RICK MILES, My recent service experience was the worst so…read morefar. Put that together with the notes/goals on your glass door to push your sales team to write up more services and you get what you offer in this department. They call dealerships like Kia Imperial Stealer-ships. As I waited in the service office, I heard the two other salesmen in the room offer the same "extra services" to all customers. Which, if accepted, would change a simple service/oil change of $109 into a massive bill of $800 + for services which it appears that all of us then needed at the same time???? You offered the same added 'opportunities' to all five of us in the service office. One poor young lady was 'forced', 'coerced'  into choosing 'just two' this time and maybe two the next time- she only came for a simple service...!!!??? Now she is stuck without groceries for two weeks because of your high-pressure sales techniques.  SHAME ON YOU!!!    I am incredibly disappointed in this dealership ever since they removed Jeff Alford as the GM. I look forward to sharing this with KIA corporate. You folks are shameless- sin-verguenzas. I am glad that my two Kia's are now approaching the end of their warranties so I won't feel guilty just going to an honest local mechanic that won't try to 'force me into ridiculous extra services. By the way- the video's that you send out, are only as good as the effort that you put into  making them. The ones I received were not done well.- the audio was almost not there- no explanation of what I was seeing and why it might be important to authorize the ever-appealing cabin airfilter replacement. For how much? double the price of Autozone or O'reilly's ... Plus labor of - for an act that you have already completed when you removed it and showed me the evidence of a poor filter and then put it back...??? How do I even know that you are showing me my filters and not just a pile of old filters that you have already swapped out?  - Those are the questions raised when you can't trust your dealership!!!  Try Building TRUST! That brings returns- not coercion - That loses customers- when you lose a 'twice hooked' KIA owner- You start to see the value, or lack of it, of your failed programs.  David Chamberlain

Overall, I'd rate my experience with Toyota of El Centro a 3 out of 5. I ended up getting the truck…read moreI wanted, but the process and communication could have been much better. I initially reached out for a trade in quote and had very little follow up. Compared to out of town dealerships, communication and effort just were not there. It was not until I met Jasmine at the fair that things started moving. She helped get the process going, but even then, follow up was delayed. At the dealership, the process took about five to six hours. Negotiations felt typical, starting low on my trade despite a higher initial quote. After going back and forth, they did come up significantly, but I felt like I had to push harder than expected. I was also on a time crunch, which did not help. Financing moved quickly, which can be good, but it felt rushed. The process was done in Spanish without asking my preference, which I should have spoken up about. A few details were not clearly explained before signing, which left me with some frustration afterward. Post sale support also fell short. I reached out about swapping or removing the running boards, and while they offered help, it came off more transactional than supportive, especially after just completing a deal with them. At the end of the day, I got the truck, but the experience did not match the level of service I have seen at other dealerships. My advice is to shop around, get quotes from other areas, and use that as leverage if you plan to buy local. Toyota of El Centro has the potential, but improving communication and customer care would go a long way.

We had it for 2 days, and it had multiple oil leaks from both the transmission and engine. So it goes with the back luck of the draw, we were told. After these issues were disregarded by the original salesman, what became even more unacceptable was the general sales manager's response. Miguel Salas entirely failed in his role. He first treated us with a veneer of understanding, before turning to being openly sardonic and dismissive once we made it clear how much we did not trust the safety of the defective car. He could not care less about the issues that arose with a brand new vehicle that was bought not 48 hours prior under his leadership. As we went back and forth for weeks attempting to find a fair resolution, his demeanor and behavior further deteriorated to being rude and vindictive. It's unclear how he has made it this far when he has no courtesy or respect towards clients in a conflict resolution setting. The only redeeming treatment we received was from Bryan Lopez in the service department. Any good the dealership could have claimed prior, is gone with Bryan's departure. We can only advise you to go elsewhere if you are expecting even a grain of professional decency during a transaction as significant as purchasing your next vehicle. Even with such limited options in the Valley, you deserve better than what you will receive here.

At one point, he asked to take a photo of my bank account showing my payoff amount using his personal phone, which immediately raised serious privacy concerns. When it became clear that no deal would be made, I asked him to delete the photo. He claimed he already had but refused to show me proof. Because of this, I had to involve his manager to ensure the photo was actually deleted. Once negotiations officially ended, Abraham's demeanor changed completely and became even more unprofessional. The entire experience felt invasive, disrespectful, and concerning from a customer privacy standpoint. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this place. For a better experience just make the drive to San Diego.

I arranged for financing through my credit union. We arrived at El Centro, and was texted to ask for Belen. We even had a confirmation email this morning confirming our 11:15am appointment. Upon arrival we met Belen, who looked on her computer, and said she was going to get the car. (Surprised that it wasn't waiting for us) 15 minutes later she comes back with a Honda, for 3,000 more, and tells us that it was sold the day before!!! Needless to say, we were furious. Talked to Rafa, the so called supervisor, who told me that if we had put down a deposit, they could have held it. Nobody EVER mentioned that, and Belen had said that sales were "first come, first served". She had also told us that there were several used Kona's on site, but Rafa said there weren't any more Kona's. DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

Be very cautious of any dealer that lies to you…read more These guys tried to lie to me and tell me that all these extra accessories items were factory installed even though they were not listed on the window sticker from the manufacturer. Don't trust the price you see on the site. It will always be around $3k more than what's is listed for "Factory installed accessories" . This is typical scummy dealer practices. First off, anything installed from the factory would be on the window sticker. Not an addendum or extra sticker. This is typical dealer installed junk that they overprice. Then they do things like charge $500 for nitrogen fill. Did you know that you can buy a 20 lbs tank of nitrogen, get it filled, buy the regulator and fill gauge for less than $500? and that 20 lbs tank will fit the 4 tires 8 times over? They are basically charging you $500 for about $5 worth of nitrogen. And don't get me started on the BS overprices theft deterrence items. Avoid this place if you can. Very greedy dealer
