8/7/2021 - I found Carrot Express by Googling "Healthy food near Me". Saw the menu and decided to go. The first thing I noticed when walking in the restaurant was how absolutely delicious it smelled. The aroma from the food was one I haven't smelled in a long time. Of course, even though I looked on line and chose what I wanted to eat, I get there and stand there like its' the first time I'm seeing the menu. (Like going to a Fast Food chain and say......what do they have? It drives my family crazy!! I do it every time. LOL) I asked the associate what I should try and her suggesting of The Impossible Burger I got. The associates were all kind. Busy at work helping to run a restaurant. Here though is my beef with Carrot Express. As I'm ordering, I think out loud about getting a full salad for later in the day. My daughter says, "Mom look at how much you've spent so far. I look at the register and I'm floored. I stopped right there. I ordered two burgers that came with side salads and a piece of cake. Why did that come up to 48$!!! Yes, the sandwiches were good, but the burgers was not worth that worthy. AND they are the side of a Quarter Pounder. I've had burgers where my eyes bugged out when it's brought to my table. I was disappointed in that area. Would I eat there again? I don't have an answer with this review. Happy Eats read more

Came to this place this afternoon to grab a quick healthy bite with my wife... this is a small cozy "fast food" type of place where you order at the counter and they take the food to your high top table.... the food is mostly healthy and they have wraps and served dishes... I had the chicken pesto wrap and it was delicious! You can order it kosher style with Kosher chicken and no cheese.... so a plus there... my wife had the ahi tuna with cauliflower rice that was very good and tasty. Service was very good and everyone I saw was smiling... the place is clean and you can see the kitchen is also clean... Parking available .... I believe I overheard they also do catering, so that is also a plus for this place as you can have a healthy choice prepared to go! Cheers and congrats! read more

I've really tried to like Carrot Express... my to has always been the Liv Wrap, but in an attempt to try other things from their menu I tried their lentil and carrot/sweet potato soups, both were underwhelming. The lentil soup barely had lentils, and the other soup was extremely bland. We also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie that was almost $7, as hard as a rock, and flavorless. I guess when I come here I'll just stick to that wrap. read more

my co-worker had recommended this spot, because she said it's great for pescatarians and vegetarians (which i am), so i tried it for the first time. walked in around 530 on a tuesday and was greeted by the nicest group of staff. the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful. since i had never been there before, he assisted me in deciding what to order, from my meal to my drink! together, we picked the poke bowl, with half raw tuna and half raw salmon (an add-on option that is extra), and quinoa instead of brown rice. i wasnt sure what to expect but i was so pleasantly surprised at the size of the portion, it was huge! the salad came dressed, but was also accompanied by a cilantro lime dressing, which i ended up not using bc the dish was delicious by itself. i also got the carrot cake, that i ended up taking with me to eat at home (since i was so full from the bowl). the cake was soft and moist, the icing not too sweet, and overall just a really good carrot cake !! since i work in the area, the gentleman offered me 10% off my order, which i thought was very kind. there's not many places who will offer you a discount without the customer having to ask for one. i also joined their rewards program, which is via text, and adds up to some cool discounts, and even a birthday surprise ! just be prepared to spend some $. my whole order came to over $35, so it's def not a cheap spot, but to me it was worth it! i will absolutely be back, and i have to thank my co-worker for suggesting it !!!!! read more

I ordered half carrot soup and half chicken salad wrap. The soup tasted very bad, had a weird acidic taste to it, didn't taste at all like carrots. The chicken wrap was extremely dry and had no taste to it. They also ran out of cilantro dressing. This is extremally disappointing, as I remember Carrot Express used to be one of my favorite places to eat lunch at. Hopefully they just had a bad day. read more

I've been a huge fan of carrot express for years now. I was so excited to find out that there was a location close to me in aventura. Everything I've tried from here is good, but my absolute all time favorite is the Liv Wrap. It is so filling, but you don't feel bad after eating it because it's full of wholesome and healthy ingredients. Highly recommend their famous cilantro lime sauce on the side as well. I could drink that stuff it's so good! read more

We order from this place quite frequently for lunch at the office. The food is very fresh and the wraps are flavorful. I personally love the chicken salad wrap and the b52 juice. me and my partner went here because we saw how good it looked on instagram but let me tell you it's not worth it. The food has a weird off taste. The quinoa is not what you'll expect. In my opinion it tasted very fake. Definitely not worth the 40 dollars nor the drive. Just letting you know. There's better places out there Edit: it's the day after and I believe I'm sick to be honest. Wasn't able to sleep last night with nausea. First impression ... Didn't have what I came there for... Didn't even have the alternative to what I wanted .. So I got a basic smoothie (strawberry , banana, protein, almond milk) .. when she handed me my smoothie before even drinking it I already knew by the weight of it that it was not going to be creamy or thick at all ... did not taste any banana or protein in it .. was $11 ... taste/texture was like it had maybe 2 frozen strawberries , two slices of banana and the rest lots of ice and almond milk... so stingey .. Also .. the paper straws disintegrate into a soggy wad of paper before you're even 1/4 finished with your smoothie.... Fast food and healthy spot in both aventura and downtown Miami. The wraps are incredible. Great size filled to the brim with toppings. You will definitely leave this spot full. The aventura location is very small with a few tables both inside and outside. It's one of my favorite fast casual restaurants because of the quantity of food and the healthy/fresh aspect. We had the Mahi Wrap and the Liv Wrap. Both delicious. read more

Unfortunately will not be going back... I love their liv wrap and have been getting it for years but today I spent $20 on a wrap ONLY, no drinks or sides just one wrap. I understand price increases but the wrap used to cost about $13, a month ago $14.95 and today $18 plus tip... almost 40% increase so unfortunately will not be enjoying any more. read more

Ordered an açaí bowl waited 30 minutes and got nothing. The people that came in after us got served before us. Furthermore, the owner comped someone their pineapple due to them waiting, and didn't even bother doing something similar for us. I started asking a couple questions about the menu and the lady at the register just turned and walked away. 30 seconds of standing at the register awkwardly someone else came up to talk to me. It seems like it was a language barrier issue but I do speak spanish and could've made some attempt to communicate that English was not her language of choice. Met a friend who recommended this place and she was right, it was spot on great. I had the vegan gluten free burger with salad and she had the sweet potato with cheese as well as califlower rice and veggie all very delicious. Menue has something for everyone. Tried the 2 Acai bowls, Paradise and Almond Butter. Both were pretty good, very filling. Its definitely a shareable item. The fruits were fresh, didn't look old and weren't soft and smuchy. Ill be visiting again to try other items on their menu. read more

My son & I stopped in for takeout. When we opened the bag at home, we discovered that the tuna was missing from my salad, and my son was given rice when he had asked to sub out for quinoa. I called and spoke with Monica who apologized and immediately told me she would find a driver to deliver the tuna. In about 10 minutes a driver arrived with a bag containing the tuna, a new order for my son with the desired quinoa, AND a slice of carrot cake. Monica went above and beyond and turned a mistake into an opportunity to delight a customer, and now I will definitely return. Btw, all was also delicious! read more

Please get the incredible burger here; you will not regret it!!!!!!! I've been dying to try an incredible burger (not from Burger King though) and the one at Carro Express with a whole Platano Maduro on it is TO DIE FOR! I also paired it with the Green Goddess Salad; just as yummy with lots of avocado I savored every bite of that burger and can't wait til I'm back in town to grab another one.
