Growing up i use to come here for my BD dinner every year. I had not been in a very long time. However this review isn't about that. My review was about Ronald my waiter . Ronald exhibited the kind of service you just dont see anymore. He greeted me and took my drink order. I didnt see the sausage and lenil soup on the menu. I mentioned to him how much i loved that soup. He informed me that in fact they still served it. He brought me some and also took my food order. While dining in there was another patron insistent on flexing for nothing. Thought the restaurant personnel should have known who he was. Didn't matter the personnel handled everyone with the same respectful, good care! In addition, the ambiance was very settling, calming, relaxing until his insecurity stepped in. Among the sides of my order was broccoli. This restaurant uses hot peppers in theirs. I asked for a change to their sautéed spinach (highly recommend). I took advantage of their $10 second meal to take home and asked for the spinach. I didn't realize until later that I was changed twice for the spinach so I called them up and we decided that I would return the next day to meet with one of the managers. I met with Jennifer who, because of how well she took care of me upon my return in terrible rainy weather conditions, is the reason I will return to this particular restaurant even though I don't live anywhere near Morrow! Do NOT order their fettuccine Alfredo if you're looking for any Alfredo sauce. We ordered online and when it arrived it was theeeee driest, most rubbery, zero sauce having order of Alfredo ever. So I called to see if the sauce had been left on the side and the mgr said she packed it herself and it had sauce on it..So she called me a liar basically because there was ZERO sauce, therefore zero flavor. This place has definitely gone down the drain with food and service. It's been opened for years and with staffing issues everywhere it's definitely shown here. "Ms. country" was our server on the receipt her name was Ashaki but she gave me the name of miss country...not only was she not friendly it showed at every table she had. I clearly knew what I ordered but not only was I charged for items I did not receive her telling me I did not order was what ticked me off. Messing up tabs 4-5 times even after we wrote down what we all got. Telling us she doesn't know how long the to-go food we ordered 1 hour before was crazy. Drinks weren't refilled at all nor asked. The calamari was very salty and the white sauce they gave was like coleslaw juice. The mussels had sooo much garlic and vermouth needed more cream and essence. It was not a pleasant visit and I'm sad because it was one of the only greater places in the area. And now having the bad experience I guess it's one to burn off the list to visit. read more

My niece and I love going to Carrabba's happy hour. The only thing is the male bartender is not very friendly or pleasant. He does not interact with the customers. He does not want to talk when you ask him a question. Bartender typically interacts with customers that how you get them to order more. We will go back just not when he's working.! read more

I set at the bar for almost 20 mins to unwind with a cocktail and appetizer, waiting to order a to go dinner for my son and I. Well no one ever came to service the bar. So I decided to get an order to go from the carry out, reluctantly I must add. While I set at the bar I noticed how dirty the bar was. It was in total disarray. This place has gone down tremendously. Location near our house in morrow is hit and miss. If we chose to eat here, we have to go into the restaurant as ordering online is a disaster. Food is fresh and well presented while at the restaurant but looks like slop when delivered. read more

Mission accomplished! On January 8, 2022, my church family hosted our First Lady's 50th Birthday Dinner at this location. We had 20-25 guest in attendance. (This location doesn't take reservations but does give you priority seating with the advance notice.) My party arrival time was 5:30pm. We were seated at 5:45pm. Our servers were very pleasant. The food took a little time coming out but I'm guessing they were short staffed as many businesses are right now due to the pandemic. (Which was understandable!) But it was well worth the wait. I ordered the new Short Rib Marsala. It was delicious. It was seasoned well and tender. (Perfect!) The entire atmosphere was great. We were able to eat, laugh, and take plenty pictures. I would like to thank everyone of the staff members who made this dinner a success. You guys did a wonderful job. Our guest of honor was pleased and for that I'm grateful. It's probably my favorite food anywhere! But today was not a good day to go to have pick up. I sat and waited and waited and waited for somebody to come up front to take my order. The one good thing about it was that the older waiter who is so sweet came up and gave me a hug! Other than the food, he is the one wonderful thing about that restaurant! Not my first time visiting this place. I've always loved the food. The worst visit ever was when I went there on Veterans Day. The meal served was good. Calamari's overcooked a bit. my disappointment was with the arrogance of the people who were serving. Me and 3 fellow Vets ate there and afterwards we had little cash but offered to tip electronicalot. The waitress refused our small tip abruptly and stopped service. She said she'd have to report the electronic tip as wages gave the small cash back and had her manager to finish us up. I was quite unhappy with the treatment but appreciated the meal. read more

