(For context, I'm an automobile attorney, so I know exactly what to look for.) Shockingly, they flat-out refused to provide it. That's a massive red flag. Any legitimate shop operating in Massachusetts should have no problem showing proof they're properly registered. The refusal alone tells you everything you need to know.
