Love supporting family businesses and this is a good one. I wasn't even really craving anything but the gentleman suggested I get a shaved ice and I'm glad I did. I'm obsessed with shaved ice especially Korean style and I have had many places but this was supreme. The shaved ice was smooth and perfect texture and the vaniila ice cream was a perfect contrast. We were also able to try the watermelon sparkling water which had the perfect amount of sweetness and I'm sure would be even more amazing on a hot day. They just opened and I really hope they do well! I would say a few things to possibly work on would be how to layer the ice cream in the small cup, it was a bit messy/hard to eat when the ice cream scoop was on top of the snow. Maybe putting the ice cream on the bottom and then cover it with snow could help? Or you could keep it in the same order and just use bigger containers? Right when we walked in, we noticed the weird sugary film on the ice cream and the ice cream look like it had been sitting out for days being melted and then refrozen. the customer service was pretty good we were welcomed by a nice employee. I looked at the flavors which had very descriptive names. I asked for some samples of the ice cream, and when I took a bite of the green tea ice cream, it was very artificial tasting, so I settled for the chocolate crunch, but the chocolate was also artificial tasting because of the melted film on the ice cream. I will say that this place needs to make less artificial tasting ice cream and properly store the ice cream, so it does not melt. Otherwise this place would be a delicious place for families and kids. read more
