We went to have spaghetti bolognese for my husband and a salad for me. Our food came and we had to ask for silverware. My salad came with no dressing on it or with it. I told waitress... she returned with a new salad, after a long wait that looked great.. had various veggies on it that were not even on the prior salad! We had to order more bolognese sauce also since the sauce was scant. Overall impression... staff stretched too thin with too many tables and consistently is a problem with quality. read more

Always good food especially steaks and seafood! My fav is the shrimp scallop dish... and lasagna dish! But the best ever is the lemon cello bread, pudding dessert! Only in the spring but they need to leave it on the menu year round! I would go there just to get that!!! read more

We decided to have dinner out on this evening and chose Carrabba's because we had $50 in gift cards. When we arrived it was very busy. Upon entering we were greeted with a smile and a question, "would you like indoor or outdoor seating?" We elected outdoor, it was a very nice evening. Our server (who was very professional) introduced himself, Xander J is his name, and he took our drink orders. When the drinks arrived he explained all our dinner options and then took our order. My wife ordered the 16 ounce Ribeye steak with Asparagus and I ordered the Pollo Rosa Maria with Broccoli. Our food arrived piping hot and was absolutely EXCELLENT. We were very happy with the food and the service. However, in my opinion, the price for 2 people dining out, which was $100 - is just too expensive - for a night out. Nothing more to add, other than I like this chain -- or I should say I like their chicken marsala. What a gem! We have had meals there on different occasions, and have been remiss in taking the time to give a proper review. The restaurant itself is well appointed, a variety of seating options, including outside. Bar area was ample and lots of open seating. Greeted with a smile and service always very attentive. We have ordered a variety of offerings from the menu, so would be hard to "recommend" just one. We have utilized the happy hour menu as a "sampler" for the bigger entrees later. The owner is a true Venice community supporter and today he was hosting his first "fundraiser" for the Venice High School FBLA Club. He indicated he has numerous community fundraisers booked for the future. The FBLA high school students were present to serve, and did a great job. And the lunch was scrumptious and filling! We have been to other Carrabba's restaurants in other cities, but I will say that this location, and its owner, are definitely ahead of the others! read more
