Having done my research, I knew the paint would peel UNLESS sanded to the metal. They painted it, and had to repaint it again BECAUSE of the sloppy job they did when the clear coat started to peel. However they didn't argue very hard. I am having issues now with the paint bubbling. HOWEVER, what I have received is excuses from Dave backed up by the manager Joy (there's no joy in dealing with her). In other words, they have refused to fix my paint on warranty. This vehicle is near mint and meticulously cared for. DON'T ASSUME FIX AUTO WILL FIX YOUR PAINT ON WARRANTY, EVEN THOUGH THEY TOLD YOU IT'S WARRANTIED FOR LIFE. It's a sham! Do yourself a favour. Go to a reputable body shop that will stand behind EVERYTHING THEY DO like Scott's 180. ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! This shop has ZERO integrity--none!

Cam Clark Ford Service manager first of asked me if I wanted to replace it as most people just remove it because it usually gets wrecked. I said I have had it for 7 years already...you, Cam Clark Ford in Red Deer Alberta will be replacing for free and I will not be charged for it. They agreed...whoopie. No apology for the incident or the shit service. She did ask what she could could do to make it better, I said I just want my vehicle fixed so I can drive my vehicle to work. So she arranged for me to have a loaner, however at the 30 min before I was to drop my vehicle off at the dealership I get a call from Enterprise to confirm if I still need the loaner and that I will have use my credit card to put a 300 dollar deposit for it and that I would be responsible for the gas that I use with the loaner. Excuse me but you have a whole fucking parking lot with vehicles that I could have used while you fixed my vehicle the second time and lord knows hopefully correctly this time. Needless to say, I will never go there again and I will tell every person I know what they did and the shit service they provided. Don't believe the positive bullshit reviews because this is a honest one.

I called 2 places for an appointment to get an estimate for a minor repair. Carstar was able to get…read moreme in the next day after work which was much faster than the first place I called. They explained my options and also heard what my needs were and allowed me to to make the decision. I ended up paying for the repair which sped the process up. I was called as soon as the part was in and was able to get the car in to finish the repair fast and efficient which was what I needed. The repair took less time than I was told. Yes you read me correct ,a towing company that can and will work with you to get your vehicle back , and not against you so that they can profit off of your misfortune,like far to many other towing companies out there. The guy that came to get my SUV was nice and I could tell he did truly feel bad for my situation, but had a job to do all the same .We joked about My Ford Escape having to be boosted every time I wanted to start the thing ! It was a welcome attitude and smile after what I had just deal with ! Knowing it would be atleast a week until I got paid and could even consider getting my SUV out of towing jail . So when I did call the office to see how much I would have to pay to get my only running vehicle out of impound , there were tears rolling down my face . I have had this situation before and no fault of mine but it still cost me in the end and I lost a good car because of it ! But Darcy and the driver ( sorry forgot his name) worked with me so I was able to affordability get my SUV back ! This would not have been the case with at least one other local towing company out of Didsbury !! Yes I understand this is a business and they are not running charity,and I do know (was married to the fleet mechanic of one of the largest towing company in BC back in the day) first hand that the job these guys do is most times a dirty one ! Tell me honestly more often than not, your not happy to have to call a tow truck as it always means something has gone wrong and that means $$$ Or the other end where the police are involved and they have it impounded from anywhere 24 hrs to 30days ! The drivers put their lives on the line almost daily with most calls,and never know what will be at the other end of the call out when they get to them ! Anyway you look at it, A) It's a dirty job someone has to do B) Try being respect before you start swearing , sometimes it makes things go much smoother for yourself and the company .
