It was such a fun 30-minute tour with children or adults. The tour starts with a short video explaining the history and giving fun facts about Hammond Candy. After the tour of the factory, we each received a free candy, which was taffy. It's cool that they sell the same taffy at Trader Joe's. We ended up buying some of the caramels and candies to take home to our family. Overall, a fun little experience if you're interested in the candy making process or just want something to do with your family!

You get a sample of candy at the end of the tour, too (Todays free candy was some taffy). The tour shows you a video of their history, and then you get to walk out and see how they make candy live on the production floor. Pretty neat to see. After the tour is over, you wind up in their gift shop. They have a ton of options for candy. It sure isn't cheap though. Candy bars were $5.00, candy canes $3.00 and up. You definitely pay for the quality. It is very good candy. I recommend looking at their "oops" shelves. They are the same great candy, just not visually "perfect" to sell, and they are at a great discount. We got some caramel, some lemon drops etc from this section. Would definitely come back if I lived in Denver. Great way to spend an hour or so.
