Hello All, We got married on 11/12/2022 at Seasons At Magnolia Manor on a beautiful day. The theme was Under the Sea and the venue did a SPECTACULAR job! They set up everything, took down, packed my car for me after the reception. The team at the venue are AMAZING! The DJ (Cameron), gave me "Homework" to do before the big day of lists of activities and what songs to play for each item. He was VERY organized and followed the paper to a T with other songs that he felt would keep the party going. He also during one of the Vendor Nights at the venue gave us suggestions on what type of alcohol to buy and how many with garnish suggestions as well. Jennifer the venue owner was PHENOMENAL! Every question I had, every concern I expressed and every emotional moment I faced, she was there for me. She has one of the biggest hearts and is such a caring person. Picking this venue was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. There were days where my stress was taking over and I was worried that I would've forgotten things, but Jennifer and her calming voice reminded me that everything was going to be okay and they have everything handled. Amy Mosser and her husband Mike just blew me away with not just my engagement photos BUT with all of their hard work, dedication and care just made everything so smooth. I am not confident in myself since I started gaining weight because of my PCOS. BUT, Amy and Mike helped me fall in love with myself all over again and helped me boost my confidence by how they show how much they care about how I felt about my pictures. On my wedding day, Amy is pregnant and is running up and down stairs, outside, and just constantly moving. I did not see her sit down for even a minute and I was just amazed at how she made everything look and feel so flawless. She was very good with my autistic brother Patrick who I was sure he was going to take her home with his snuggle bears lol. Mike was not just my 2nd photographer, he was also my Officiant. Let me tell you, he let me know constantly how honored he was to be our officiant, BUT I was honored that he was so excited to do that for us and how he cared so much about our small details. Once I was down the aisle, the ceremony was maybe 10-15 minutes. But to us that was more than enough since we are not super religious and did not want a long ceremony. A few days before the big day, Mike called me on the phone and spoke to me about how things were going to go and wanted to know details about Jordan and I's relationship. He made sure the small details were in his speech and that it was a surprise to us . The Videographers were AMAZING! We used Mid 80s Media and let me tell you, they were amazing! They were constantly on the move making sure they captured every precious moment and little details that I am sure others have missed in other Weddings. They were very kind, patient and communicated well with everything. I am super excited to receive my video. The Seasons At Magnolia Manor team went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations and I could not thank them enough. Please go on a tour with them and check out the venue, you will NOT be sorry. PLease read the negative reviews about Jennifer and the venue. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this venue or its owners, Jennifer and her husband. They required temporary heating for client events and rented heaters from us for months, but failed to pay their invoices or return the equipment. I would advise anyone considering this venue to reconsider. If you are a vendor, insist on payment upfront to avoid the same issues we faced. Jennifer often made excuses about being sick or out of town, which complicated the situation further. !!!Please listen to the negative reviews about this venue!!!! I was a maid of honor for a wedding at this venue in October 2023 and it was a disaster from the moment we arrived. We got there Friday night under the impression we'd have the mansion to ourselves all weekend since that's what the bride was told. We get there and are told we can't start decorating because there's another wedding happening before ours the next day Saturday. Why would you tell a client they can have a venue to themselves and tell them at the literal last minute they are going to have to share the venue with strangers? The couple paid for the entire house and land not a shared space. Then, when the bride understandably expresses her concerns, Jennifer replies with "what do you want me to do?" Your job?? We woke up the next morning and couldn't find our dresses and belongings inciting panic because some time in the middle of the night, her staff came in and locked our stuff in a room and told no one until the bride called Jennifer in the morning. We awoke to our locked belongings and the other bride's family sharing rooms in the house. That was a huge red flag and it all went downhill from there. We were at a standstill until the other bride finally went through with her wedding 3 hours late. Our ceremony started an hour late because of the other wedding. Our guests started arriving with no where to sit because Jennifer has less than 10 employees so they were busy getting everything ready for the other wedding and then taking everything down from her wedding to start the decor from our wedding. Throughout