Never left a review even though I've came to this place multiple times. I worked here while in my early 20s and waited a while before choosing to leave my review. I came here on a Saturday, January 2. The host had a mask greeted us and asked how many our party was ; it was a party of three we were told to 25 to 35 minute wait-- took our phone number. they advise to wait out on the patio or in your car, due to Covid they are limiting seating in the lobby or availability in the lobby area to cut down on traffic and allow social distancing. We were sat down in about that same time range they told us- our servers name was Jay. Jay was a very good server but he seemed a little OCD by the way he placed the napkins the bread and the cutlery on the table. We ordered the combination appetizer with the mozzarella sticks calamari and mushrooms. The mushrooms were good as per usual the calamari wasn't as seasoned as normal the mozzarella sticks were good however they were a little cold. My two sisters order fettuccine Karaba's with no peas and mushrooms and extra Alfredo sauce; I ordered the lamb chops which were seasonal but still on the menu. I chose not to get an alcoholic beverage this time but I can't say their sangrias are always good. Our food took a little while to come out. We were already slightly full because of the appetizer and the salad. The mint sauce for the lamb chops was really good they are fettuccine came out the way they asked for it ....we eventually got our checks )which took a little while to come out ) however our server Jay boxed our food for us and got our to-go desserts. I forgot to get initial pictures of the lot of the images are scraps or empty plates . Overall the service was good the food was decent. I know the chef Luis I did not see him in the kitchen.... but I used to love coming on the days he worried because the food was always above and beyond. This is the only Carabbas on the south side the closest is Marietta so if you're craving carabba's this one is worth going to. read more

The bar was littered with dirty dishes. The bartender was missing. Our drinks arrived late after we finished our appetizer. Our salads arrived after our entrees were served. Our Chicken Marsala was dry and without any wine sauce. This is the worst Carrabba's . A manager asked how our meal was . I told her everything that had happened. Carrabba's is one of my favorite Italian restaurants on the South-side and a place for week night dinner. Chain eatery & bar serving a diverse menu of classic Italian fare in a family-friendly setting. Truly tasty food with a variety of dishes to please any, even the pickiest of diners. Great place to bring your family to eat an awesome dinner. Ample free parking in front and around the restaurant. The menu is good, love the bread and a dipping sauce service is excellent. Their house salad with Parmesan and ceaser dressing is so good. I love that they brought out fresh hot bread and kept the drinks flowing. I also had a Blackberry and Peach Sangria, that were absolutely delicious. Fettuccine for dinner was delicious had it topped with shrimp, scallions and basil. I will definitely return and referral our friends and family to this Carrabba's. Worth a try if you are in the area. read more

Arrived at 5:35 pm on a Thursday for dinner (party of 4)...was told it was a 20 minute wait due to lack of servers...no problem. We've been coming to this location for over 15 years...food has always been great! Several issues that need attention: 1.Nowhere to sit while we waited, 2. There were 4 people standing at front desk yet none were trained as servers (their words) and several tables in bar area had not been cleaned. 3. Bartender could not take our drink order as he was "backed up". 4. Most employees on the floor were standing around chatting. After a long drive from Chicago, I ordered Carrabba's delivered to my hotel. It was a solid meal at a reasonable price. I got the eggplant parm, pasta pomodora, asparagus and the Italian salad. I've eaten lunch here a couple of times with my husband and I have to say they are consistent. Consistently awful. Regardless of how busy, or slow, or who's greeting and seating you, you won't get a smile, a hello or any form of acknowledgement aside from an apathetic, "How many?" I don't know why people work here. I've seen arguments break out between the staff in full view of the customers. I've also seen customers go after the staff for no reason. Maybe that's what's happening here. Maybe they're so beaten down that there's no point in trying to be nice because they're going to be attacked by strangers and co-workers. Who knows? Whatever the reason, it's not good. I haven't even mentioned the food yet and frankly I'm not going to bother getting specific. It's fine at best and sometimes it's pretty good. I really only come here because it's the only Italian in the area but I'm finally realising, it's just not worth it. Why do I want to eat in a place where I feel like I have to take my server by the hand, look them in their dead eyes and say, "It's all gonna be okay. You'll be fine."? We won't return. read more

Carrabbas exceed my expectations. Zero complaints. Service was awesome. Friendly staff and no wait. The server was pleasant and fast. It took us no time to get our order. Water came within mins, drinks and food also came at a reasonable pace. The food and drinks perfect. The long island were made perfectly. I ordered the chicken soup along with lobster bite salmon, it was worth the money! Only thing was the salmon was a tad over seasoned but better over than under. Lobster, however, was delicious. The garlic mash was also tasty. Was told chiefs had been there for over 20 years and it shows. I recommend this place! Be prepared to spend about $40 per person (one drink and meal) but it's worth it. This it is an underrated gem in Morrow, Ga. read more

Reviewed the receipt that they put on the bag and it did NOT match the order details from the Uber receipt. I LOVE Carrabba's, but our visit Friday night was awful. We sat in the bar area, rather than wait 30+ minutes for a table. Turns out, we should have waited!! Our server was also the bartender -- he was pleasant, but completely overwhelmed. It took about 15 minutes just to get him to take our order. Salads took another 10 minutes to arrive. Our drinks were served after the salads finally arrived. I had taken about 4 bits of my salad and here was our dinners. The food was very good. I love their Fettuccine Weesie and this was as good as ever. DH had chicken with pasta. He enjoyed his dinner. The place wasn't all that busy, so our server was just inept. From the time we walked in until we left was almost 2 hours -- completely unacceptable. read more
