Jordan and the crew are the epitome of customer service and professionalism. I took my rig to upgrade to lithium battery and other necessary upgrades for that, including proper charger for lithium battery as it previously had AGM. Also needed was DC to DC charger. While doing those installs, Jordan found a dangerous wiring addition from previous owner, connecting the hot 120wire to DC negative terminal of fuse panel. It was blackened and he was surprised it hadn't caught fire. There were other issues and he spent 10 extra hours fixing all those and did not bill for them. It is obvious that he cares very much for his customers and their safety. When I picked it up, he went over all his work with extensive detail and instructions on the new equipment. We stopped by on our way home from a camping trip when we had an issue with our solar. We had googled "RV Repair" and JD showed up on our route home. We stopped by and I went in and was immediately greeted by Derek at the front desk. I explained what was going on and he got up and went outside with me to investigate the issue. I wish I could give 10 STARS! I cannot begin to show my appreciation to JD RV!!! We purchased a brand new 35-foot class A diesel pusher from a "show" in Sparks. The "dealership" representing the show promised us that everything that we noticed on the day of the sale was covered under warranty. Well, here it is 3 years later, No warranty coverage for anything, no extended warranty coverage. Nothing. Decided to take it to JD RV. They Fixed EVERYTHING!!!! Yes, RVs are very expensive. Honest. Trustworthy. Great customer service. Once we set our mind to Battle Born batteries we needed to find someone to install the system. We live rather remote, so any of the authorized shops would be a several hour drive. If you are like us, you know how the RV repair landscape has a lot of good people, but also a lot of crooks. We went out for quotes, and by far JD RV had the best communication at this phase. All the prices were similar, so based on our initial reading we chose JD RV. We were not disappointed.They are definitely one of the good guys. Our new (2024) motorhome came with a minima/low qualityl solar/battery system. So we had the factory equipment removed and added 3 solar panels, 400 Ah of lithium batteries, a new controller and a new 3000 Watt inverter. Top of the line across the board. Not inexpensive, but will serve us well. We are going to drive to Alaska this summer. 3 months with several weeks being in Yukon where there will be few reliable power sources. As a major investment into our RV life, we wanted this to be right. Jordan, the owner of JD RV, took time to make sure we understood what was going on, including clearing up a couple of hiccups (my misunderstandings) during the process. I was wanting to improve the solar charging system and install 2 additional 12v 100ah LiFePo4 batteries because the current pair were not charging well on solar (200watt) or generator (50 amp). Jordan came out reviewed the options and costs then ran tests on our system to see where we were currently at and look for electrical problems. Jordan found that the 30amp battery breaker was incorrectly installed by Sprads RV where we bought the trailer and they had cracked the casing when screwing it down causing a short. After replacing, the current batteries are charging again and last through the night with only a half volt drop. Other repair is a wiring short to my overhead lights in the slideout. Due to the cost and time factor of tearing out the walls he provided a good low-cost work-around that was aesthetically acceptable. We now have lighting over the table for winter! First of all, I haven't had a chance to write the view on this because I've been thinking about all the things that I would like to say that aren't very nice about this place. First of all they gave us a bumper to bumper sale be our first 17 foot trailer 1977. They talked us into a bumper-to-bumper Evaluation so they've had the trailer for almost a month and when we go back to get it, my boyfriend's on the phone and so he tells me to take care of it and I get the list of things that they did to it. First of all they said it was bumper-to-bumper and when I asked him about The sewer department, they told me that they don't have a dump site so they couldn't look at the they couldn't they didn't check the toilet and they didn't check the black water tank because they don't have the proper dump on their site so next I go down the line and I see that they charge us $500 to do some work on the roof so I told him to bring over the ladder Then they have a guy that I want to check the water so they have another guy that comes out all I want is one guy to take me through each one of the things that they charge us for, but they can't do that and then they come out and tell me that they're gonna have to charge me another hour and a half for the information which I never got any of the information I get up on the ladder and I see that the only thing that they've done was a very thin line around that the top of it and then they look like they were trying to level it out in parts, but the side of that it was too much and couldn't handle it and so they charge us $500 for that crappy rendition of What was wrong, which was they needed to do the whole entire top. One of the covers was cracked and they didn't even try to do that then they tell us that they're trying to sell us on a refrigerator the whole time this refrigerator is one that goes into electricity and also to gas but they tell us that we need a new one so we tell him to forget that because it was too much they tried to get us to spend $1700 so basically I went to go pick up the trailer with a friend who knows trailers and we bring it up to his place in Lake Tahoe, and the trailer basically went from the owners that had it previously that said that they didn't use it for seven years to the repair place from the repair place to my friends house up in Tahoe, which he then went to go to open up the valve for the gray water coming out of the gray tank and a human shit comes out not just a small shit but a little shit and if it hadn't been used for seven years, it would be dried up and crusty which it wasn't like it was just put in there in the last couple days so that's another reason why I don't like these people. They made me cry because they didn't wanna give me the information because I was a girl and kept wondering who was going come over and give them a break my boyfriend and not ask any questions and just pay the bill which we did which I can't believe we did because nothing that they did was worth paying for whatever money that we did having that human shit come out in front of people in the neighborhood where I was at Completely embarrassing so we get go to Bernie man at least I painted the whole roof myself thank God because it rained for three days we did have a stove, of course but no refrigerator no toilet no water so we're gonna use this tent to camp after we plug everything in and there's water the refrigerator works with electricity And there's no leak coming out of the black water when we failed it so everything that they tried to sold us was fake. They charge us for everything that they didn't do and that they couldn't do but they left a shit for us in the bathroom. No, I wouldn't recommend this place ever so the woman who is the wife of the place kept telling me that her mother had died and she's going through all of her problems and that's why they're just shoving me out the door and just asking to be paid for it wrong. I can't believe it took me so long to write this review never go to this place. They have a new facility, but they are so backwards. They can't even answer a question or bring a ladder and tell a person how to use their brand new trailer. It might be used, but they were just trying to pull the wool over our eyes and trying to make us spend money that we didn't have on stuff that we didn't need to spend money on. On a very warm day we discovered to our dismay that our new 5th wheel A/C unit wouldn't work; the motor wasn't blowing air. When Bob arrived he listened to our tale of woe and assured us it was not unusual even on a new unit to have an issue, then began his investigation. Shortly thereafter he made his way to the rooftop and opened the unit-and began scooping out a birds nest from inside the A/C unit!!!
