They would change the price on me after the job was done, not clean up afterward or were not thorough. Thorson Bros were a breath of fresh air! Thorson and his employee (I totally forgot his name and I feel terrible about it) came out and killed my huge job in about two hours. I have a 2 1/2 acre property with next to no landscaping which is a perfect breeding ground for mustard plants! The back half was completely covered with dead mustard plants and was completely impassable. I posted a job on Yelp and Thorson responded within 30 minutes. We talked briefly on the phone and then he did a site visit that same day. Roughly 2.5 hours from the time I posted the job he was here to give me an estimate. Unlike others who ask for pictures, Thor showed up ensuring he had a clear understanding of what was needed. We scheduled the initial cleanup of a very large yard, hedges and tree trimming in the back, as well as flower bed in the front yard. He actually completed the work in about half a day, on Memorial Day, within two days of discussion. He communicated all concerns and plans before and as he worked. This rating is based on customer service rather than actual service. Scheduled a service and sent all info and was cancelled on 20 minutes before he was supposed to be here because 'I am too far and not paying enough'. I understand I am far in the country, but as a business owner you should figure that out when I gave you my address, not at the absolute last minute. So now an entire day has been wasted when I could have had a professional come out, and cancelled other potential landscapers because of our standing appointment. I am sure you hate customers cancelling last minute, so why do it to someone else? read more
