Another terrible review for this dealership. They contacted ME because I have a leased Santa Fe and…read moremy lease was coming to an end. They wanted to get me into a new lease. Great! I want to be in a new lease for a new Santa Fe. There should be no problem, right? Well, I explained that one contingency would be that I have one car too many. So what I would like to do is sell them my Kia, turn in my old Santa Fe, and lease a new one. A little bit complex, but still not a big deal and they seemed amenable to this. The first person i dealt with collected a bunch of information. Had me send pictures of all the cars Vin numbers, blah blah blah, which I did. But after two weeks, we did not have any numbers. The whole thing became ridiculous. And they wanted me to run a credit check etc without giving me any sort of numbers to work with numbers like how much they were going to pay me for my existing car, and how much they were going to charge me as a base Price to calculate the new lease. I don't know about you, but if I'm selling a car, I want somebody to tell me how much they're going to pay for it . Similarly if I am going to buy a car. I want them to tell me the Price. They are going to charge me for the car itself (I was not asking for the monthly payment, rather the price of the new car). Well, when we finally spoke on the phone, some sales person hung up on me. When I told him that if they couldn't provide me this information, there was no need for me to run a credit check because I need numbers to work with to evaluate whether or not. I'm getting a good deal. But, the guy hung up on me. I sent a letter to the parent company and all the presidents, BP, etc. Somebody called back from the dealership and we're very apologetic Another flurry of texts went by. However, they would not tell me how much they were planning on paying for my Kia. Nor what they tell me how much they were charging me for the new Santa Fe. I suspect it's because they did not want to give me that information. Of course that's information that I would need to determine whether or not I was making a good deal for myself. I mean maybe they were going to pay me a couple grand less than Carmax. Maybe they were gonna try and charge me sticker Price or above. I don't know and I will never know because they absolutely refused to give me those two pieces of information. What they wanted to do was give me a deal and tell me what my monthly cost would be. But that's not a very good basis for evaluation. If you can't tell me what you're gonna pay me for my car and how much I am going to pay for a new vehicle, you're probably not creating a deal. That's in my best interest. These are bits of information that anybody has a right to know. Oh, and did I mention that this all took place over literally dozens texts over the course of three weeks? What a scammy way to do business. Anybody who won't give you the specifics about a transaction and Tells you just to "trust" them, that you will be satisfied with the deal is not booking out for your best interests. I don't think anybody in this company or their parent company cares very much about what is happening in their sales floor. But if they do, I am more than happy to show them all of the texts. Between all of the people I have spoken with. Run away from this company

We had it for 2 days, and it had multiple oil leaks from both the transmission and engine. So it goes with the back luck of the draw, we were told. After these issues were disregarded by the original salesman, what became even more unacceptable was the general sales manager's response. Miguel Salas entirely failed in his role. He first treated us with a veneer of understanding, before turning to being openly sardonic and dismissive once we made it clear how much we did not trust the safety of the defective car. He could not care less about the issues that arose with a brand new vehicle that was bought not 48 hours prior under his leadership. As we went back and forth for weeks attempting to find a fair resolution, his demeanor and behavior further deteriorated to being rude and vindictive. It's unclear how he has made it this far when he has no courtesy or respect towards clients in a conflict resolution setting. The only redeeming treatment we received was from Bryan Lopez in the service department. Any good the dealership could have claimed prior, is gone with Bryan's departure. We can only advise you to go elsewhere if you are expecting even a grain of professional decency during a transaction as significant as purchasing your next vehicle. Even with such limited options in the Valley, you deserve better than what you will receive here.

At one point, he asked to take a photo of my bank account showing my payoff amount using his personal phone, which immediately raised serious privacy concerns. When it became clear that no deal would be made, I asked him to delete the photo. He claimed he already had but refused to show me proof. Because of this, I had to involve his manager to ensure the photo was actually deleted. Once negotiations officially ended, Abraham's demeanor changed completely and became even more unprofessional. The entire experience felt invasive, disrespectful, and concerning from a customer privacy standpoint. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this place. For a better experience just make the drive to San Diego.

Despite it being late in the day -- and clearly a long one for him -- Christopher never once slacked or rushed. He was thorough, patient, and extremely knowledgeable, walking me through every single detail of my new SUV. I've bought several cars in my lifetime, but never have I had such an exceptional experience with a salesperson. Thank you, Christopher! You are truly the #HummerGuru -- I'm beyond grateful for your help and professionalism! I also want to take a moment to recognize Luis Salas, the finance manager at GMC Chevrolet in El Centro. From start to finish, Luis made the entire financing process smooth, stress-free, and transparent. He explained everything in detail, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I understood every part of the paperwork before signing. There were no surprises, just honesty and professionalism throughout. It's clear that Luis truly cares about his clients and takes pride in making the experience as easy and comfortable as possible. Thank you, Luis -- you made a big part of this purchase feel effortless!

I initially reached out for a trade in quote and had very little follow up. Compared to out of town dealerships, communication and effort just were not there. It was not until I met Jasmine at the fair that things started moving. She helped get the process going, but even then, follow up was delayed. At the dealership, the process took about five to six hours. Negotiations felt typical, starting low on my trade despite a higher initial quote. After going back and forth, they did come up significantly, but I felt like I had to push harder than expected. I was also on a time crunch, which did not help. Financing moved quickly, which can be good, but it felt rushed. The process was done in Spanish without asking my preference, which I should have spoken up about. A few details were not clearly explained before signing, which left me with some frustration afterward. Post sale support also fell short. I reached out about swapping or removing the running boards, and while they offered help, it came off more transactional than supportive, especially after just completing a deal with them. At the end of the day, I got the truck, but the experience did not match the level of service I have seen at other dealerships. My advice is to shop around, get quotes from other areas, and use that as leverage if you plan to buy local. Toyota of El Centro has the potential, but improving communication and customer care would go a long way.