the entire time, it was extremely difficult to find Jennifer or the coordinator assigned to our wedding. At one point, I finally found Jennifer sitting at the other wedding while our wedding was in chaos. The sweetheart table was put in the wrong place, there were not enough chairs for the guests, there were no drinks during cocktail hour and it was freezing with no heaters. The guests couldn't find their names on the seating charts or tables because no one was guiding them and the employees were still setting up decor and tables after the ceremony was finished. Jennifer said they tried to guide people to their seats but they didn't speak English...99% of our guests spoke English, and this was just an excuse for her poor planning. The majority of the guests ended up leaving before the "cocktail hour" was even over. By the end of the reception, there was no "parking attendant" as promised and our guests had to cross the street and walk up a hill to where they parked their vehicles, in the cold, some in heels, some elderly. It was completely unprofessional and appalling. I've been to many weddings and have never seen a venue run their business this way. They know how to sell lies and get you to sign the contract. Any concern you have, Jennifer always has an answer yet when everything went wrong at the wedding SHE LEFT without so much as an apology to the bride and groom. Now that the couple is trying to get their hard-earned money back she is still not the one replying to them, it's her husband. This isn't even half of what went wrong due to this venues' lack of organization and greed. They ruined a once in a lifetime event for the couple and all our hard work through the year was for nothing because they did not execute it as they said they would. They are not equipped to handle one wedding let alone two. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if you have an outside coordinator. The coordinator will just end up doing the venue's job. To save your time reading the details, this wedding venue didn't execute what we agreed due to their lack of coordination and organization among all the vendors and their own staff, which made most of our experiences at our simple wedding much less pleasant than they could have been, we are very disappointed at the venue and would not recommend it to anyone! The owner Jennifer Haddaway is usually very responsive via text messages. After driving back and forth 4 times (each round trip is 2 hours for us) to the wedding venue planning for everything, the final chaotic execution made this effort a waste of our time! Our wedding package included in-house decoration. We spent 3 hours with the décor planner Bethany picking out the items in their storage for dinner tables, fake flower decorations, sign styles, etc. Bethany was not present at our wedding, and the staff who were there completely changed the décor we picked with Bethany and took photos of. Our guests started to arrive at 2pm, and the ceremony started at 2:30pm. My wife, two friends, and I arrived at the venue at 12pm. We saw the décor was different from what we picked. The dinner tables were still inside a building, despite our request for an outdoor dinner to mitigate COVID concerns. The staff said it rained the previous day, the ground was maybe still wet, but we checked it and the ground was already dry (we were very lucky that our wedding day was very sunny). We ran around to find the staff to move the tables out and correct the decoration, but they were hard to find and they were persistent in being sloppy in the way they decorated the pergola and dinner tables! My wife was planning to do the makeup and dress up 2.5 hours prior to the ceremony, but she ended up having only 20 minutes to take a shower, change clothes, and do the makeup due to such chaos! We brought one female friend to help my wife for this since we were not told there was a bride helper in our package. The bride helper Katya helped my wife with her wedding gown, and we greatly appreciate that! We gave the DJ (Master T) a Spotify song list to play at the wedding, and we told him to just replay the list if needed, which made his work super easy. The DJ was supposed to play the prelude wedding songs at 2pm to welcome our guests, but he didn't set up his equipment to play songs until a few minutes before our 2:30 ceremony time. The photographer Katie Harmis signed a contract with us prior to the wedding, which clearly said 7 hours and at least 600 photos. When she said goodbye to us at 6pm at the wedding, we were wondering why she left so early. To make things worse, 6 weeks after the wedding she only provided 220-ish photos, and she spelled my wife's name wrong in the online photo storage. We politely asked her to correct my wife's name and she said she would, but 1 week later, she hadn't corrected. We revisited our signed contract and told her that she clearly breached contract and asked her for money back, but she declined and she said it's a misunderstanding between her and the wedding venue. We had to seek help from a lawyer to make her refund us. We wanted to thank Jennifer Hunt for helping us to decorate our wedding cake to hide the shifted position of the 3-layer cake we brought to the venue. It took a long time for the cake to arrive with the guests (there were only 2 servers for our 90-person wedding), and we found out after the wedding that some guests got a second helping while other guests were not served cake at all. The bartender at the wedding was a different person from the one from the vendor open house. We prepared the listed cocktails suitable for our guests who usually don't drink, like a lemon drop, mojito, sea breeze, etc. But this bartender made all the drinks very strong, and our guests complained about it! To conclude, we are writing this review to warn people to be aware of what could happen if you book this venue for your most significant life event. read more

