Anyway, I did not want to purchase this without knowing if it would pass smog. I called and talked to Bob personally. Definitely a good old boy. A bit of a sense of humor along with it. I asked him if he was available to do a quick smog check on the Subaru. He told me he wasn't sure if it was quick, but there was no one in line so I can get right in lol. Took him about five minutes (The Subaru did pass this morning, nothing to do with him, but it was pretty nice about it) it's a bit more expensive in Carson than in Reno. So don't be shocked when you pay $29 for something you get for $20 in Reno. Two days later I get a postcard in the mail thanking us for doing the smog and offering us a free lube and/$100 off on an oil change. Thank you Bob :)

So I found this place on Yelp, looked at the reviews and said I'll give it a try. I did the text option online, got Jeff. I gave him some options from their site I was interested in. He took down my needs and found me one that I fell in love with. It brand new, with solar panels, and the perfect size for my needs. From start to finish they showed they really cared they walked me through everything! They offered if I had any questions after purchase day I can call and ask. Which I've had to do, but nothing major, human error on my end. Doug who helped me setup and walked me through the whole rig was amazing he was patient with me and made sure I understood everything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Everyone there was super nice. They even were able to mount my own TV inside for me. (At an additional cost) but I love it!

Surprised, nope! What is disappointing, lack of follow through from owner, lack of courtesy, lack of professionalism! She explained the down time in obtaining parts, and we worked out good dates for drop off and work to be completed. My experience was well worth the extra drive after hearing nightmare stories of RV's being held hostage for several months at other service centers. We were initially looking for a used trailer, but after listening to what was important to us, Chad had us look at a new one which checked all the boxes for what was around the same price but had many improved features. We had checked out other dealerships last weekend, but didn't encounter the same tactics at Michael Hohl. Similar to when we bought our Subaru from Michael Hohl a few years ago. Straight shooters without lots of games. No extra fees for delivery training and inspections and lower sales tax were also big pluses. If you're shopping through dealers, I'd definitely put them on the list.

Not wanting to be disabled in the middle of Nevada, I called and they said bring it in. The service advisor, Tom Koche, provided me with a shuttle;e ride to my hotel, and said we will figure it out. Tom called and said the DEF tank (inside sensor) was at fault, and they didn't have one in stock so he sent for one at a Reno dealership...told me my truck would be ready at the end of the day. I was impressed. Not only was my truck being repaired, but the communication was great. I have had poor experiences with other Chrysler dealerships, (I mean possible!) but this was by far the best. And the shuttle drivers were great, they stayed in contact with me as far as when they would pick me up, where, etc. I would recommend the service department at Carson City Dodge. Gary S.

Now I get that not everyone does research before contacting for parts, so I know what I need before contacting. After more than a dozen messages back and forth in their time saving and convenient chat, nothing. You don't need my address and email, you don't need my payment info, just a simple yes or no answer would have given you 5 stars. I get why you want all that information. So you can sell my information and ini-date me and bother me with buying a new car or servicing my car. This is why Dealers fall so short on customer service, GREED!!
