    Cannoli and fruit tart...

Amazing service Molly was helping us. She was very kind and sweet to my kids. Gave my kids stickers. Make them feel very happy. This is our first time here. If we come to this area again. We would be here again. Such a great service.

Alright Carrara's... You got me.... Twice!! Let me explain On June 14th 2025, after having an amazing dinner at Two Doughs Pizza located within the same shopping plaza, we decided to walk around the Whizin Market Square to walk off our meal. Besides the multiple eateries in the Square, they also have some really fun, eclectic shops where you can find some really neat gifts and/or some really cool finds for your home. While walking through the shops... There. It. Was. Carrara's Pastries. And although I don't normally have a sweet tooth, my wife & kids Always do! So we decided to check it out. And despite my mouth not having a sweet tooth, apparently my eyes do, because as soon as my eyes saw the amazing desserts behind their glass case, I too now wanted, no needed, a dessert of my own. So after perusing their delicious selection... A Frittelle for me... A Red Velvet Cake with fresh berries for my kids... And a Tiramisù sponge cake for my wife. And if you don't think I ordered a cappuccino to go with my pastry, then you just don't know me at all! For a moment there... I felt like we were transported right back to Italy. It reminded me of this little pastry/coffee shop that we went to in Florence right near the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella. Now I say, If a little pastry shop located in Agoura Hills, California can resemble a shop located in Florence, Italy approximately 7,000 miles away, I think they are doing something right. Each dessert was perfectly perfect! Not too sweet and was the perfect serving size to satisfy that sweet tooth that apparently I do have. And now, just a little over a month later, it was time to write my review for Carrara's Pastries. Here is where they got me again! Before writing my review, I looked at what Carrara's stated on their 'from the business' section on Yelp. Their sentiment, their love for what they do and their absolute appreciation for their customers is what makes them stand out from the rest. I love a mom & pop business for this very reason! They do what they do because they have a vision, and that vision is not always about just making a profit or even breaking even. It's often about sharing their passion, their craft, their specialty with the world. To this I say, Bravo to Carrara's Pastries for chasing that dream and doing it wholeheartedly with love. In my book, you are representing the Motherland and making all of the Italian Grandmas proud! Ciao!

I absolutely love this place. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and no matter what time you stop by--day or night--they're fully stocked, and everything is freshly made. My all-time favorite treat is the shortbread cookie filled with Nutella and Rice Krispies. They are seriously addictive. The cookie dough is soft and flaky, and the generous filling of Nutella combined with the crispy texture from the Rice Krispies creates the perfect bite. I usually buy a whole box, and they stay soft for at least a week. Even though I live miles away, I'll gladly make the trip just for these cookies. They also offer a wide selection of pastries and desserts, all of which look absolutely delicious.

I discovered this place at least 10 years ago at their first location in Moorpark. Their cakes have always been consistent! They truly have the best cakes, especially their tiramisu and Velina!!! You can't go wrong here. Highly, highly recommend!

Picked up some cannoli & fruit tarts to go. They always put it in the beautiful boxes- which makes presentation so much better. It's a smaller location than the moorpark one, but the pastries are the same. They have indoor and outdoor seating in the plaza. Service was quick which made it a fast visit. Parking- shared parking lot with other businesses

Fritelle and Bigne with a pot of tea - the best!!

I dream of CARRARA's PASTRIES in Agoura Hills often due to the most delicious treat of all: FRITELLE!! These sugary balls of heaven (fried dough bread) are filled with their chantilly cream. They remind me so much of malasadas from Hawaii, except they are served chilled, which surprisingly, still tastes incredibly fresh!!! When malasadas cool down, you'll discover how much oil they hold! But these, THESE FRITELLEs, are none other than chef's kiss!! I've also enjoyed their mini fruit tarts and Bigne's! The bignes are similar to coco puffs from Liliha Bakery! Yeah I know...another comparison to a Hawai'i treat, but I can't help it. If I can't be on the island to enjoy those treats, the next best thing is visiting Carrara's Pastries in Agoura Hills, CA! There is such a variety of Italian pastries here. The other night we enjoyed a Fritelle and Bigne with a small pot of hot tea onsite. Customer service was excellent as always and the ambiance provides a warm and inviting space to relax and wind down from the daily challenges that work or life might bring. I really love this Italian Cafe. It's such a gem!! If you order pastries to go, the pink box they are packaged in is adorable. I'm always finding ways to repurpose these!!

    They're all so good!

I came here with my platonic male friend who is super sweet and treated me to a dinner and pastries in his city. It was totally worth the drive in traffic. I love mom and Pop type of bakery shops like this with a great vibe, cozy, warm feel and delicious pastries and so many to choose from! Service was great too! My favorite was the to go boxes they put it in so pretty! You've got to check out this cute plaza it's a hidden gem.

Delicious desserts and the cutest little café! This place is such a gem. The café is cozy, charming, and the perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend. The desserts were absolutely delicious--fresh, beautifully made! Staff were warm and welcoming and service was excellent! I'll definitely be back.

I just called this place because I noticed a $5.01 tip charge! I clicked "skip" when paying, so I was like, what the heck?! The lady said they'll refund the money and that it's not the first time this has happened. And get this -- it wasn't even a sit-down restaurant, it's a store! #ScamAlert #CheckYourReceipts #Overcharged #StayAware #CustomerService #NotCool #RefundPlease

I love coming to Carrara's to end my evening with a nice drink and something sweet to eat. Carrara's Pastries offers fantastic desserts, cookies, and hot and cold beverages. I love their hot Chai or the Tumeric Latte and usually pair it with their yummy cream puffs! They also have ready made pastries available for purchase. Everything is delicious in there! Seating is limited inside, but so far I have been lucky to find seats with my family. My only complaint is during my last 2 visits, my latte was not hot enough. So, make sure you ask them to heat the milk enough before serving the latte.

