They are kind, knowledgeable, and supportive, but the front office and administrative side has been consistently frustrating. The administrative staff is disorganized and unprofessional. They frequently mix up appointment times, give conflicting information, and make even simple tasks feel unnecessarily difficult. They don't use email or an online portal to send updates, test results, or appointment confirmations, which makes it almost impossible to keep track of anything. Everything has to be done by phone, and the communication is often curt or dismissive. Another major frustration is that any time I need bloodwork, I have to schedule a completely separate appointment with a third-party lab instead of being able to do it in-office. This makes routine prenatal care far more inconvenient than it needs to be. I really wanted to have a good experience here, especially since the clinical care from the midwives has been positive, but the front-office management has caused so much stress and confusion that I'm choosing to switch practices. I hope they improve their administrative processes and communication in the future.

The office staff takes ownership of my questions/concerns. Gets answers and stays courteous. Dr. Abell advised me to have a procedure, under general anesthesia. As with many things related to female reproductive health my concern were the lab results. Dr. Abell is generous with her time, well informed and shared with me that while the results could be problematic, she'd seen four cases of the thousands she'd performed over a lengthy period (I don't remember, 5 years, 10 years) were positive. That changed my outlook from bracing for the worst to expecting the experience to be unremarkable - which it was. The remarkable bit is how wonderful have been my interactions with every member of the team. I wish every physician shared her approach. I can't say I'm looking forward to my next visit - she is a gynecologist but, I trust I'm in good hands and will be treated well.

This dr wants to retire and at this point is doing more harm than good by staying in such a chaotic office only contributed to the agony of dealing with a chronic infection. I was extremely nervous about going in because everyone had tried to talk me out of doing anything to my lips. Although I already love my lip shape I just felt like my top lip wasn't proportioned correctly. I went in knowing nothing. I had a few friends who had previously gone to Dr. Lara for what is called a "lip flip". I walked in and was welcomed by the young man at the front desk who was extremely friendly. I was then taken back by the assistant (I don't know if that's what your called so I apologize) who was so sweet and friendly. I felt so comfortable as the assistant explained everything and prepped me with numbing cream. After a few minutes Dr. Lara walked in and acted as if I've met her a million times before. She explained how I had a perfect lip shape and that she suggested I start off with a lip flip rather than fillers. I couldn't be more happy with my results! I have received so many compliments! I've already started referring my friends and others to this location just because of the amazing experience! It is subtle, but still able to tell a difference. I have also personally been dissatisfied with many of the local OB/GYN doctors and am highly skeptic of their Yelp reviews. As they say, ask a nurse for a doctor referral. Here is my deeply honest opinion. Dr. Troy Williams is one of the BEST doctors I have come across as a doctor/nurse relationship. I changed and skipped around before finding Dr. Williams as I was dissatisfied with care from others. He is the most compassionate, kind, sincere doctor I have on my health team. If you would like a female, he employs a great Nurse Practitioner too. I can assure you, he spends time, makes your health a priority, and spends the time to answer all your questions (no matter how long it takes). You will be so happy when you contact his exceptional staff, NP and Dr. Troy Williams. You are treated like I wish all doctors would treat patients. Take it from a nurse!
