Looks like they're trying to prey on people's kindness. Every time I come to this store they're here walking up and down the parking lot wanting money from people either coming into or out of the store. This is at night too. They will try to come close to your cars too. Not good. People could have card readers and whatever else to get your personal information. Maybe they need to start having security here in the parking lot to push away the scammers.

I was in need of new cookware, as my olld Caphalon frying pans needed to be replaced. Today I was able to buy an 8 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch frying pan with a lid, all for $115 (Green Pan)!! I was also looking for comfortable walking shoes that were somewhat water resistant and found a pair of lined Skechers slip-on shoes that were snug but not tight, very cozy, black, on clearance for $40. Perfect. Both of the staff at the checkout lanes in their respective departments were helpful and friendly. I think I even saw a manager on the floor, who bid me a good day, which was a nice touch. I kind of like the fact that the checkout counters are more centralized, one on each floor now, though it took getting used to. JCP feels more inviting, spacious, bright, and organized. Apparently, basic patience and compassion are too much to ask for at this location. If an employee can't figure out how to speak appropriately to a child especially after being made aware that the child has special needs then maybe customer service isn't the right job. JCPenney should seriously reconsider who they have representing their store. We certainly won't be coming back to this location or any at all for this matter.

It's a Japanese discount store chain that has everything you may need ranging from crafting tools, stationary, tableware, toys, and unique snacks/drinks. Their pricing system is as follows: Items that are not marked cost $1.75. Items marked ¥150-¥165 are $2.25, ¥200-¥220 yen are $3.25, and so on. I attached a few pictures that shows the kinds of items the store has along with the pricing list. You can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour browsing in this cute shop. The one thing that really threw me off was the checkout process. The cashier kept calling the next person in line even though the customer being helped hadn't fully cleared the area yet. You end up squeezing past someone who is still waiting on their receipt, and it creates this weird, awkward moment where nobody knows where to stand. It felt rushed and uncomfortable, and it's something they really need to fix because it makes the ending of the visit feel messy. The parking lot also gets a little sketch after sunset since the lighting isn't great, so I definitely prefer coming during the daytime. I picked out a pair of Nike shoes and asked an employee about the price because there was no price tag on the shoes. She told me they were $49.99. I also noticed that another pair of the exact same shoes had a $49.99 price tag, so naturally I assumed that all the same shoes were the same price. However, when I got to the checkout, the cashier told me the shoes were $59.99. I even went back and brought her the exact same shoes with the $49.99 price tag to show her. She still insisted that my pair was $59.99. I asked her how the exact same shoes could have a $10 price difference and said that it didn't make sense. I also explained that if the price was actually $59.99, then I had wasted my time finding and bringing these shoes to the register based on the $49.99 price I was given. Her response was, "I'm the cashier. You're wasting my time too." I was honestly shocked by her attitude. I was simply asking about a price discrepancy and trying to understand why the same shoes were being charged differently. To make things worse, she also forgot to scan a keychain. I had to point out that there was still an item that hadn't been scanned. Instead of simply correcting the mistake, she accused me of being rude. I understand that working as a cashier can be stressful, but customers have every right to ask questions about pricing, especially when the store has inconsistent price information. There was absolutely no reason to speak to a customer in such a disrespectful manner. Very disappointing customer service. I hope management looks into what happened and provides better customer service training to the staff.

I think that the AMC theater and the Main Event arcade and bowling are the main draw.
