Horrible. They damaged my rain gutters buy using it as step to get on and off my roof, I did not notice the damage until they left. They also wanted additional $200.00 after the work was done, saying " it took us all day". I will never use these guys again. read more

Wanted seven small to medium Mexican Palm trees cut down and large evergreen bush trimmed. I also wanted everything cut down to be hauled away. They gave me a price of $1000. They arrived on time however their truck bed was fully packed with a cut down tree from a previous job. How are they going to remove seven Palm trees from my property when their truck bed is already full? They wanted cash so I had to go to the bank after they started. After they were over half way done they said they had to leave but would be back. I made the mistake by paying them before they were done but they did come back in a hour or so. They had made some room in their truck for more trimmings. I thought they had removed all of the palm trees and trimmings but after they left I found all of my trash cans had been stuffed FULL of palm fronds and evergreen trimmings. This is NOT what was agreed to. They were to haul away everything that was cut down. Also before they left, the employee I had been communicating with had asked for an additional $200. After discovering all the debris they left behind filling all my trash cans, I am glad I hadn't paid the additional $200. I will definitely use another landscaping company for any additional yard work. read more

We have a lot of experience with pricing and tree removals. We are in the real estate industry so we see quotes all the time. We had a personal emergency situation! Our huge pine tree fell over and broke two of our neighbors fences. We called Carillo Tree Service after 5 PM and yet they still came that same day and quoted us a great price. We had a couple other quotes and those other people were most likely attempting to take advantage of our emergency situation and over quoted us. Also we look pretty young and inexperienced so I think those other people were hoping we didn't know what we were doing. Carillo Tree Service was fair, honest, professional and super fast! They came right away and we hired them on the spot. They got to work that evening and since the trees fell in our neighbors yard they had to drive around to the next street and coordinate with two other neighbors. They were always messaging us updates and communication was always on point! Within 2 days they had all the work completed. This is suppose to be 1 star. Really 0 stars. I feel I must warn people. Pedro and his crew might be ok at tree trimming. But definitely not irrigation. I wanted a designed system for my acre. I was left with irrigation pipe layed across my entrance side walk instead of under it. Over 25 broken plant spot lights, trampled plants, underground pipe leaks, 3 hills that had no water lines to them. Numerous plants with no water heads by them. Pedro left every morning to go to other jobs, and his Very Rude work crew with no respect for the property would take over. I tried to tell them about the large banks they had skipped putting water line to. All I got was mean stares, or being ignored. I had to hire another company to try to piece together and fix everything. I usually try not to post bad reviews. But this was over the top. And a bit traumatic. Not to mention the expense to try and fix or replace everything. read more

Asked me to write a new check, changing the name of the business to personal name. And also broke my tent without telling me before they left. Pedro I believe is in charge he came by gave me a free estimate and was able to book me for the next available appointment since getting our dead tree removed was important and needed to be done quickly since we were getting concrete placed in our backyard. The day the team came they came early which was great ! Within 30 min or so our tree was down and they were getting to breaking branches racking up leaves and breaking down the stump all in a matter of maybe an hour and a half so 2 hours total. The price was very affordable I would totally recommend! He was polite his team worked efficiently and quickly. The number they have on Yelp is his number so you can text the number but he did do great with returning calls I definitely would recommend! read more

His price was fair and I had already seen his work at a neighbor's house and was impressed so I hired him rather than wait for others to respond. They were late to arrive on the day the tree trimming was to start (had to finish another job, understandable) but brought extra people and got the job done in one visit. Call them First! I recommend Pedro and his team. They are professional, respectful, knowledgeable and hard workers. Fair prices and honest recommendations. They removed trees, truck loads of dirt, redid our fence and built our retaining wall that is over 160 feet long. Came in and cleared over 150' of dense Acacia trees in just 1 day. I added up my cost to buy a chainsaw, rent a chipper, and a stump grinder, plus dump fees, and maybe I save half, but that doesn't include breaking my back over at least 2 weeks, working every day! Thank you guys! read more
