With the holidays quickly approaching, there's plenty sparkly holiday gear, as well as "Ugly" Christmas sweaters. There's a nice variety of holiday decor for your home. Depending when I go, the line to checkout can be pretty long, but they have several cashiers working, so it's a pretty quick process.

Madewell only sells women's items, mostly clothing, as well as shoes, purses and accessories. The store is styled very tastefully, so it's easy to see everything with the first glance. The staff always welcome me when I walk in and ask if I need help finding anything. They're never overbearing, and respect personal space. I'd shop here much much more frequently if the prices were a bit lower.

Spring and Summer have simultaneously arrived at Gap Factory. With breezy cotton fabric tops and bottoms, in delicate, soft yellows and other pastels. You'll find items for men and women, while in the store next door you'll find items for baby and kids. Despite this being a Gap Factory store I found most items a bit higher priced. I did find a very pretty dress for only $12. The cashier was friendly. I would stop by again when in the area.

I'm a fan of this Marshall's; it's big, clean, and organized. It is very similar to the HomeGoods (which is owned by the same company) in the same plaza. I love their clearance racks which can be found at the end of the aisles. A great place to bargain shop. I've always loved TJ Maxx and Marshall's is essentially its sibling. The following types of products can be found at Marshall's; footwear, clothing, bath, bedding, home decor, furniture, beauty products, jewelry, housewares, toys, giftware, and per supplies. I loved their candles and random skincare, and soaps. The clothes were pretty decent if you dig around the racks. The employees were friendly. Overall, a fun place to shop and you can find some treasures; as their slogan says, "Your surprise is waiting and never boring, always surprising."

However, when I went to the register to make my purchase today a grouchy old lady with a huge stick up her a** had the nerve to tell my twin 9 year old sons to not touch the candy bags on display if they weren't going to buy them. I quickly wondered why she would ASSUME we weren't going to buy them and I asked her if she was in a bad mood. I followed up by saying that I've never heard that people can't look at candy bags or show their parents for possible purchase. She said that many customers won't buy an item if it has been touched. WOW! Is all I can say. The nerve. Everything is touched in their store! Candles are smelled, pillows are squeezed and the list goes on. This lady had some nerve and even the manager behind her told me it was fine if my kids picked up and looked at the candy bags. I mean what's the point of having tiny gum-ball machines right next to the register if NOT TO ENTICE children?!!!!! Anyhow, people are just rude and all I can say is that if you're damn near 80 years old and working at Marshall's just chill the F*ck out. You don't need to act like you own the store and try to make up these crazy rules to try and assert your non-existent power. Maybe CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU. If you do have grandkids I pray for them because you do not know how to talk to or treat children.

So of course we headed to Claire's in the Canton Shops. Today, walking in the store brought back so many memories, and watching how excited my daughter was to pick out all of her new jewelry made my heart so happy. I love this store they have the buy 3 get 3 free mix and match necklaces bracelets and hair accessories!!! All of the jewelry is so adorable and has many different age appropriate things. You can't beat the prices, my daughter was able to get 5 necklaces, a headband, and a pair of earrings for only $34 and the stuff She picked out was so adorable !!! It was a fun mommy and daughter mini trip . The staff was so friendly in helping us with everything they even have rewards so next time I will get 20% off!! I personally don't care for the upselling at the register - I appreciate earrings are buy 3 get 3 free, but I only want one pair and why would I spend an extra $16+ just to get three free earrings I don't want to begin with?
