Came here because our realtor, Noah Bailey Realty, gave us a free glass of wine! Super cute inside. The AC was glorious, the layout was neat, and the patio was a nice addition. The staff members were kind. They have a private tasting room and offer wine flights. My complimentary glass of Cabernet was refreshing. The patio was lovely and had the cutest cat. Definitely will come back!

    Flight of wines. 2oz pours.

Cute place where you can sit on a rocking chair on an indoor porch and enjoy wine flights and snacks. They had four available wine flights when we visited and the basic red flight was very good.

First went into the Wine Cellar on a food tasting tour and got a tour of the shop and several tastings. We bought several wines that night. We went back yesterday and wanted to buy a few more bottles and with some samplings bought some new ones. They all tasted great. The shop has great selections and the staff is helpful and very knowledgeable.

Really good wine stop! You can buy a glass, get a flight or buy a card and sample from the machines. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable.

We stopped by Carrera Wine Cellar while walking around downtown area. Glad we did. The whole staff is friendly and accommodating. We had a couple wine flights and a couple light fruity ales. The highlight and main reason why we will be back again and again is for the fresh pretzel charcuterie board with their in house made beer cheese. This was such a great little stop before dinner. We will come again and bring friends and family to enjoy a nice time out.

I love Carrera! If you love wine and enjoy tasting different types, sipping and savoring. You can spend hours here sitting in their rocking chairs nibbling cheese and Bavarian pretzels. Then pick your faves to take home with you! This is my happy place.

If the service on our first few minutes in the place is any indication...this place is solid.

Just go here. This is a fun place to drink wine. The decor and ambiance is very well done. A converted bike and surf shop, they gave it a rustic feel with lots of small rooms where you can hang out with friends and have a glass or share a bottle. The inventory of wine is impressive. Tastings are reasonable and pours seem to be pretty generous...but that might be because we were nice. They offer featured flights or make your own flight. They do a bi-weekly painting class called Brushes for Lushes. $35. Plus of course some wine. This looks fun. And then there was the service. The owner, family and a friend were working the night we were here. Just nice people. They have some bottled craft beers and simple but tasty cheese plates. Local or tourist...give it a shot.

We are wine club members at Carrera, a wonderful place in St. Augustine's Uptown neighborhood - just north of the historic district. Great wine selection to drink in one of the cozy seating areas or purchase to enjoy at home. Daily flights and tastings with cheese plates. Lots of locals and groups of happy tourists. Super cute wine themed decor throughout.

Carrera Wine Cellar is listed as the Best Wine Specialty Shop in St Augustine. I went to theFlying Goat Cellars Special Tasting there today and was very impressed how a small and cozy wine place made a big impression on me. The wine tasting was fun and educational. The place winds around into tiny rooms, yet each room was buzzing with energy. In one area, there was a crowd engaging in wine tasting. Music and live entertainment was next to it. As I went up the stairs, I noticed some people were lounging in a small room or sitting at tables drinking wine. A large table was full of ladies drinking wine and doing art in the center as servers were busy behind a bar. At the end of the building were the bathroom and a peaceful outdoor area. I plan to revisit this cool little wine place again. Cheers!

We found this place by accident after having dinner down the street and we're very glad we did. We were greeted by a very nice and knowledgeable bartender who showed us around and explained the concept to us. The place is divided up between reds and whites...Italian and french. .high emd and bargain and has an excellent tasting area. You can buy flights..pours in 3 different sizes as well as bottles We sat at the small bar and ordered 2 different malbecs along with 2 different cabs and pinots. They were served at perfect temps and the pricing was very fair. It's a very cute place too..it looks like a porch complete with rocking chairs. .only all inside. A great experience and will gladly return every time we're in town.

I love this place because of how multipurpose it is. Want a glass of wine after work? Go relax in the rocking chairs and listen to live music. Want to learn how to taste wine properly? Go to one of their classes. Want to drink while you do something fun? Sign up for one of their events, like wine glass painting or ornament creating. Want to just grab a bottle of wine for a dinner party? They have a large, varied stock for all price ranges and taste preferences. Last night a couple friends and I went and split a bottle of wine purchased from their store, sitting in the chairs and listening to live acoustic guitar. I was also able to pick up a nice bottle of pinot noir for a dinner I have this evening. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable if you have questions, but there's also super handy food-pairing / wine education posters around the shop if you're too shy to ask for help. Finally, they do have some wine-themed homewares and gifts up front if you're doing any birthday or holiday shopping.

Nice little wine parlor.. Quaint place and relaxing

Second it's not real balamic. Why is it on there when not on the menu description? This French restaurant is located in a charming 3-story historic Jefferson house, once owned by Thomas Jefferson's great-granddaughter, Maria Jefferson Eppes Shine. The restaurant is on the first floor, with the entrance tucked away in the back. They have parking in the back. The second and third floors are home to a cozy Bed and Breakfast. We arrived right at 6 p.m. and were seated at a special table by the window. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has a lovely atmosphere. Renee was our server and treated us to a complimentary champagne for the occasion. She explained the menu and the specials. The Chefs Dinner Menu was fascinating, but unfortunately, I don't eat lamb. The menu changes frequently, so I'll definitely check it out again in the future and pair it with the optional Sommelier's wine pairing. There are so many wonderful choices, but I finally decided on the Bouillabaisse, remembering all the positive comments on Yelp. When my order arrived, it was presented on a large platter with a gorgeous display. It tasted as good as it looked, with the lobster eyes staring at me. It was a whole lobster, conveniently cut, which made it easier to eat. The combination of lobster, shrimp, mussels, and clams in a saffron-flavored broth was amazing. I'm so glad I chose it. My husband opted for the Steak au Poivre with Pomme Aligot. It's mashed potatoes with melted cheese, butter, and cream. The texture was a bit tougher than regular mashed potatoes, but still delicious. I tasted his filet, and it was so tender. He loves the poivre sauce on his steak. Renee recommended all the wines we picked. We started with the complimentary Frederic Chopin Brut Blanc de Blanc, and we really liked it, so we ordered more. For my meal, I had the Barbebelle Rosé, and my husband had the Peyrassol Merlot Syrah blend. Both wines complemented our meal perfectly. We did run into an issue with my Bouillabaisse, as it was a bit too salty. The manager, Parnos, came and apologized and had the chef prepare a new batch for me. They fixed the problem right away. I'm really impressed with the service, the amazing food, and the beautiful restaurant that's now La Nouvelle. They even gave me an amazing dessert with a birthday candle for free! It had a chocolate center, a crispy crust, whipped cream topping with chocolate morsels. La Nouvelle was outstanding in so many ways, making my birthday super special.

I'll start with the food. We asked for our pastas to be al dente and we were willing to wait for a fresh batch. It came out so over cooked you couldn't even put a fork in it! The quality of the food was very low budget! Not even restaurant depot low budget but more along the Walmart or Aldi kind. The bread was great. We asked for a second round on it! When we got our check we were charged for bread! Never in my life have I been charged for complimentary bread! And to not even tell us, that's the crazy part! Let's move to the desserts. When offered we were told to look in the case next to our table that was the desserts. They were clearly old. The tiramisu and cakes were dry on the top and not even covered! We passed! Now onto the service. This place is so small I don't know how you can lose your server. But we did. When the food came out we wanted cheese she was gone for at least 10 minutes! So either no cheese or cold food. Not how you eat Italian food! Not to mention she had a serious attitude problem! Tried to simply chalk it up to she's having a bad day. She was rude! Needless to say we will not go back here to give it a second chance. There are much better places out there.
