    Our tiny house...

    I received a recall notice for the suspension on my Vilano 5th Wheel. There are no dealers in this region and after calling 5 or 6 dealers, I contacted Carson RV to see if they could do the repairs. After a discussion with Brandon in the service department, he contacted the manufacturer and agreed to do the repairs. I am extremely pleased with the service I received and the quality of the work. I spoke with the service technician and he provided a detailed explanation of the inspection and repair process. I highly recommend this shop and the outstanding service provided. When a company will help out a customer without being solely focused on selling something, this is a company you want to do business with. I will absolutely do business with them again. Please help support this local business!

Chad, Ian, Don, Cheblis were all helpful thorough and professional from the moment we stepped on the lot last week through the delivery process yesterday. We were initially looking for a used trailer, but after listening to what was important to us, Chad had us look at a new one which checked all the boxes for what was around the same price but had many improved features. We had checked out other dealerships last weekend, but didn't encounter the same tactics at Michael Hohl. Similar to when we bought our Subaru from Michael Hohl a few years ago. Straight shooters without lots of games. No extra fees for delivery training and inspections and lower sales tax were also big pluses. If you're shopping through dealers, I'd definitely put them on the list.

    Needed to buy a dump trailer. It's been outside of town, but it had quite a few different models…read moreand sizes have dumped trailers. As I was looking at the trailers, a salesman came out to ask me if I needed help. I told him that I was looking for a 5 x 10 trailer. They had one on the lot. It actually looked used. It had dents and scratches inside, pretty dirty and no spare tire. I asked him if the trailer was used he said no that when the beds are shipped, as they stack a lot of stuff in them like tires and other trailer beds and so they get banged up. That's just the way it was.... Of course, when asking about the spare tire, he said it was $200 extra. The one thing he did tell me is since it was the last trailer this size, to go online and put a dollar down and it will hold the trailer for a week. So I did this. That gave me some time to shop around. While shopping around, I was able to locate the exact same trailer size, with a spare tire, tarp, spreader, for about $1000 less. So friendly and helpful but kind of gave me a used car sales type of feeling.

My answer was.... I do.. its a nona truck.... "well what's a nona truck"... I answered: "it's a NON OF YOUR DARN BUSINESS TRUCK", climbed up to my jeep and drove away! I'm a local, I own businesses locally, I own God knows how many trucks, trailers and toys and so do my friends.....you guys will NEVER see a dime out of us

We were at an RV Show in March (28 & 29) and that is where we decided to purchase this rig. We pointed out a number of things that needed attention to the rv. We were assured by a number of representatives (& the owner) that all would be good upon us taking possession on April 25. We arrived on Saturday, April 25 at 11:23 and were greeted by a man named Ted... a less than stellar interaction began. First of all, he was the person who did the entire PDI - Pre Delivery Inspection - & unfortunately it seemed that he had never looked at the rv... None of the issues on the outside of the Brinkley were repaired. He was shocked that we pointed these problems out to him. He didn't know how some of the exterior systems even operated. When we moved to the inside and we pointed out several issues, he rudely said "look, we don't fix things ahead of time, you gotta acquire the right, bring it back, and then we'll order parts and fix it"... are you sh!tt!ng me? So the sofa that was broken at the show in March is still broken over 30 days later. The microwave oven that has a blood curdling screech when you open the door is still there, and Ted laughed and said "oh, that's not that bad". So many other things he didn't that day was nonsense. When we went inside to finalize paperwork, Tucker was the man! Very easygoing and knowledgeable. He answered every question, helped with a number of items that had issues. He cares about customer service! Unfortunately, we could go on, but that email will be sent to the owner. He requested that we send him a detailed synopsis of our experiences.
