Our family wandered away from our resort for some good food, and I'm so glad I ended up here. We got cheese pizza for the kiddos and they loved it. We had a few slices that we could take back to the resort for later. We had the mussels in the Chardonnay wine sauce and that sauce was amazing. I kept ordering extra bread to dip into it. My meal was the linguine shrimp Alfredo. I felt a bit basic ordering it but it was honestly the best Alfredo sauce I had ever had. Buttery and creamy and yummy. Vicini's is our favorite Italian restaurant and we always try to go multiple times when we're down here. The mussels with red sauce never disappoint, and even though they took the Caprese salad off the menu, they'll still prepare it by request. One of the best in Myrtle Beach! Tomatoes are so sweet, and I love their choice of balsamic vinegar. My wife loves their pizza, and after trying other places, she loves the pizza at Vicini's the best. Lastly, I have to say they are the nicest, kindest people, and it never feels forced. We've tried our share of Italian restaurants down here, and many are glorified pizza places who also sell some basic americanized Italian food, but Vicini's is a quality Italian restaurant that also makes excellent pizza. read more

We got takeout here on a weekday night. Just had cheese pizza, a Greek salad, and limoncello cake. They had the food done in 15 mins. This was basic fare, so there is not a whole lot to say. The salad was fresh with a good variety of vegetables. The pizza was flavorful. The cake was very good--just the right amount of richness and sweetness without overdoing it. I was only in the physical restaurant for a few minutes. It was tiny with a very intimate feel. This would probably be a good place for a date. read more

Got to return here in June, now I'm counting down the days until I can come back next month. Vicini's is great. The staff is very nice and attentive, the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant is exactly what you need after a day on the beach, and the food is so, so good. We still haven't strayed from our favorites because they're just too tempting (pizzas and the alfredo), but maybe next month I'll try a red sauce pasta. We loaded up take-home pizzas in the cooler for our out-of-state drive back home. Family that ate it leftover still thought it was the best pizza they've ever had. Visited Vicini's last night to pick up takeout pizza, salad and deserts. Renee was extremely helpful with describing their pizza options when ordering. Upon arrival Renee poured me a glass of Chianti while I waited. Once back at our room, the four of us thoroughly enjoyed sharing the oversized house salad, the Bianca pie with spinach and the pepperoni/green pepper pizza. The deserts (cannoli, tiramisu and chocolate moose) were a great finish to the meal. Next time I visit, I plan to dine in as the restaurant atmosphere was inviting and the menu covers all the Italian options. read more

The restaurant is small but comfortable. Our server, Grace, was pleasant and attentive. We ordered the veal marsala and veal parmesan meals. Sliced Italian bread basket was served along with my house salad and a vegetable soup. All were good. We ordered a pizza to go as well, so we can try a slice later. Overall it was a good experience. Where to start? Phenomenal food and service! We stopped by Vicini's after searching for a traditional pizza spot on yelp and we're SO GLAD we did! We got a margherita pizza and a cheese pizza and they were both excellent. Authentic Italian taste and cooked in a brick oven. It's obvious the ingredients are fresh and well done. The cheese was delish, the tomato sauce was super fresh and authentic and the crust was excellent with the perfect texture and crunch. We got the tiramisu and cannoli for dessert and they were also incredible! We had a cannoli that blew our minds years ago in Boston and have been searching for a cannoli as good ever since - we found its rival at Vicini's. It has a cold custard-like filling, not the overly sweet, icing-like filling a lot of cannolis have. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and we'll have to try the limoncello tiramisu next time we're in town. The service was as amazing as the food! Mario was our server and was very attentive, kind, and helpful with questions. It was clear he takes pride in his work and the restaurant itself. It was lovely meeting him. Seriously top notch service - he's definitely an asset to the restaurant. We sat outside with our kiddos since it was such a nice day and the tables were all very clean and cute with checkered red tablecloths and little vases of flowers. The inside was very cozy and ambient. Low lighting and a great spot to have delicious food, a glass of wine, and great conversation. We loved hearing the story of the owner and how the restaurant came to be. You can tell that every aspect of the restaurant is done with a lot of care and intention.