Trilogia is similar to a triple chocolate mousse cake

The best triple chocolate mousse cake called Trilogia in the area. Delicious, elegant and... gluten free! It comes in a fancy box to impress. I don't live around here but had to buy a celebratory cake for my manager, they did not disappoint.

Delicious desserts that taste so fresh! although i live nearby coming into this shop and the plaza it's in feels like I'm on vacation somewhere visiting the hot spot in the area! We had the cannoli, strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu and all 3 were tasty! And not too sweet- which I personally like more

    Great selection of pastries.

It's tucked away in an unassuming corner with a relaxed outdoor seating area next to a fountain that somehow makes the whole experience feel even better. The flavor lineup balanced classics with more creative combinations, and honestly, everything looked like a home run. Service was good and the gelato itself absolutely delivered Parking? Lot I had: Blackberry Mascarpone (5/5): This was killer. The blackberry brought a deep, jammy sweetness while the mascarpone added this rich, fatty creaminess that rounded everything out beautifully. It tasted layered and balanced instead of just sweet for the sake of being sweet. The kind of flavor that makes you immediately start debating whether getting another scoop is irresponsible or completely justified The Elvis (5/5): Elvis knew what he was doing. Banana, chocolate, and peanut butter sounds like it could go off the rails fast, but this combo absolutely worked. The banana actually tasted real instead of artificial candy flavoring, which immediately elevated the whole thing. Rich, nostalgic, slightly over the top in the best possible way. A genuinely great gelato flavor

This was the closest location, and a perfect spot to hang out for a while longer. After scoring our small gelatos, we headed out to sit in the sunshine adjacent to the fountain out front. It was just warm enough to be pleasant, and the wind mostly behaved by not chasing napkins away on the breeze. Since I had to give up dairy a few years ago, it's such a pleasure to be able to count on Tifa for having three to four flavors each day without it. The little tea wafers they add to the gelato are delightful for their delicate flavor and flaky texture. Whoever does the hiring for their shops seems to do a great job of finding friendly employees who display warmth in their welcoming greetings. I understand that the real estate prices at this center must be expensive, but it's a shame that the indoor space here is very tight. A number of the other Tifa locations have more elbow room, and encourage lingering by offering games and puzzles to keep the young and young-at-heart amused while enjoying their gelato and chocolate treats. That's the only reason for four stars instead of five here.

You are immediately tempted by all the beautifully displayed options at the counter from pies to quiche to cookies and sweet bread loaves this place has it all not only can you get freshly made cookies which come right out of the oven and in so many different flavors you also can order food and either hot or cold coffee and tea drinks. It's just a lil hidden in the corner. I'm glad bc it's def gonna become one of my go-to's now. Ive been here twice and it def gets busy around lunch time, not many seats were available when we went here around 12pm. But I'm glad business seems to be doing well bc it's a cute place. Cozy little spot with great food and bingsu! They absolutely nail the fluffy snow-like texture of Korean shaved ice. Portions are pretty big so I'd say stick to either getting food or shaved ice bc I have a pretty big appetite but couldn't finish either! And it's a lil hard to store bingsu in the freezer since it's prone to becoming completely frozen if you leave it in there too long. It won't have the fluffy melt in your mouth texture anymore. So eat as soon as your can even if you take it to-go (they pack them in drink cups with lids if you order to-go). I've had the matcha, Oreo, mango, and original flavors. They're all good but I'd rank original last bc I was expecting a lore more injeolmi powder like ive seen in pics + the flavors were too subtle for me (I did order with oat milk however so that can be where I went wrong). I'd say Oreo was my fave of all that ive tried. Only the ones with a white base are available with dairy-free options btw, so matcha and Oreo can't be made dairy-free. They appear to have seasonal flavors as well. The panini was very good. My partner called it prob the best smelling sandwich he's had LOL. Accidentally held one cupcake sideways just as I opened the door home, so the frosting got smushed but obviously didn't affect the flavor. I think this review will be heavily biased by user error thus the 5 stars though my feelings are more on 3 stars. Since we were all busy, we'd have to eat them around 10+ hours after buying and to make sure nobody accidentally ate them before my birthday; we stored them in the fridge instead of room temp which clearly did something to the frosting and cakes. Family's average favorites in order are red velvet, the confetti, cookies and cream, smores, and strawberry. The red velvet is pretty good, it's pretty rich and moist compared to the other cupcakes and the cream cheese frosting is so nice. S'mores has a strong dark cocoa flavor but also was dense and a little dry. Strawberry and confetti had nice fluffy frosting but due to the fridge mistake, it was kinda like eating chilled whipped butter. I strangely really enjoyed that. Confetti also felt and tasted like corn bread; I wasn't there to choose or see the flavors, but it was a fascinating surprise when I kept chewing and felt grit between my teeth. I didn't expect the birthday cupcake to taste like a southern take on fairy bread? But it isn't bad! Overall, I feel like they're a nice place for a little treat--the red velvet is definitely their signature for a reason. But for ~$7-10 a cupcake the flavors we chose seem to lack a reason to come back :( Unless you have dietary restrictions! I didn't try them but they have keto, vegan, and gluten free options; I know how hard it is to find a bakery that honors all 3. I also got my cupcake in one of those adorable birthday boxes (bearer of the unfortunate frosting carnage so no photo) but the butterfly is so cute! They're definitely worth a visit once, the bread puddings looked fun too, but unfortunately it seems the cupcakes are just not my cup of tea.
