We stopped by Toscana with our two little girls, and we were dressed very casually. I honestly felt a little underdressed when we walked in, but the owner immediately welcomed us in and was so warm and friendly. We felt comfortable right away. We kept it simple with a pizza, salad, and wine, and everything was really good. What made the experience extra special was how kind and thoughtful the owner was. After dinner, she surprised my girls with a little treat, and they absolutely loved it. Such a warm, welcoming experience. 10/10 -- we'll definitely be back!
It's the cutest little Italian restaurant close to the beach. I appreciated the decor and how they tried to make you feel like it was Italy. The service was great! The owner/chef was so sweet and took so much pride in providing delicious food and great service. The start by giving you bread with oil. However, the put a twist on the oil and it has tomatoes and seasoning. Very delicious, I could eat it all day long. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. Very delicious and presentation was beautiful! Probably one of the best bruschetta's I've eaten. For the main course we ordered the ravioli and lasagna. You can definitely tell it was authentic and made with love! Everyone was so sweet and they surprised us with a dessert! The lava cake was so soft and the perfect balance of sweet. The ice cream tasted like vanilla bean with a little caramel drizzle. Perfection!!! Love love love! I highly recommend!
The restaurant is cute. It has a long bar with a nice size restaurant with white tablecloth and table lamps, giving it a nice atmosphere. I had a sugar cookie martini with pasta and it was amazing. The service was super. Mama came out of the kitchen to check that everything was great. And it was.
The most tender chicken parmigiana you'll ever eat! Great food with good portions! The atmosphere sets itself apart from most Italian eateries in the area. From decor to music to lighting, a great place for any occasion!
We had a wonderful meal at this Italian spot. Found it online and saw some great reviews. I was able to jump online and make reservations through Open Table. When we arrived the restaurant was crowded but our table was ready! It had low bluish lighting for a more intimate feel. There is a small bar area and then a group of tables in another part of the restaurant. I'd say it's on the small side but could fit a good number of tables. Service was excellent, our waiter and other staff were very attentive and friendly. I had to ask for a kids menu but they offered fettuccine Alfredo, chicken tenders, etc. We ordered the chicken piccata, Marsala, and two chicken Alfredo pasta. The adult meals came with a salad and we upgrade to Caesar. The salads were a great starter size - not too large and a traditional Caesar dressing. When food arrive the portions were great and everything looked and smelled amazing. A great family friendly restaurant with a large Italian menu, would recommend.
We were super lucky to find this gem of a restaurant in Myrtle Beach! My husband and I arrived in town after 8:30 on a Sunday night. Not much was open and we were hungry; so we started walking in the direction of bright lights on King's Highway. The first 2 places we passed were already closed; and then we came across Toscana Italian Kitchen. It was a cute Italian restaurant with a cozy bar and dining room decorated with murals and greenery. We had a super friendly server, (I wish I could remember her name,) who quickly approached us and took our drink orders. I ordered the chicken picatta, ($24.95,) which was absolutely fabulous! The chicken was pounded thin and flavorful with lemon slices and capers. It was served over pasta and I totally loved the whole meal....,plus it was a big enough portion that I could take home half for lunch the next day! My husband had the shrimp risotto, ($29.95.). He said the shrimp were delicious and he really liked his meal. He had left overs too. Plus both meals came with a side salad that was scrumptious! We were really lucky that we found Toscana Italian Kitchen. It is worth a visit if you're in Myrtle Beach. There are so many Italian restaurants around, but this one is something special!
This is the one of only two things in Myrtle Beach I would come back for! OK to be fair, it wasn't that bad. I'm just not a beach person and I certainly don't like the heat so when I was talked into going for a quick girls trip in July I wasn't thinking straight. When we pulled into the parking lot, our first thought was that this could not possibly be the place everyone was raving about. Stepped through the doors and the ambience hits immediately. This is a nice place! It was packed and we didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar for a few minutes. I ordered the Italian sunrise martini. Oh my goodness that was good. Very quickly, we were taken to our little table and seated across from an older woman who obviously worked there. Turns out she was if I remember correctly the owner and proudly told us how she loved to cook and a little bit of her history. It was very enjoyable to sit there and talk with her. We started out by sharing the absolutely delicious and generously portion size bruschetta. It was fabulous. Probably the best I've ever had. Next came some simple Caesar salad salads, which were dressed just right. My gf ordered the chicken Parmesan and I ordered the chicken Caprese. So so so good! My GF said her chicken Parmesan was a little heavy on the cheese, but to me personally you can't have too much cheese so that was a plus in my book. We both left happy with full tummies and plenty of leftovers for dinner the next night.
OK, here's an update to my review. Last night, my plane got delayed and I decided to go to Toscana Italian kitchen again. I got a seat at the bar and ordered everything but the toasted ravioli from last time, because I knew I didn't have any help and I wouldn't be able to finish it all. Spaghetti and meatballs, with the choice of salad or soup. I went with the soup. It was a tomato soup and it was quite tasty, tomato basil. I ran into the owner Vinny and told him how much I enjoyed my last visit. Vinny and his mom, who comes in and greets people, do it the right way. They are local people with a local restaurant and they fix everything from scratch. You can tell. Once again, everything was awesome. I can't say enough about how good this place is. Do yourself a favor, go local, go to this wonderful little Italian place with a lot of heart and enjoy a great dinner. It's not often that I hit a restaurant a couple times in a few days and they really deserve it. I will definitely be hitting this place next time I'm in from Ohio.
Toscana is definitely a VIBE. My wife and I went last night for dinner, and most say, the experience there was amazing... The moment we walked in we was seated for our reservation time. She was very nice. It really nice, laid back low light ambiance. Our waitress(KAT) was on her game. Her patience, her being informative about the menu help me and my wife make a great decision on food, and Wine. We felt very welcomed. Once we got our food, it was amazing. Very fresh, and hot straight to the table. Thanks to the kitchen. Also, there was an older lady walking by asking us is everything okay and how the experience so far. She was very nice. We really enjoyed Kat as our waitress and the conversation about Life afterwards made it more comfortable. She's a good person. Thank KAT and everyone who helped make our experience very very wonderful. We will revisit in the future. Thank you Tocana
Our server, Kat was so welcoming, kind and attentive. The family that owns the building truly uphold this place with their backbone and they were killing it in the kitchen. The food was perfect. The mama came to check on us and that added a more personable experience to the night for our party. The restaurant is so beautiful, we decided to return again at some point before our short trip here to visit, is over. Everything is made with such attention and care that I can't imagine anyone having an unpleasant experience here. We can't wait to come see them again.
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner during a long weekend at the beach. The food, atmosphere and service was all excellent. We were immediately greeted upon arrival. Service was prompt. The servers were polite and helpful. The restaurant has low lighting, but lights at each table so it is not too dark. They keep the restraunt clean and neatly decorated. The booth provided semi-privacy from other patrons. I had the penne vodka and my boyfriend had the Tuscan chicken. The entrees came with salads and bread. And we shared the chocolate mouse cheesecake for dessert. Everything was made in house, even the salad dressing. The entrees were the perfect temperature and absolutely everything was delicious. And surprisingly nothing felt too heavy.

