My wife and I use to frequent Carrabba's when they were in the KC area so tonight we took our kids to their first experience of it. The food was great, the place was clean and easy to get a table. I would've given this place a 4 based off of this but Dylan L was our server and he was easily the best server I've had in a very long time. I just wrote a review for another Carrabba's in Florida. Carrabba's is like my favorite chain Italian restaurant. They are usually spot on. But tonight they blew it. Hot Linguine with cold shrimp and chicken on top. They brought it back to heat up but was still not any good. I was starving and in a hurry so I ate what I could put chicken was just off. I've been there before and I only had one other problem ever cold mozzarella sticks. Anyway I guess not all Carrabba's are created equal. read more

Very disappointed. For years, Carrabas was one of my favorite restaurants. Today I ordered chicken marsala. The flavor was good. But the portions were probably 25% less than 5 years ago. $35 for a 4 oz chicken breast with barely enough sauce to cover the chicken. No wonder restaurants are going out of business read more

Having not been to Carrabba's in over 15 years, we decided to stop in for dinner. Dining with a person with a gluten allergy, extra caution is necessary. We did not experience that on this visit. The server was not educated on food allergies at all and suggested a soup that had noodles. As a result, we ordered salads with our meals and weirdly enough, they both looked very different. One was full of peppers and no onions. The other had extra onions and no peppers. Moving on to the entrees. The chicken parm was overcooked and almost burnt. The cheese was so crispy and dark, it was inedible. The pasta dish was soggy, underdone and drowning in sauce. The chicken atop of it was tough and gamey. We didn't even want to stay for dessert for fear of what disappointment could be sent out next. Will DEFINITELY be going back to the Olive Garden. . I had never been to a carrabba's but my brother and sister in law had many times. Their favorite server was Niko and so when they made reservations, they requested Niko's section and that it was a birthday celebration. When we arrived, not only was Niko not working but they never acknowledged the celebration. Our server was Thomas. He was excellent! We ordered drinks and requested butter when the bread comes out. The butter finally arrived after 3 requests. We had a watermelon vodka basil cocktail that was so good! I ordered the lasagna on my sister in law's suggestion. I also ordered a salad with peppercorn Parmesan dressing. When I opened the napkin to retrieve my silverware, the were gross and dirty. That's the second reason for my dropping a star. We visit Carraba's whenever we're vacationing in the area and we have never been disappointed. The camaraderie among the staff was amazing and definitely contributed to the atmosphere, ambiance and dining experience on this visit. To begin with, Brittany, our server, was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Her pacing of our food was excellent. She also introduced us to Terry, who has been on staff for 25 years. He is definitely a driving force for the front of the house. The Manager (I failed to get her name), was also courteous, friendly, and very visible while we dined. The food was great! The bread with oil & spices is always delicious and so is their salad with house dressing. We also got the Crab Cake appetizer and it was amazing. The tomato chutney had a citrus note that really brought flavor to the dish. For entrees we had the Shrimp & Scallop Pasta in Vodka Sauce (wife) and I had the Pasta & Shrimp Weise. While everything on the menu is good, our Big 3 at Carraba's has been: Vodka, Weise, or Mezzaluna. If you have never visited Carraba's before, I strongly recommend one of those 3 to try. While we usually get the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, the crab cakes are also an excellent choice. If you're in the area, you can't go wrong visiting this establishment. The restaurant was spacious with several areas to dine in. We had a large party dine here and we were assigned multiple servers for our assigned space. Our server was very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Our server brought over baskets of bread and oil. The bread was served warm and was soft. I ended up ordering the ravioli that was made with cheese, chicken and spinach. The ravioli was filling and tasted good. The serving size was large and I had leftovers after I ate. Always good and never disappoints! Often you can find a time for lots of room and attention but even in busy times, the can handle the crowds. Food is fresh and delicious! We love their call ahead or online take out and used it a lot during Covid. One of my favorites is the chicken Marsala with a side of fettuccine with mushrooms. My husband loves their chicken noodle soup and we always get it at take out when someone is getting a cold because it's got all the fresh food stuff in it. It's a big plus that they serve it with their fresh baked Italian bread and throw in a small container of their awesome dipping herbs and olive oil! A great place to remember! read more

Went to North Myrtle Beach location last night with family (four adults two of whom are vegans). The hostess (Stephanie) was very accommodating, even cleaning off a table that we requested. She got us off to a great start as the first Carrabba's representative with whom we came in contact. We had a great meal here our first night in MB. The food is always consistent and good, but the service was outstanding and that's why I'm leaving a review. We had a newer server and she was being shadowed by a young man. They were so on top of it. We had refills before our drinks were empty and they checked on us just enough to not be annoying. This trip was no exception. My daughter and I take a trip, just the two of us once a year. When I found out there was a Carabbas's in Myrtle Beach it was a must!!! Senatra was our server. From the moment we sat down she was not only attentive and gracious, but she anticipated exactly how I wanted my steak when I ordered "The Johnny" She was helpful with my wine selection... we ordered tiramisu to go... and she even packed extra herbs and bread for me to take to my condo. We had dinner tonight and we both ordered the Linguine Primavera and a salad.. My salad came with a parmesan dressing and it was good but my wife's salad came with the wrong dressing and had to be changed. Our entrees were tasteless as the sauce was so thin that it would not stick to the Linguine. It was almost like they had used the pasta water to thin the sauce. The manager brought us lemon butter to add to our pasta for more favor and even brought more of the Primavera sauce but it was just as thin. We didn't add anything. This was the worst Linguine Primavera we have ever eaten. We have been to several Carribba's Italian restaurants and have always enjoyed our meals...but not this one.