We hosted our Class reunion at Seasons. The grounds were beautiful and a a great size to have several areas for different experiences such as tables to sit and eat, dance floor, bar and mangling, yard games, raffle and donation area, photo booth. It allowed everyone to be comfortable and mingle and really have a nice time. I also loved that I was able to explore the decor the venue owns to cut down significantly on the money needed to be spent and still have a beautiful set up. The only items we provided were the owls. All other items were available from the venue to use. I also showed a few inspiration photos and they did they rest. The venue was beautifully decorated and I did not have to lift a finger. What a treat. I was also kind of difficult requesting 2 specialty drinks one of which was not the easiest to make. They had no problem making sure they would happen. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was great and I was grateful to not have to stress about the set up or take down of anything. read more

One could describe our experience here as horrible. Arrived 10/08/22 for a 2 night stay for 50th Anniversary Celebration for some close friends being held on premises the next day. Arrived at approx 3:00PM, NOT A SOUL IN SIGHT. Called the proprietor and, rather than show up, we were given the Key Code for the front door. Very old structure, the house was, quite frankly, freezing inside. Call Jennifer again and was told where the thermostat for our room. Cranked it up and, after returning from dinner about 4 hours later, the room had reached a balmy 55 degrees. STILL, NO ONE SHOWED UP. Awoke the next day 10/9 to NO BREAKFAST unless a Keurig coffee maker and a couple of bottles water counts as breakfast. Again contacted Jennifer and was then told where the thermostat for the oil fired furnace for the rest of the house was located. By Sunday afternoon it was barely tolerable. Sunday evening attended the Celebration and told one of the catering staff, Jennifer's mother, we expected breakfast the next morning. Awoke, packed, and treated ourselves to 2 shrink-wrapped muffins and a couple power bars. TOTAL COST: $432.90 FOR 2 NIGHTS. I find it unconscionable that an owner/proprietor would treat guests in such a manner. Could-a/should-a stayed in a comfortable local hotel. Instead we had to endure 2 uncomfortable nights with nary a breakfast in sight. UNLESS I'M WRONG - THERE'S A REASON THESE PLACES ARE CALLED BED & BREAKFAST's. read more

I am gonna keep this as short as possible. my husband and I got married here in 2022. we chose to go through the venue for everything! it was a mistake. We just received our pictures two weeks ago after going through an outside source due to lack of communication from Jennifer. We were told we had to prepay for the possibility of having 150 people with reassurance we would be refunded after we turned in our rsvped amount. we RSVPed 120 people and have not been refunded for the difference. That itself is 1,770 dollars. We were promised a photo booth on our contract, did not get that. We told Jennifer we did not want a cake at our wedding instead wanted a dessert bar. A cake was at our wedding with no dessert bar. We never got our included flowers. Which we're going to be for people in the wedding. There are so many other things that were either left out or done poorly. Overall highly upset with the venue and lack of communication. It was pouring rain when we got to the venue but about 2 hours later it stopped. We thought we were going to have to move everything inside but Jennifer kept the panic button away from me and we waited it out as she suggested. Sure enough it stopped and the staff started setting up just as promised. My biggest worry was i had made paper flowers and had a lot of hand made things that if got wet would be ruined. The efforts made to avoid tis were above and beyond and at the end of the night, all my paper flowers were neatly places out for us to package them up and take them home. I could not even believe it. Our Photographer was awesome. Mike was really so patient with all the crying we were doing. Everything was just so perfect and beautiful. The ceremony was perfect. The reception was perfect. The food was amazing. It was just everything I had built up in my head for over a year. I would do it all all over again even with the rain. Thank you Seasons and everyone on the team. I had my wedding here 11.11.17. My experience was not great - The communications I had with the staff member who handled our wedding was unprofessional and even accused me of not paying according to our agreement. She later came back with an apology after I showed proof I did