They managed the entire project start to finish and we had a new kitchen in just over a week. We were so impressed we had them also paint our dining room which needed it. This was not a low cost project and more expensive than other companies we checked with, but the quality, professionalism and speed made the choice obvious and worth the value.

I have visited Home Depot many times over the past 25 years because they are the only store in town…read moreother than local hardware stores. I try to avoid Home Depot whenever I can. The store is usually a mess and there is never anyone around to help you. Occasionally, there is someone that is helpful and knowledgeable, but those times are few and far between. The last visit was to purchase a new microwave during tax free weekend. I expected the store to be busy, so I arrived early. The microwave I wanted to purchase was not in stock (Of course), so I asked to order it and have it delivered to the store. I was told by the associate that it could not be delivered to the store, and would have to be delivered to my home. I asked if there would be a delivery fee, and was told that there shouldn't be because he had just sold a new refrigerator that was going to be delivered at no charge. I placed the order, and when we got to the delivery page of the order, I was informed that there was indeed a $39.00 fee for delivery. I asked why it couldn't be delivered to the store at no charge, and was told he didn't know. It was busy, so I let it go with the intention of contacting Home Depot directly, but I wasn't happy. I contacted Home Depot through their website Chat window and the person I was chatting with told me to go back to the store and ask the store manager why there was a delivery fee. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, I was told it would be a 5-10 minute wait, and at the 11 minute mark, I was hung up on, and the chat window disappeared. When I returned home, I emailed HDCares.com and asked the same questions and found out that not only do they not care, they don't respond to emails. Pretty disappointing. I will give their delivery service a good mark because the microwave was delivered in 4 days, and they communicated well via email. My suggestion is to avoid Home Depot whenever possible. There are a couple of Lowes stores, but they're over an hour away. I have always found Lowes to be a clean, neat and well run store, at least the 3 I have visited in the past few years. The associates I have spoken to when there have been plentiful and helpful. I wish we had a Lowes that was local.

Needless the say, I did not get it in 4 days. it was rescheduled for delivery now 6 times! it's been six weeks and I still have no refrigerator. I don't recommend buying an appliance from them!
