They set up everything, took down, packed my car for me after the reception. The team at the venue are AMAZING! The DJ (Cameron), gave me "Homework" to do before the big day of lists of activities and what songs to play for each item. He was VERY organized and followed the paper to a T with other songs that he felt would keep the party going. He also during one of the Vendor Nights at the venue gave us suggestions on what type of alcohol to buy and how many with garnish suggestions as well. Jennifer the venue owner was PHENOMENAL! Every question I had, every concern I expressed and every emotional moment I faced, she was there for me. She has one of the biggest hearts and is such a caring person. Picking this venue was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. There were days where my stress was taking over and I was worried that I would've forgotten things, but Jennifer and her calming voice reminded me that everything was going to be okay and they have everything handled. Amy Mosser and her husband Mike just blew me away with not just my engagement photos BUT with all of their hard work, dedication and care just made everything so smooth. I am not confident in myself since I started gaining weight because of my PCOS. BUT, Amy and Mike helped me fall in love with myself all over again and helped me boost my confidence by how they show how much they care about how I felt about my pictures. On my wedding day, Amy is pregnant and is running up and down stairs, outside, and just constantly moving. I did not see her sit down for even a minute and I was just amazed at how she made everything look and feel so flawless. She was very good with my autistic brother Patrick who I was sure he was going to take her home with his snuggle bears lol. Mike was not just my 2nd photographer, he was also my Officiant. Let me tell you, he let me know constantly how honored he was to be our officiant, BUT I was honored that he was so excited to do that for us and how he cared so much about our small details. Once I was down the aisle, the ceremony was maybe 10-15 minutes. But to us that was more than enough since we are not super religious and did not want a long ceremony. A few days before the big day, Mike called me on the phone and spoke to me about how things were going to go and wanted to know details about Jordan and I's relationship. He made sure the small details were in his speech and that it was a surprise to us . The Videographers were AMAZING! We used Mid 80s Media and let me tell you, they were amazing! They were constantly on the move making sure they captured every precious moment and little details that I am sure others have missed in other Weddings. They were very kind, patient and communicated well with everything. I am super excited to receive my video. The Seasons At Magnolia Manor team went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations and I could not thank them enough. Please go on a tour with them and check out the venue, you will NOT be sorry. They love what they do and can do any theme your heart desires. BRIDES-Jennifer and her team do NOT make you feel like a paycheck like other venues do. They required temporary heating for client events and rented heaters from us for months, but failed to pay their invoices or return the equipment. I would advise anyone considering this venue to reconsider. If you are a vendor, insist on payment upfront to avoid the same issues we faced. Jennifer often made excuses about being sick or out of town, which complicated the situation further. There are plenty of other venues around that maintain a higher level of professionalism and reliability.

I would like to apologize for taking this long to send this letter. We have had a few deaths in our family to deal with and I am just now able to get my thoughts together. I would like to begin with thanking Ms. Kitty who I dealt with regarding the payments. This event was put on by 7 siblings, and 19 grandchildren, each paying a portion and living all over the United States. So the headache of that situation was handled with sincere grace and professionalism by Ms. Kitty. She never showed any frustration, even though I was ready to strangle my family. Secondly, and not in order of appreciation, we would like to thank Mr. Richard who was the EVERYTHING to the event. He was so accommodating to my craziness. I am a very very particular person whose OCD really gets out of control sometimes, and he never wavered in his professionalism. I kept changing things, and adding things, and requesting things, and needing things and on and on....and he always said, yes we can do that. Even up to the day of the event...he made so many accommodations for me and my family. He has the best temperament for a person in his position, because you never know when he is fed up with your request and changes. And now to the event!! When I chose the Westminster location it was because of the price, so I did not think we would get the same service that I was used to getting at the Security location which I have been in attendance dozens of times. WRONG!! I can't put into words how we were treated at this event by the staff of Martins Westminster. Every request, change and extras were done to perfection; and it was so beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and well-seasoned (which was one of my many requests). The interactions that my guest had with the staff were pleasant and professional. The event was a memorable one for my Mother (Ms Ella Byrd), that she calls me every day to reminisce about it. I will choose this location over All the Martin's locations. I have absolutely NO complaints (and that's big for me) with regards to my dealings with Martin's Westminster and would recommend it over and over. Bob was awesome, along with everyone helping this past Sunday night! Totally seamless, took care of us, high attention to detail and making us know we were in good hands! Let's also mention the AMAZINGly delicious food that we got many compliments on. I was hesitant about doing a buffet, but SO glad we did! And always get the crab cakes! We had a tuxedo cake with a caramel flavored filling and got many compliments. The DJ (DJDELIGHTS) was also awesome! They played all the songs we wanted and kept the dance floor busy! I really could go on. A wonderful deal for the money! I highly recommend Martin's. I live two hours away and it was worth all the hassle that went along with the traveling to and fro :)

Then at one point at my event I noticed the owners husband helping himself to multiple plates of my family's food. The husband and I had words during the planning and execution of my family's event more then once overall I found their management team to be rude and as if my business was a bother to them and was a problem. Money is GREEN and all humans when you pay you have a basic level of customer service expected it was not delivered. While the venue is pretty the management teams attitude is less then piss poor... if you want to be stressed out and irritated yet have your event at a pretty place then this is the venue for you. The stress and rudeness of their team was not worth the venues cuteness for me... I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and will never use them again. Maybe they treat brides better but my event was a very simple family event... and they failed miserably to do the most basic of things... and they had a HUGE insect issue that could have and should easily been controled by spraying NEVER AGAIN most brides are likely so in love that they are blind to the mess but this place would get a negative -1 from me if it were possible. Why haven't I written a review until now is a mystery but, oh well.. Lol This past Weekend, they did something totally different. They had a tribute to 50 years of "go-go" instead of the aforementioned reggae fest. With that said, Rare Essence performed Saturday and the Junk Yard Band did their thing Sunday. Me and my crew grew up on Essence so Saturday we converged. The forecast for severe afternoon t-storms almost made me stay home, but I've been given a lot of flack from my homies for bailing because of weather so I was determined to push through :) I'm glad that I did. It rained STRONG for about an hour in the middle of the festival, but after that, the headliner performed and cranked like it was 1990! Talk about nostalgia.. Omg!! We had a ball! Full disclosure, it was about half the normal size crowd, so I'm not sure Linganore will take that type of money loss in the future, but thanks for the memories.. I definitely needed that!!!

The energy never dropped. Everything was very well organized from parking, to the wine samples, vendors, dance floor, and stage setup. You could tell a lot of planning went into making the experience smooth and enjoyable for guests. The music, food, and overall atmosphere made it easy to forget about the weather completely. This was my second time here, and it definitely will not be my last. I'll 100% be returning.

The Sunday morning breakfast with four other guests was a highlight in terms of interesting company and delicious and varied breakfast treats (sausage & bacon, yogurt parfait, Belgian waffles, and dessert eclairs!). The coffee was plentiful and tasty and the service was lovely. I had time for a bubble bath in the spa tub before checkout at noon. If you're looking for R&R and getting away from the hubbub of life, Savannah's is a great option.

Let these kids bully our children?
