Decided to order their salmon Buddha bowl for $20 for takeout. However when I received it I was a little disappointed at the portion. Looking at the picture on their website I was expecting more salmon in my bowl and when I received it I felt like there were not enough salmon pieces as I would have expected considering the price of the bowl. They also added too much Buddha sauce in it where it was a little on the wet side for a bowl. The inside of the restaurant itself was spacious and clean and they did have their own parking lot. As you get to the area, just look for the Carrot Express parking signs. My partner and I were looking for açaí bowls (some of our favorite juice bars with açaí bowls in the area have closed recently), so we came across Carrot Express in our search. We entered and were greeted warmly by the staff and I ordered the Paradise bowl ($12.95). It came with a variety of fruits on top of the açaí base. Everything was very fresh and tasty and I also thought the portion size was generous. They also have a variety of fruit juices and smoothie options and they looked tasty as well. Full discretion I stumbled upon this place due to a Facebook promotion I received. They had BOGO Impossible Burgers and only because of this did I try them out. So glad that I did. The flavor of the burger was amazing. They even had a plantain within the burger that enhanced the taste by adding a sweet undertone. The bun was apt for the challenge and overall very filling. What also surprised me was the amazing side salad that came with the burger. Very hefty and delicious. I was in the mood to have a meal with cauliflower rice.. and when I hit the search button this place popped up. Luckily it was less than 10 minutes away. The parking lot in the front is very small, and it's right on Miami Gardens drive. Inside, small as well, with about 7-9 high tables to sit down on, there were also about 2 outside. Menu had a great assortment of options. You had smoothies, salads, wraps, bowls, and platters. You can substitute the rice for cauliflower rice or quinoa but it's an additional charge. Their most expensive platter is anything with fish - mahi mahi, seared tuna, salmon.. all starting at $20 and up. My meal was the platter with seared tuna with cauliflower mushroom and pepper rice, avocado, pico de Gallo.. add a water and I was up to $28... ( I had to convince myself it would be worth it) for LUNCH ! .. so a bit much.. but I have to admit it that the meal exceeded expectations. The seared tuna had a nice crunch to it because of the crust and was moist and flavorful. Best part of the meal was the cauliflower rice, it was worth the additional $3.. it had a savory, seasoned flavor that wasn't overbearing and complimented the seared tuna. The meal itself was great and filling.. I will definitely be coming again to try more of their menu.. along with if in the mood for that cauliflower rice and seared tuna. read more

And finally after we ate that my friend had stomachache,but I'm not surprised. Probably they don't wash anything there,since we found paper in salad and rotten avocado.
