It is that time for an update…read more Quality/Quantity - Okay, I rarely come to his mall. Very few stores that I frequent, until now. Thanks to Trader Joes! In the past we only came here for the following: Apple Store, Lululemon (taking a break from this brand now), Starbucks (only when it is on the way). Now we have added the following business to our list: Carhartt, Mt. Rose Wine Co., Reno Running Company, etc. Also, it helps us visit some of our favorite restaurants here - Land Ocean, Skipolinis, and Miyabi. Chipotle just opened, but we are not a customer any more. And a free standing Starbucks is STILL being built. Atmosphere - Huge mall that is rarely busy. Well, they are getting busier and busier again thanks to Trader Joe. Plenty of parking. Convenient location for us, easy in and out from highways. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 6pm or 7pm. Pet friendly, see the tiny dog park/area. Free wifi, I have not used it. Service - Good. Price - Good, some might say upscale. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2006. We were happy when you built this mall, too bad we have not been big customers until now. They sell them in bags of 8 now, instead of requiring you like before to buy two bags of six for a dozen bagels. The new price is basically $5.00 for 8, so I guess the price per bagel has gone up, but what hasn't. HERE IS THE BIG NEWS! THE BAGELS ARE NOW WATER BOILED! I saw the big sign on the wall, "water boiled". What that means is they're more like real bagels like you would find in an actual bagel shop, a more dense and chewy bagel, yeah like New York, I guess, even though I've never been. The previous bagels were basically fluffy beard donuts! Costco ended their association with Einstein's bagels (the bread donut ones) and now makes their own using water boiling before baking at each store. I tried them and, whoa, what a difference, it way better. Maybe not totally as good as an actual bagel shop, but way better than what they had before. I used to avoid Costco bagels, but not any more. I have an executive membership that can get us in at 9am and the food court is all ready to go at that time. Hot dogs for the road with a soda too even! They all go hell, yeah! So we pull in and it's just before opening at 9 am. Plenty of parking, not like those big city Costco's at opening. We go in and I have my membership card scanned and head straight to the food court. I go up to the little kiosk thingy and tap in 5 hot dogs and sodas ... $7.50 the feed the whole crew! plus a little tax of course. The staff whips those out in no time and we fill our sodas. I like they switched back to coke products, I like them better than Pepsi products. Over at the condiments, we all squeeze out the mustard, relish and catsup on our dogs and sit at the open tables. These are a little messy to eat, so better make a mess at tables, than inside the Suburban! This was a nice tasty treat in the morning to keep everybody happy till we get to Sacramento. This is a really nice not crowded Costco!

It's absolutely what I'd call a one stop shop but I did notice that a lot of their smaller sizes, at least within the women's items, were not in stock. Mind you I did go right after Christmas so possibly that's the reason but I did end up getting a phenomenal cow print faux fur jacket that stretches from shoulders to toes and my friend also got one too. It was listed at a fantastic sale price and there was no question once I found out it was discounted that we both HAD to have it-- and now that it's home with me, I absolutely don't regret it and cannot wait to wear it! While there, I was also looking at a really great distressed cowboy hat, but my friend decided she had to have it as well so as there was only one left, it was absolutely going to be for her!! :)

Carson St. and W. Winnie Lane, across from CVS and McDonald's. It has three current vacancies. Overall, I cannot complain. This plaza has necessary basic services like laundry, fast food, a full-service restaurant, insurance, dry cleaners, hair, etc. If you want higher-end, like a mall, then go there, but this plaza is practical for those who need the services offered here. There are three vacancies currently. There are the current tenants: All-State (David Smith) Bobby Page's Cleaners Glam Girl Handbags & Accessories Hair We R Los Garcias Mexican Restaurant Nails by Tracy P & L LaunderLand Subway (anchor) Liberty Tax Service used to be here a few years ago, but closed, as did Payday Loans & Checks Cashed. The one thing that would be nice for this plaza is if there were some handicapped parking spots right near the laundromat, with a curb cut, so clothes carts can be wheeled easily to your car. This plaza, despite being low end, is in a high-traffic retail area, across from McDonald's and CVS. It has potential, if it could land a major tenant. I give this shopping center three stars, only because it has more potential than is being used and it is lower-end, so it is not a destination spot, like a mall or outlet center would be. It also has a high ratio of vacancies to occupied stores.
