Great food and service. Best place to eat in Myrtle Beach. Don't miss out. Came back twice in three days.

First, this place is much nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. We ordered "The Godfather" and a Margherita Pizza and were blown away. The toppings were fresh, the sauce was amazing, the crust was perfectly cooked. Very attentive and friendly staff. If we lived nearby, we'd definitely come here regularly. The food and the service were amazing!! We popped in around 9:30 pm and hoped the kitchen was still open since the close at 10 pm. Felt a little bad coming in late, but they happily accommodated us. There were still a couple other parties dining so we quickly ordered so as not to hold up their closing time. We were so focused on dining quickly that we forgot to take pics of our food! The complimentary bread was hot and fresh plus the herbed olive oil was delicious!! Mozzarella sticks were great as well. We ordered the chicken parmesan with a side of fettuccine alfredo and both were sooo good! The chicken came with 2 large pieces of chicken, plenty to share! We ordered a pizza one of the specials on the menu. We had meatballs and bread for appetizers. The food was delicious. The olive oil on the crust of the pizza just set it off. 1/26- I've raved abt this place in the past EXCEPT this time. Happy hr is (4-7p) bar area only. All the bar stools were taken so we grabbed an available high top. Server rushed over to tell us "high top seating are NOT included in HH. Our options are stand, wait for a seat @ bar or eat in dinning room." Huh? There's 4 of us. It's Friday night. We plan on eating, drinking, having a good time. Are you kidding me? It's not like the HH discounts a huge, we're talking a fee bucks. In town for a wedding. Five of us came here for dinner 2 days before the wedding and are glad that we did! Food was great. Portions were large. Service was friendly and prompt. If we ever come back to Myrtle Beach, I would gladly eat here again. read more

When God has a plan and you keep ignoring it, he gets you to listen. We walked past this spot 3-4x & i can honestly say i tossed some shade because it says NY style pizza. We decided to go elsewhere for dinner and the place was closed so we walked here. We are so happy that we actually did. Marco was great and walked us through the menu. The food was really good as i got the chicken parm & the bride got herself a calzone w spinach. The servings were not for the faint of heart. Food was really good and the ambiance was awesome. This is an update to my original review. We've been going to this fabulous Italian restaurant for a number of years and it keeps on getting better. I'm Sicilian and was raised on homemade Italian cuisine. That and spending most of my time living and working in the NYC area I know Italian food. This hidden gem is one of the best Italian restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. It's owned by a dedicated couple whose standards are unsurpassed which are also demonstrated by their staff. The chef is one of the owners which demonstrates why the meals are consistently excellent. I've had just about everything they serve and have always enjoyed the meals. Lately they've offered an option to their entrees, instead of being served with pasta they give you a vegetable dish. It's not your typical vegetable medley, it's an over the top combination of mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, thin strips of onions, with red and green peppers. They all come alive in the sauce mage with herbs and light garlic in a base of olive oil. Little Italy's pasta sauces are always delicious. For me why have pasta that will fill you up when you could balance your meal with this light vegetable dish and leave room for one of their delicious desserts. The real hero was my entree which was Shrimp Carbonara. Fresh butterflied shrimp in their rich sauce. If you want a fantastic, very reasonable priced Italian dinner Little Italy is the place to go, bring your family and friends they will leave with a smile on their faces and a delicious meal in their tummies. Below is my original review. We stopped in Little Italy for their gluten free pizza but were surprised to find a restaurant instead of a pizzeria. They had a wide variety pizza but their menu was very interesting and inexpensive. My girlfriend ordered the Veal Piccata because it came with gluten free pasta. I asked Marco our waiter about a few of the dishes and he recommended the homemade lasagna. My girlfriend had the fresh side salad and I ordered the Italian Wedding Soup. She enjoyed her salad but the soup was fantastic, seasoned just right. The veal was tender and smothered with a delicious sauce with mushrooms. The gluten free pasta was the best my girlfriend ever had. The lasagna was over the top, actually the best I've had since I've been down here. The service was excellent, Marco was more than accommodating and stopped by our table frequently to see if we needed anything. The servings are large enough to take some home to enjoy again. Called and placed a take out order. The man on the phone read me back the order. Everything he read me was correct. When I got to the restaurant, they left off my sisters pizza. When I asked if they could make it, they said it would take 30 minutes. What pizza takes THIRTY minutes to make? Especially when you are the one who messed it up.....you should have rushed it in. Then once we get the food...the pizza wasn't great...not enough cheese at all. The pasta was mid. The cannolis were mid. The food was outstanding. The pizza was genuinely kid approved, which is no small win, and the full menu gave my husband and me excellent options beyond pizza. What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. The staff delivered some of the best service I have experienced in years. My family is here for a vacation, and my dad wanted to go here. Our server, a beautiful young woman named Krysten I believe (sorry if I'm wrong) was the perfect server! She was kind and cheerful, checked on us plenty, refilled our drinks without us asking, even made sure to warn my youngest sister multiple times that her plate was hot and asked if she wanted her pizza out on another plate that wasn't hot. Our food was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! 4 of us got pizzas, and my mother ( a chef herself) got chicken Alfredo and everyone was very impressed! My middle sister has an obsession with making pizza from scratch weekly, so we know our way around pizza, and Little Italy's was simple amazing. I'm sad that I don't live nearby, because I would never eat at any other Italian restaurant. We also got five desserts to go, and our server asked us if we wanted utensils to go, and showed us different pizza box options for our leftovers. She even was kind enough to offer to take a picture of our family infront of the beautiful mural on their wall. Our favorite Italian spot was not available, so we decided to try this place since the reviews seemed positive. It is off season so the place was only about 50-60% occupied. No one at the hostess stand so we stood there for 3-5 minutes to be seated. After being seated it was another 5-10 minutes before our waitress arrived and took our drink orders which came out quickly since we both chose water. Another 10 minute wait before waitress took our orders. I chose Alfredo with chicken, wife chose chicken Parmigiano. Bread was made in house, was not fully baked and nothing special, and only a very meager amount was provided for 2 people, not really that big a deal because it was not something either of us enjoyed. After finishing our salads, we waited at least 30 minutes before our meals arrived (the couple seated next to us came in a half hour after us and their meals came out at the same time). The wife said her meal was good, my Alfredo was bland with very little cheese flavor. At our regular spot salad, soup, bread and even brushetta were included with the meal, here everything was extra except the bread. To sum up the experience.......the service was very slow, food was just ok, lacks ambiance, charges extra for everythng, means this is not somewhere we plan to return to. Our regular Italian place blows this place out of the water. They also charge 4% for using a credit card, the highest we have seen in the area. read more

The best bruschetta I've ever had!!! - Great staff members - we nicknamed our server "Shuffles" because he wears clogs and shuffles his feet when he walks. Craving for Italian so I picked this place. I should've read the reviews. Just like many reviews that were recent. I feel the same. Opted for their spaghetti Bolognese which is a classic. I would spent hrs making it at home. So it's my go too. Yet this didn't touch my spot at all. Many bolognese I have ordered before are meaty and comfort. Yet this is taken over by the acidity of the tomatoes. And not much flavor of anything else. I don't think it's a meat sauce either because I don't see it nor taste it.
