Tuesday, 2-11-2025: I come here a lot to buy gift cards for friends & to browse. The staff is always so friendly & helpful. This time I eyed some cute clothes on sale for my 7 year old grandson so I couldn't resist buying a few things. Since he turns 8 this year I chose size 8. The kid is tall---he's grown up too fast! The store is always immaculate, bright, organized, and everything is displayed nicely. There are so many cute clothes available & accessories in every kid size. It makes shopping so tempting. The ongoing sales today offered up great bargains this grandmas could not refrain from purchasing. The young lady, who rang me up was so sweet. I asked to take a photo but she was too shy. This store is very organized and clean. I love coming to shop for my four month old however the employees are extremely rude 90% of the time and it makes me not want to shop here which is unfortunate because the clothes are so cute and priced well. read more

This location is surprisingly organized and well run. The prices on their babies and kids clothes are reasonable. I can afford to dress my son up for each day of the week without breaking the bank. Newborns are the worst with blowouts and $hit! Onsies and striped outfits are in I guess. My son's drawers are filled with endless tips, bottoms and socks from here... mixed in with a bunch outfits from Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack lol. The associates were super friendly and helped me get in and out in a flash which was just after the Christmas rush. I'll be back for sure since my son will need more colors to add to the mix. read more

My sister had a premie and I came here in a hurry to get clothes to fit her. Jazmine was the BEST. She helped me pick out a ton of stuff and even checked clearance and the back for premie sizes for me. She was so kind and helpful, even though I'd never been there before. The manager greeted me. I was standing in line when the employee offered me a basket and rang me up because I told her I was ready and waiting in line. She didn't know how too talk or do customer service she couldn't apply my carters rewards and when I showed her my coupon she look at me lost she didn't know how to apply either. Went in today with my toddler and my mother and was looking through pajama sizes. An employee overheard me tell my mom I was bummed they didn't have a size, she came right over and told me she could order it and have it shipped for me. She went above and beyond and was so helpful. My toddler who is 2 was also a little wild and very loud and the employee was so nice and friendly to her. Wish I remembered her name but she had dark brown hair and glasses. read more

I attempted to return/exchange a set of long sleeve onesies, was told that the ones I was looking to return/exchange... were part of a set of 5 not 4. I came home and looked for the one I thought I misplaced and when I couldn't find it... I looked it up online. Turns out it's a set of 4. Now I have to go tomorrow to exchange them kind of annoyed since they could've easily looked it up themselves at the register. Store was clean and organized. We went in one day because all my friends rave about Carter's and thought we'd check it out since it looked like there were good sales running. The baby needed new jammies and we ended up buying a bunch, plus shirts and shorts sets for upcoming warmer weather, jammies for little big sister and some clearance winter clothes for big brother to wear for soccer. One thing I like about Carter's is that they cater to bigger kids as well. Alana was super friendly and so helpful. She made our visit enjoyable and is a shining example of amazing customer service. We sadly didn't have any coupons and couldn't access my rewards account for whatever reason, so on top of the 40% clearance she gave us an additional 20% coupon as well. A great deal for the amount of clothes we bought and I was so excited, I couldn't wait to come back to use my $10 rewards I just earned. In the meantime, I also did an online shopping order to stock up on more sweats and jackets for soccer, but ended up going back into the store to shop some more for the baby. I priced my items to be able to use the email coupon I received (I came in prepared this time) an additional 25% off $40 purchase and I was up to $46 so perfect! 25% off PLUS my $10 rewards, what a deal! I went to checkout and the cashier, Margarita was just beyond miserable. Not friendly at all, so unhelpful and terrible at explaining how the rewards/coupons worked in conjunction. I was not aware that the $10 rewards was applied first so my total was brought down to $36 and instead of even telling me or giving me the option to get something else to get to $40 and utilize my 25% off coupon, she automatically just gave me the 15% off a $25 purchase which I didn't realize until I left the store. I wasn't about to go back in to deal with her lack of customer service and I was seriously turned off. I will most likely not return due to this most current experience. Sam's Club and Costco sells some of these same sets for cheaper, plus you can snag some sweet clearance finds at Target as well. If I wanted crappy service, I can just go to Walmart and pay half the price. read more

