We came here on a Sunday around 10:20 Am and we're bummed because the sign on the door said opens at 11 am but the lady let us in! She was very friendly and helpful as we walked around the store. We went in for some sandals and didn't find some the right size. So then she offered to buy them online with her and they can ship them to us! For free!! Went in as I usually do weekly and have to admit that the worker bees are always friendly and kind, but the manager always has a sour look on her face and appears to be very put out if you need her assistance. Kind of unwelcoming when one is happy to spend money buying baby and kid gifts only to be met with an unfriendly and miserable manager. I have to keep my review short and sweet about this store. I have actually not bought anything there but have browsed through the store and talked with customer service people a couple times as well. They have guided me around the store and were all very friendly and knew all about their brands. They seem to have a large assortment for both male and female and they have these huge sales and really nice clothing. I will be keeping this store in mind for when i have to buy a gift for a toddler :) I was very impressed by what I saw. Will comment later on as well when i buy something. I've bought almost all of my baby's clothes from carters but online. They are having a great Black Friday sale right now. I had bought a lot of items about a month ago online when there was a sale, thinking the prices couldn't be that different in another sale. I was wrong. I asked their online consumer service for price adjustment but they only allowed it within 14 days. However the return window was 90 days. Make it make sense. I ended up buying all the items (plus some extras) online and found this store to return the old order and also pick up an item that was only available for pickup in store. The manager had to help find my order but it went with a hitch. She then helped me return the order. Make sure you have the email that says your items are shipped handy. It has a barcode that well be needed. The manager was so very nice. I was honestly embarrassed to be returning such a large order but she didn't give me even an ounce of grief. I so very appreciated that. The store was very organized and well stocked. I'll definitely be back to shop in store. read more

My AMX had an offer for a $5 credit if I spend $20 at Carter's and I needed to get baby shower gifts for several coworkers. The clothes here are typically more expensive than the Carter's sold at Macy's, Target or Costco but they have REALLY good deals. I bought some basic layette that were on clearance for an additional 30% off and I found swim attire for my boys, also 30%. They also have a rewards program because to top it off, I got an additional $10 to spend the next day without buying anything !!! Don't have kids but I love coming here to buy for other people's kids. It always seems like there is a sale going on (I'm sure that's some kind of marketing ploy aimed at women) but I never feel ripped off like at some other stores. The clothes are really cute and stereotypically separated into blue and pink sections...from preemies and newborns to a size that kids are far too old to be getting clothes from here....maybe 14/16? Not too sure on that...but they have some big-un clothings in here. Anyway, they have an email or points system that you can rack up some pretty decent discounts if you shop here enough. Clerks/storepeople are quite helpful and the store is very often incredibly organized considering the sheer amount of clothing in there and bad kids running around making messes. read more

I was looking for a dress for my babe for an upcoming wedding and the childrens store at The Shoppes hardly had ANY selection of dresses but here they have tons of dresses for 6-9 months and summer clothes. I love this store an staff! I am a frequent flyer there since I have seven children. The staff always remember me and are always so good to me. The last time I went shopping there I earned about $50 in rewards and I had lost my receipt. The staff was so helpful they figured out a way to reprint my receipt and made my day. I really enjoy shopping at Carter's for my little boy. This location is close to home which makes it all the better. The workers for the most part are friendly and helpful, but I kind of feel Iike a few of the workers have a bit of an attitude. I hardly shop here without my coupons because I wouldn't pay full price for anything. It's not worth the full price. Plenty of parking space in the large lot. Doesn't get too busy. Too bad they recently changed their special. Now it's "Spend $50, get $10 off." I actually prefer the "Get 5 stamps and get $10 off (on Tuesdays you get double stamps!). read more

I love carter's since they make wonderful clothes that are made well and last wash after wash. Lot of my daughter's clothes come from here and you can find tons of stuff for cheap. They always seem to have sales and I once got like 4 tops for $3 each.....score! Toddlers make messes and carter's clothes hold up ....so you can hold onto them in case you decide to have more children and they will still look nice. Will never go to this location again. My friends and family shop the Brea location and I will be going there from now on...the blonde girl at this location didn't honor what her employees told me about a refund. Went in again today to get a Christmas Sweater for my babies first Christmas and was treated completely different by the manager herself then I was a few weeks ago. She asked me if I was the one who left that review which I was honest and told her my personal experience. This Carters store is much more professional compared to the Eastvale store. I kid you not, I drive to this store from Eastvale to shop here for my son. I live by the Eastvale store, they have lost my online orders on several occasions and didn't even apologize, so now if I do an online order I only ship it to Chino and have never had an problems. the whole store is 40% off so they make you think it's a good deal but they jack up their prices. the clearance might be the only deal. my last visit in there was my last. the girls are rude and have poor customer skills. make sure when you purchase or return you get your original receipt. otherwisie they will keep it and then you cant do a return. even if it's a small amount of money... you can go to nordstrom rack next door and get way better deals on kids clothes. read more
