Old Navy has come a long way in the past 15 plus years. Their items are trendy, of quality materials, and their tops no longer feature their logo all across the chest. The Old Navy in Evergreen Walk is so large that they have two entrances. The inside is well organized, with men's items to the left, women's to the right and the children's to the rear of the store. Their assortment of summer dresses are made of breezy cotton fabrics with delicate prints. I have purchased a dress here each summer and it's been my casual or beach staple every year. Same applies to their tee shirts. They currently have a very cute Disney Collection, if you happen to be visiting a Disney park, I would pick up some of the tops at Old Navy. One thing I would never do is pay for anything full price! Things are pretty pricey full price. It is not hard to catch a sale. If it's not in store, it's online. If it's not this week, it'll be next week. One thing I was surprised to find at this Old Navy, were their formal dresses. They have a collection called The Occasion, they are trendy, colorful and affordable. One of them looked like something I've seen on Ariana Grande. This Old Navy has all the latest trends. I like this Old Navy! It's large in size so it has more clothing options and lots of great sales! I've been able to get jeans, sweaters, work out wear, pajamas, t-shirts, and some casual work-wear. Today's experience proved pretty good. Lots of sales people on the floor which makes it helpful when looking for a particular size or style. I tried on 3 pairs of jeans, decided on 2. Bought a cute blouse for work. It was the start of the Labor Day weekend, most everything was 40% off. Like I said, good for sales! As I got in line to pay (i remembered my reusable bag), the movement was so slow. There was about 3 patrons ahead of me and about 4-5 behind me. There was one cashier on the registers. No one was getting impatient, but it seems like someone could have helped out? I'll def go back. I like this store better than the one in West Hartford. read more

I don't know if this was an isolated incident or what but I went into the store the other day to return some items. There was 1 person behind the register and many employees milling about the store. The line started forming with the 1 and only cashier. While standing there for as long as I was I couldn't help but notice how dirty the store was. Food crumbs of some sort scattered all over, hangers on the floor etc.... Just kind of turned me off how filthy the place was. Like I said maybe an isolated incident but nonetheless it shouldn't have been an incident to begin with. Open the store and inspect before opening up to customers. I like the merchandise at Old Navy. Good solid casual wear, but I don't understand why they only have one or two cash registers open when the lines are wrapped around outside the waiting area. There are plenty of people working on the floor, why not pull a couple to ring when it gets busy? This seems to be a pattern here judging from other reviews. You'd think management would take notice. I love Old Navy but I don't enjoy the messy, crowded store that has limited items to offer. I really enjoy shopping on Old Navy's app, but the shipping takes forever. You also can't filter by price low to high like you can on most apps. I do like the clothes, fit, and prices. I shop at Old Navy online very often. I do think the super cash is a joke. You really can't use it on anything. They should come up with a better rewards system to thank loyal shoppers. The shopping lines at this specific location take a long time to get through. read more

There seems to be a surplus of people every where but at the registers. It is especially pleasing to be standing in line for three times as long as it took me to shop AND try on cloths all while behind screaming baby's with dirty diapers. This place only seems to hire unhappy people, although i feel like during the night time there is a better mix of energetic people, there staff in the day all looks like they are doing a droopy dog impression. Selection of the colors you don't won't is really good. Mens pants and the clearance area is a nightmare... Word of advice try everything on before assuming you are good. As a guy i rarely try on but there pants have so many ranges of fits and they are all lumped together that it is B-A-N-A-N-A-S. read more

You really have to want the deal badly to balance the disaster that is this store. It consistently appears as if a tornado went through. Once you hunt for your deals, which you can find, service is the next challenge and I wish you all good luck. Waiting in line for 10 minutes... There was only one customer ahead of me but one very slow paced cashier. Other staff came and went, unaffected when asked for help. On the positive side, you can learn the staff's life stories by waiting in line for so long. Summary: decent deals but you pay for it in a different way. read more

The selection in the store is good. But there are overly long lines with too much staff on the floor and not enough at the cash registers. And the staff on L the floor were not asking if anyone needed help. I hunted someone down in order to ask if I could take an item off a mannequin because it was the only one left in my son's size. I was first asked if I was going to buy the item. When I replied yes, I was then told I could not because it would be counted as inventory. I'm not sure why that mattered or why they couldn't take the larger size and put it on the mannequin and let me have the size I needed. I waited in a long line and purchased a larger size, and I will exchange it at another location which will hopefully have better customer service if they do not fit. read more

Very clean inside. Staff was extremely friendly and helped us to find many things. Not much of a selection for each individual, but a huge selection overall. A few jeans, a few coats, a few sweatshirts, but only a few for each age and gender. Parking lot had a ton of spaces, especially considering where it was. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering its location, this is a given. I would definitely stop in if I was in the area, but I would not make a special trip. If you are at the Evergreen walk plaza, stop by and check out there merchandise, you never know what you will find. read more

Every time I go into the store it is such a mess. It's just not set up the best compared to the Enfield store. I was in last week and found three things that I was going to purchase and went up front to pay and the lime was long. There was only two cahiers. This seems to be a problem every time. Unfortunately I had to put things back as I had to be somewhere for 2 pm and it was 130 pm . This place has some serious sales come summer time. Not really my type of store in terms of clothes but ill pop in here for the basics now and then and they never let me down. Seems like every time I come here though there is always a ridiculous line due to the lack of cashiers. read more

This store is really a hit or miss for me. Sometimes you find great deals on things that you like and those days are awesome. I have found excellent sandals, shorts, and sweaters here. And who can pass up $2 flip flops? But often you don't find anything you love... and if you do, good luck finding your size/color/the one that you actually want. Because we all have preferences on what we like and don't, but overall what really bothers me about this store is the lack of organization. The jeans walls is always a mess. Good luck finding what you want! Clearance is right near the entrance to the dressing room and both that section and the dressing room area are once again a mess. Came in for jeans left with much more the day after Christmas was a steal. so glad I waited. the counter staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their jobs, some of the racks are in shambles thanks to the eager clientele scrambling for the bargains. I haven't been in old navy in a long time. After my recent and last visit I will never go there again. There were clothes all over the floor. Stacked really high and messy on tables. Nothing was in the right spot according to prices and discounts. No one asked if we needed help. Employees were on there phones ignoring customers and the messes everywhere. Every aisle I went down I was stepping over piles of clothes. Why is the managers doing anything about it. Even the district manager. So disgusted. Ugh. read more

Just went here recently for the Saturday $1 flip-flop sale! My mom got 6 and I got 4, here size 8 was easier to find than my size 9. Since the limit was 5, I bought one of her's with my purchase. Wait was 45 minutes to an hour, but the savings was not completely worth it since usually they are $2.50 or 2 for $5, but I did save so it was good. I don't go here for fashion reasons, usually just for their flip-flops and odd accessories items that are placed when you are waiting in line for the register. read more

Every time I go into the store, the area for jeans is a complete DISASTER! Jeans are on the floor, hanging off the shelves, not folded and never in the correct place for size and style. I love the prices and fit, but I always hate going there to try to find jeans. read more
