You just pay and walk in. No chairs or benches to change into you swim suit. I just dropped trou in the bathroom and changed out. There is limited seating around the pool. The swimming pool is small but there was room enough for everyone there that day. They have a nice water slide for adults and bigger kids. They also had a little slide for the younger kids. There were plenty enough lifeguards around and warned kids when they were playing unsafe in or around the pool. The also have a little snack shack that sells ice cream, hot dogs, and other snacks. The price was cheap. I don't think they're trying to make money off people. Seems like they just want people to be happy. If I ever felt the need to take a dip in a pool, I'd go there again. Beats swimming in the irrigation canals or ditches. I don't think anyone does that anymore.

Then when they open up at 10, they have long course and they're always several people in each lane because there's fewer long course lanes community patrons. So if you get there at 10:10, You're gonna have to wait at least a half an hour . I wish more community members were on the board of this pool helping to make decisions. This is supposed to be a community pool and I don't think it is serving the community well. They're closed Sunday.

There is an Endless amount of free towels you can help yourself to and a limited amount of lockers if you need to put things in for safe keeping. Also there is a roaring firepit here we roasted s'mores at we acquired from the front desk.

If all you…read morecare about is being able to jump in a pool on a hot day or swim laps for exercise (like me), you won't have an issue with it. If you care about safety and cleanliness, that's another story. In my younger days, I was a Lifeguard. I went through the months of training, CPR, physical exams, swim tests, life saving methods, etc. My point...I KNOW what Lifeguards should be doing and how they should conduct themselves. What I saw during my swim here was far from the standards I was trained with. For starters, aside from the Manager of the pool, the Lifeguards were all kids (to be fair, most are). Normally, that would be fine but the ones I observed the other day were not acting appropriately. I heard constant "F" bombs being dropped, they were staring at their phones, socializing with each other and their friends, etc. NO ONE was watching the water. Provided, it was adult swim hour, but all of the people in the pool (besides myself) were seniors. I'm confident that if something happened to one of them and they went under, none of them would've noticed until it was too late. On top of that, the locker room was filthy and the pool itself had a fair amount of debris in it. Provided, you're never going to keep all debris out of an open pool, but you have 4-5 staff members doing next to nothing so there was plenty of opportunity for one of them to scoop our debris/clean the locker rooms. It's not hard. Since I'm still a fairly strong swimmer, I'll still come here with confidence that I'll be alright and be able to get myself out of trouble should something happen. I would not, however, put the safety of my nieces and nephew in the hands of the Lifeguards I encountered on this day. If my young nieces and nephew were at this pool, my eyes would be dead locked onto them as I have ZERO faith that they would be helped in an emergency. Just my opinion.

The loungers and daybeds were comfortable, towels were provided, and everything was well maintained. The indoor/outdoor lounge is a great place to cool off, grab a drink, or relax in the shade, and the overall atmosphere was calm without feeling overcrowded. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you're looking for a relaxing pool day with a more upscale feel, I would definitely recommend it. We sold our tier one and two membership after Roddy got hired as caretaker because he started to…read morerip us off royally. He hired his two sons to work at the pool and paid them overtime! Then he insisted we pay him for travel to and from the lake even though he has a house there. Then he convinced the board to pay him life guard pay in addition to his regular pay!
