Absolutely fantastic! We walked in with our 2 year old and our waitress Marissa made us feel right at home (even though we initially worried that it may be too fancy a place for a toddler). The pizza, salad, and pasta were INCREDIBLE. My husband had the linguine with muscles in a lemon sauce, and it was amazing. We also had the homemade tiramisu---highly recommend. Visited Vicini's last night to pick up takeout pizza, salad and deserts. Renee was extremely helpful with describing their pizza options when ordering. Upon arrival Renee poured me a glass of Chianti while I waited. Once back at our room, the four of us thoroughly enjoyed sharing the oversized house salad, the Bianca pie with spinach and the pepperoni/green pepper pizza. The deserts (cannoli, tiramisu and chocolate moose) were a great finish to the meal. 3 1/2 stars leaning towards 4. We went to Vincini's to try them out for the first time. We like to try different places to narrow down favorites in each cuisine. The restaurant is small but comfortable. Our server, Grace, was pleasant and attentive. We ordered the veal marsala and veal parmesan meals. Sliced Italian bread basket was served along with my house salad and a vegetable soup. All were good. We ordered a pizza to go as well, so we can try a slice later. Overall it was a good experience. It's wasn't the best Italian meal but far from the worst we've had locally. Will try again to make a better comparison. read more

The restaurant has great low lighting which created a warm atmosphere. The soft Italian music was a nice touch. Our waitress, Grace, was helping, knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious and that's a huge compliment coming from an Italian New Yorker who cooks all the dishes in the menu. The dish came out different from how I would prepare it BUT delicious nonetheless. Different is okay as long as it tastes good and everything did. I wish I was eating at Vicini's right now... Wow. We were blown away by our meals here. We went in expecting good food based on the positive reviews and photos online. Vicini's far exceeded our expectations, and has become our go-to dinner spot in Myrtle Beach. We ended up eating here 2 nights in a row (it would have been 3, but we had to travel home). Vicini's may be small and intimate, but it's still comfortable, cozy, and welcoming inside. It has just the right lighting and music you'd want while dining in an Italian restaurant. We immediately felt at home, and the staff (several of them being in the Vicini family, including the chefs) reinforced this feeling. Many of the other patrons had reservations or seemed like regulars, and one couple even asked to meet the chefs because the food was so good. During our 2 nights here, our group tried the penne chicken alfredo, the penne marinara, pizzas (cheese and pepperoni), and tiramisu. Everyone was impressed and loved their meal. The marinara sauce was unique while still having a classic taste, and the pizza is officially one of the best I've ever had - great sauce, delicious cheese, and a perfectly crispy crust (we ordered ours well done). I love that they serve both baked ziti and manicotti, and I can't wait to try those next time. Too many Italian restaurants no longer have baked pastas or classic red sauce dishes on the menu, and I am thrilled that Vicini's does! My group was also very grateful that Coke products are served, as many places have recently switched to something else. We do wish they offered a slightly bigger selection of appetizers and/or a different type of house bread, but the main courses, the ambiance, and the warm service more than make up for that. We are so very happy to have found Vicini's, and we will recommend it to anyone seeking a truly good, memorable dining experience in Myrtle Beach. read more

Where to start? Phenomenal food and service! We stopped by Vicini's after searching for a traditional pizza spot on yelp and we're SO GLAD we did! We got a margherita pizza and a cheese pizza and they were both excellent. Authentic Italian taste and cooked in a brick oven. It's obvious the ingredients are fresh and well done. The cheese was delish, the tomato sauce was super fresh and authentic and the crust was excellent with the perfect texture and crunch. We got the tiramisu and cannoli for dessert and they were also incredible! We had a cannoli that blew our minds years ago in Boston and have been searching for a cannoli as good ever since - we found its rival at Vicini's. It has a cold custard-like filling, not the overly sweet, icing-like filling a lot of cannolis have. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and we'll have to try the limoncello tiramisu next time we're in town. The service was as amazing as the food! Mario was our server and was very attentive, kind, and helpful with questions. It was clear he takes pride in his work and the restaurant itself. It was lovely meeting him. Seriously top notch service - he's definitely an asset to the restaurant. We sat outside with our kiddos since it was such a nice day and the tables were all very clean and cute with checkered red tablecloths and little vases of flowers. The inside was very cozy and ambient. Low lighting and a great spot to have delicious food, a glass of wine, and great conversation. We loved hearing the story of the owner and how the restaurant came to be. You can tell that every aspect of the restaurant is done with a lot of care and intention. You leave not just feeling like you had a great meal but also that you dined at a gem of a local family restaurant. read more

Ordered two pizzas, one large extra cheese and pepperoni, another with crumbled bacon and pineapple. Both were exceptional, the undercarriage was perfect, barely a flop, and the toppings were all delicious. We wanted good pizza, we instead got great pizza, instead of getting a fast food pizza that you can have anywhere back home, i definitely recommend grabbing a few box's from here. We were greeted as we walked in the door and we're seated quickly. Dining room was very clean and nice decor. Chicken on the chicken piccata tasted like it was boiled, not much seasoning on it, otherwise pasta was cooked well. The tiramisu was good but due to the amount of chocolate syrup on the plate the chocolate syrup was overpowering the flavor of the tiramisu. Cappuccino was very bitter. The service was VERY slow. Although they were nice, they did not even an acknowledge us for quite a while. We were very excited to order really good pizza. WRONG!! Out of EVERY table in the restaurant (they all ordered pizza) ours was the only one burned. Everyone else had golden brown pizza crust - ours was black/brown. Horrible. We had a lovely time at Vicini's celebrating my birthday. The waitress was attentive and friendly with good recommendations for food and drinks. The food was served in a timely manner and was yummy. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and the vodka penne with tiramisu for dessert and their processco to drink. I would eat here again :) I liked adding crushed red peppers to the vodka penne and I thought the portions were enough to share. We are not from the area and while searching on Yelp for a pizza place, I came across this place, we actually had already passed it by miles, but something was pulling me towards it! Sooo happy we turned around. Greeted so nicely by everyone. Our waitress was Sophia, super sweet! We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, change the bacon for jalapeños, and ordered the lasagna and the house salad. We're vegetarian with a few dietary restrictions today, and the only pizza that fits our needs is the "Veggie" pizza. It's a no-cheese pizza, so I didn't have high expectations. But I can sum it up in one word: "AMAZING." I have to highlight how excellent the pizza base's texture and flavor are. Also, it features eggplant, which is a bit different from your usual pizza. We had been told by other families we met at our hotel this was a great place to eat, and they were right. Great service and friendly staff. Between the 5 of us we had pizza which our kids said was one of the best they have ever had. The veal parm was great and much bigger portion than expected. My wife had the lobster ravioli which again was fantastic. The costs are much lower than alot of the more mainstream b restaurants in MB and great value for what we paid. This Italian restaurant has a lot food choices done right. We started with salads. The Greek which I took a picture of was fresh. The vegetables were crisp and the dressing had a wonderful tang to it. We also had a shrimp Caesar salad and caprese salad. The caprese needed one more piece of mozzarella to make it an equal ratio of tomato to cheese, but it was still good. They also brought a bread plate with oil to dip it in. The pizza here is a real winner. The cheese was perfect and so was the crust. My only complaint is that I ordered jalapeño peppers and was given green peppers. Although she offered to fix the pizza in the end she still charged me for the green peppers. This place is a little hole in the wall in a plaza. It is certainly worth checking out. read more