Great Italian food spot in Myrtle Beach. The food was delicious and tasted freshly made. We tried all kind of different things including Tuscan Burrata, CHICKEN SCARPARIELLO, and Tuscan Pizza every thing was excellent. Although the prices are decent, the quality and flavor of the food definitely made it worth it. The restaurant it has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back to try more of their Italian dishes. Definitely worth checking out! read more

We got recommended to try this restaurant by a family friend and we were not disappointed. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant.Their moscato wine was refreshing and espresso martini was the perfect mix of creaminess and coffee flavor. Their creamy tomato soup was very rich and homemade Italian dressing was some of the best I have ever had. All of the entrees that we got were amazing. They included penne alla vodka with chicken, Tuscany chicken, and veal saltimbocca. We also got a complimentary tiramisu and my husband said it was one of the best desserts he has ever had out at a restaurant. Our server Ariana was very attentive and the service was impeccable. As my husband would say "don't judge a book by its cover". We have passed by the restaurant who knows how many times in the 8 years we've lived in the Carolinas and NEVER stopped in......until last night! To say it was amazing truly does not describe the experience! This family owned and run restaurant serves up delicious, authentic and homemade Italian! Every item was made with love and served with the same love! Mama was walking around checking to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals and their experience. We were SO glad she chose to sit and chat with us for a few about her dedication to her food and family! She graced us with the most delicate tiramisu I've ever eaten in my life! Then before we could leave, she walked us into the kitchen to meet her son and grandson who were cooking her amazing recipes! We WILL be visiting Toscana every time we are in town!! read more

From the moment we arrived we had a wonderful experience. Food was excellent with large portions and great service. Atmosphere was inviting with table top lightning. The menu is very reasonably priced. We did not have to wait and they were not too busy to attend to all customers. We had the Toasted baked ravioli and it was excellent as one appetizer. The bread with oil and vinegar was free for the first 2 then it is a charge. However it was so good we order extra. We ordered the chicken Marcelo and split it, and it was more than enough. There is an up charge for splitting the meal, but you get an extra salad with it. The owner came out to check on us and was really thankful for our patronage. Thanking us several times for coming in. Overall I highly recommend. read more