I had a bad experience with this store On Wednesday, December 11, 2019 while I was in Temecula, CA, I stopped in the Carters/OshKosh store to buy something for my grandbaby.  I was helped by a salesclerk who was ordering something for me online because they didn't have the size I needed.  She was very helpful.  There was a new girl on the other register and she was struggling with a customer's coupon purchase.  The salesclerk traded registers with her and I now had the new girl (I don't know her name, she had a big tongue piercing ). She struggled to figure out how to do the online order.  She asked for help and once she did that, she struggled to adjust a price that was ringing up wrong.   Then a third person came over to finish ringing me up.  I had been at the register (not in line, but at the register) for my 3 item purchase for 15 minutes.  I was meeting someone for breakfast and the long transaction was making me late.  Fortunately, this third salesperson was fast on the register, but she did not have good customer service skills. Me: That was frustrating.  It took a long time for that one order. Her: Well, sometimes that happens. We all have to start out somewhere (something like that) Me: It's Christmastime, it would be nice if the salespeople were properly trained on the registers. Her:  Well, we have new people working.   This is the time of year that we hire seasonal employees, it's just how it is.   As I was leaving the register with my purchase she called out to me in a sassy voice, "Try to have a nice day." I was so bothered by her attitude.  Good customer service would look like this-  Me: That was frustrating.  It took a long time for that one order. Her:  I'm sorry about that. She's new and she's just learning. That would have been the end of the conversation.  Just an "I'm sorry".  She could see I was frustrated, but she insisted on having the last word.  Customer service used to look like employees trying to keep the customers satisfied.  I wasn't asking to be babied, I wasn't asking for special treatment, but I was frustrated and I sure did not appreciate her sassy attitude. I felt like I was talking to a sassy teenager, not an employee of a well known store. All that to say, I will not be going back to this Temecula store.  The new lady, and the one that first helped me did a good job.  The new girl was frustrated, I could see that. She needed help, but there were a lot of customers in line and the other salesgirl was working the second register.  The third girl was fast on the register and she knew what she was doing, she just doesn't show compassion, especially during the busy and frustrating Christmas shopping season. I called a couple of days later to try to get the girl's name.  When I explained to the lady on the phone which employee served me, she said that it was probably her by the physical description I gave her.  Her name was Katie.  My receipt says "Jessica", but they were switching registers, so I'm not sure of her name.  I hope they can give better customer service training to their staff.  I gave a two because although the first girl was very helpful, and the new girl tried her best, it's the sassy one that left a bitter taste in my mouth. read more

I got cute rain boots and rain coats for my kids from here for our trip to Toronto. It was on sale and there were a lot of great mark downs for the apparel here. I grew up with Osh Kosh, Carter's reminds me of my childhood years. I'm glad to see that they're still making great style clothing for kids. Children's clothing shouldn't be ridiculously priced because they grow out of it so fast! So I'm glad this place isn't outrageous in price. read more

Everything shrinks by at least 1-2 sizes. I dropped $180 here two nights ago. Washed everything on cold and hung dry most of the items... my daughters dress shrunk to a shirt (cold water and hung dry!!). My sons overalls shrunk to capris. Ridiculous. Plan on buying 1-2 sizes up. They're supposed to wear these clothes for pictures TODAY. read more

So lately a lot of my posts are around the fact that my family and I recently moved from Riverside to Murrieta and we are still getting a feel for all of our favourite places to shop. I have two little princesses under the age of 3 and dressing them up everyday has become an obsession of mine. My hubby says I dress them up like they are baby dolls and he is right! Lol! So I use to have my two favourite Carters stores I would spend all of our money at because both locations have the same Store Manager and she runs well flowing retail stores. So since we are further away now I decided to give the closest one here in Temecula a chance. My first time in was right before the holidays and to my surprise they were well stocked still, nothing looked empty and their clearance section was super clean and maintained. We all know how clearance racks can look like the day after Thanksgiving 365 if the manager doesn't appropriately keep it cleaned up and merchandised. I have since come in to shop several other times and thankful I gave this team a shot because they are all warm and friendly and even help me locate items online when they are out of stock of something particular that I want and remind me shipments are free to their store to come pick up. Today I picked up a few items I had shipped and as usual the store looks great! I will continue to find all the latest and newest trends for my girls at this store! read more