pay as agreed. She stated she looked at the wrong information. Any professional staff would be sure they were looking at the correct information before telling a bride 45 days before her wedding that she had not paid as agreed. At our final walk through the staff person was not welcoming and also said we didn't have access to certain areas of the manor that my contract did include. After I showed proof of what was in our contract she changed her answer reluctantly. I was officially getting very uneasy about the venue. I had been hearing of others bad experiences but by this point it was too late to change my reception venue and I had already paid in full. We made arrangements with the staff person to arrive at 3pm the day before to decorate. The room was freezing and the windows were dirty (dirt, dead bugs and mud splatters). I asked if the windows would be cleaned. She said that she would turn the heat on high first thing in the morning so that our guests would be comfortable for our 12pm reception and the windows would be clean. The staff should be sure to have the space clean knowing there is a wedding reception. A customer should not have to request cleaning when they have paid $3,000 for the venue. By this point I just didn't even want to deal with the venue or the staff person anymore On our wedding day, I did not using the bridal suite or groom area because I didn't want to deal with them any more than I had to. I stayed home to get ready with my bridal party and my husband rented a hotel room. My caterer and the other vendors arrived to set up. My caterer saw that the chairs had mud foot prints on them and the windows were dirty. She asked the staff person if she could clean the windows and the chairs. She got snippy with the caterer, cleaned one chair, said "I did clean the windows" then disappeared. My caterer and her husband ended up cleaning all the chairs, they are not staff at the venue and should not have had to clean up dirty chairs. But, because they are awesome, they went above and beyond to attempt to make sure everything was perfect. When my guests arrived, it was only in the mid 40's! The bathroom was not working, guests were told to use the bathroom in the main house until the outdoor bathroom was fixed. We were promised the day before that the room would be warm for guests but it was so cold that most of my guests either left early or had to keep their coats on. I was in my bridal gown and was literally shivering the entire day. When my mother asked the staff person about the heat, she got nasty with my mother and said "well I tried" and walked away. That was so unprofessional; I do not appreciate her disrespecting my mother in that way. If a venue is booking weddings into the fall, they know the temperatures could potentially be at or below freezing and they should have a heating source installed not a couple of space heaters to plug into the wall. The room is beautiful but I did not receive a service worth $3,000. After my wedding I was contacted by some of my guests saying that once the bathroom was "fixed", the venue did not allow anyone into the main house to use the bathroom. Their "fix" was to leave the water running in the sink which also spilled over to the floor. The bathroom floor had water on it so my guests were walking through standing water on the floor in order to use the bathroom in their nice clothes in the cold. Leaving a sink running from a garden hose is certainly not a "fix", my guests should not have had to use the bathroom facilities in that kind of condition - they should have been permitted to use the bathroom in the main house. I also requested ice, but was told that we would be charged $6 for an 8 lb bag of ice. We did not use the venue to get ready, did not use their linens, and did not use any of their supplies. We used the room, tables and chairs. My caterers bought ice from the convenience store and did not ask me to reimburse them; my caterers were AMAZING (Molli's Café in Westminster). If we had paid $1,000 I would not be complaining but for $3,000 we expected a better experience, more professional staff, and a clean venue. After I posted a review on the venue's facebook, the owner emailed me, apologized for my experience and refunded me $500. Then she promptly reported my review and had it removed from her page. I feel this is dishonest considering I even revised my review to show that she DID refund me the money in an effort to make things right. Customers have the right to know of both good and bad experiences so that they can make an informed decision as to whether or not they spend their hard earned money on a venue. read more

My brother hosted a surprise 40th birthday party for my sister in law at the Magnolia. It was a spectacular evening with family and friends. Jeff and his wife did an amazing job and made us feel so welcome. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and their staff was incredible. Beautiful Manor with beautiful views of the sunset over the farmlands and mountains. We stayed in the Shakespeare which was a huge room with a wonderful spa tub and spa feel. My husband loved the cigar room and wants his own space like that at home now but we agree just to go back to Magnolia periodically to spoil ourselves. I highly recommend. The staff was wonderful.
