I am really glad that I took my ICBC claim to this location. Partly out of convenience as when I had originally called they offered to come and pick my car up for me. They have really nice courtesy cars (and right beside the Ford dealership that I bought my car at). My car was ready ahead of schedule and when I picked my car up it was detailed and looked & smelled better than when I bought it. About a week after I picked up my car, the business called me to see if I was happy with the work that they did and if there was anything else they could do for me. The business is a family owned and not a big chain. But they care about the quality of work that they put out. This place continues to excel in the work they do. I returned to this place for a free detailing after a year and Dean was generous enough to honor this offer. I asked if I could pay extra for a wax and he even threw that in. I dropped off the car and they gave me a ride home and back. They worked on the car for 4 hours and the car looked brand new after. I'm very pleased with them. They are very helpful, professional, friendly and customer oriented. I wanted to say how amazingly happy I am and always have been about your services. To those that don't know, I have been to you guys 4 times now. And will always come to you. My door was broken and entered, my window b&e, my rear tail light hit and run, and recently a head on collision. You have been my saviors for many years but this time was above and beyond. I had a limited amount of coverage from the accident and I think it was 15425.00 and Dean searched high and low to help me by finding used parts, fixing some parts instead of replacing and saving every where he could so my car would not be a right off. I couldn't tell the difference between what they painted and the rest of the car. They even cleaned my car, inside and out, and gave me a discsount card for Petro Canada! I went to the location on gage in Hamilton and was not satisfied at all. I ended up getting my money back and old bumper put back on. So I get a quote was kind of expensive but figured was normal rate, I get a call and they say we have your bumper off and your going to need another part. When I got my quote that specific part was the main issue. So I wait around all day which was only supposed to be 2.4 hrs and without telling me they kept my vehicle over night. I was a little angry but anyone would. Poor people skills and they aren't very professional. I recommend no one goes to gage st location. Got my money back with a dirty vehicle and will take my business elsewhere. read more

We had an accident where we were found at fault and only had basic insurance so had to cover the cost of damages to our own vehicle. Tony did a fantastic job of sourcing parts from wreckers to keep the cost of repairs lower for the job. The CarStar team did fantastic work and kept us informed all through the process. I took my car in for some minor scratches after grazing a pillar in my parking garage. The cost to fix it was going to be over $1000. Since the scratches were so minor, Dean said that he could polish and paint it and I could decide if I was happy with the result. Needless to say, it looked MUCH better after the work was done and I was extremely pleased! When Dean brought me outside to look at the finished product, I even forgot which side of the car the scratches were on because I could no longer see them!! And the best part.... It was all done at NO CHARGE. I will definitely be using them again in the future! read more

Amazing customer service here! Dean and his crew were so wonderful, I was very well taken care of at their shop. My poor Toyota has been through some tough times in various parking lots throughout the city and has been bullied by other cars and even by a shopping cart! So I brought her in for some detailing and repainting. In no time flat, they had my car all washed, buffed, repainted and looking great! The 120th location is one I won't be returning to ever! My car has been there for over 3 weeks. No calls on progress or anything. I called everytime to get updates and when I called yesterday I was told my completion time was still today and to call again. Today I call am and told my car is being assembled and to call at noon for a time to pick up. Call at noon and find out my car isn't even there, it's at another shop! No car today! Doubt I will have it tomorrow or even this month with as slow as it's been! No sorry, no nothing, just it will be done tomorrow! Don't waste ur time or money on a place that could careless about your inconvenience. 0 stars for customer service and I won't be a returning customer. read more

Not good quality as they rushing their job to finish and beside promise me to paint the whole area in the end they did portion only. They offered free detailing but be careful its only the center part of the body. Its not recommended, just bring your car to other shops they can do better. read more

Amazing service I am absolutely blown away by these guys. I've taken my car in a few times and the latest was for my window which was broken in some place preventing it from rolling up and down. They told me Manufacturers don't make that part anymore (I drive an old 93 Buick regal) so they had to find one from a scrapyard. I had to go back a couple weeks later to get the part put in. When I brought it in, they gave me a ride home (which they always offer) and I got a call a couple hours later with some bad news. The part they received had been broken when it was pulled out of the car at the scrapyard in the same place mine was broken.. Complete waste of time, yes but it wasn't their fault so normally I would have to pay for the labour they put in.. Which was taking my window apart, putting it back, taking it apart again and putting it back again as well as calling around searching for a window replacement.. At least 5 hours If I'm not mistaken. Anyway it would have costed me way too much for nothing so when I got there I guess the owner, Jim heard of this and didn't want me to pour any more money into my crappy car so they didn't charge me a thing! Had my brand new 2016 mustang scratched from key west fords vinyl department when they were putting on my strip, only found out because I had replaced the stock spoiler on my car. Key west ford said they would then take care of it and sent it to this place "Carstars", when my car was finally brought given back to me their were a ton of problems a screw was dropped into my trunk lid and a paint bubble had formed near the edge of we're my aftermarket spoiler was put on, not only that but a giant scratch was put on my aftermarket spoiler from end to end we're the manager of carstars said that the scratch was already their when they got the car and showed me a tiny scratch under the spoiler which they had a picture of I asked what about the scratch on the top of the spoiler the big scratch and manager replied I didn't need to take more pictures of the spoiler because Their was already a scratch on it terrible service and none trustworthy employees and managers. read more

Called them to find out if they could do the detailing on the car scratches, whoever is on the other side of the phone sounded very impatient and said they are short staffed, which I completely understand, and was not planning to waste their time on the phone. Best service I ever had. I came here for ICBC claim. I don't usually like to write command but they deserve it.They take care your car just like they own it. I had a series scratch at my left side of the car from the accident. One of the professional technician, Jeff, he is not even fix up the scratch and also fix some chipped of my car which was not comes from the accident. I waited two weeks to be able to get my car. But when I saw my car got detailing inside and outside, I know it worth the wait. My car just like brand new from inside out. You won't regret. Jim is great and stands behind his work. My whole family takes their vehicles to him to get work done. He has done everything from paint to window repairs and fixed my my bumper when it was hit.