This store is down right fabulous!!! Every time I come in to shop for my rapid growing baby boy I leave with a smile and give myself a pat on the back for gettimg such great deals for the best quality of clothes! Everytime I walk in, I am greeted and asked if I need assistance and I love that. The girls don't pester or lurk by breathing down your neck which is also a plus. When I go, I always come in and buy my clothes from Alana who is always giving me the best deals she can along with my coupons! Today, I also had the pleasure of having help from another associate named Nicole who helped me with a Coupon that I needed to download. This location is very clean and has a great selection of clothes for all ages up to 14 and their pricing is affordable with cute styles. However, their customer service is lacking. When you enter, most of the time they will greet you with a smile and seem welcoming and friendly. Until you reach the counter with a return/exchange. Their mood suddenly changes and they pressure you into shopping right then and there. Their return/exchange policy is simple. They make it seem like it's pressure and stress free. But when you actually do the transaction, they're not friendly. This happened to me twice at this location with two different staff members. So I won't be returning here or recommending to my family and friends. read more

They just have such amazing deals!! They have great clearance rack for 50%off plus an additional 20% off, they have crazy good door buster sales! And the outfits they carry for both boys and girls are just super cute! The staff here are super friendly!!! They try to help as much as they can, and even compliment your baby everytime!! The return policy here is amazing, and if you buy something and it goes on sale for cheaper... Guess what they price match for you. Superb! Ok I've shopped here for my LO about 5 separate times since it's opened. And yes while I must add the staff is friendly and helpful I've had two discrepancies with the charges on my items purchased. I almost always go sale shopping at Carter's. And I've had them ring up the same item twice as opposed to a each item individually(which racked up my total) and also I've had the sales price not ring up correctly on a pair of baby shoes. My advice to all you mommas is this check your receipt before you leave especially if the cashier seems super chatty while performing the transaction. This won't stop me from shopping at Carter's it will just make me be more aware of my purchases. read more

They offer curbside pickup on the website and their aren't any curbside signs in the parking lot. I was told by an associate it's up to the associate if they want to bring your merchandise to the parking lot or not.(if they are comfortable) One of the associates told me to park in a handicap parking spot to receive my merchandise since they didn't feel comfortable walking to the first parking spot in the parking lot. I informed her there wasn't any handicap spots Available and that's illegal if I don't have a handicap decal. The same associate told me to park on the curb which also say no parking and said she'll be right out. I asked would she be responsible for this ticket since she wants me to illegally park?...(curb say no parking) She told me no but she would be out pretty fast. It took her 4 minutes to bring my package out. Which if an officer was around would have been a ticket within mins... I spoke to the manager(suzann) and informed her of my concerns and how customer service is important and you all should consider this... Her concerns were her associates safety about crossing the street.... Yes your associates safely is important... however don't offer curbside if your having a safety issues with crossing the street. I walked into this store last week. When I first walked in I usually get greeted "welcome" or "hi can we help you find anything ?" Well , not today. As I walk to the back another person walks thru the door and I hear the girls at the counter yell "welcome!" So later, As I'm getting ready to checkout I'm standing near the two checkout counters for a couple mins. I don't see anyone but am waiting patiently to be helped. As I'm standing there I hear someone walk thru the door , and an associate ask "can I help you find anything?" The customer explains she has a store pickup. The associate (an older white blonde woman, I'm not sure if she is the manager or not) tells the customer she can ring her up at the counter. As the associate walks around the corner she asks me if I needed anything ? I said yes I'm waiting to checkout no one was up here. She says "ugh okay someone will be right with you." The customer who just walked in goes to the counter right in front of me and gets checked out. I'm not sure why the associate wouldn't ring me up and then take the customer who walked in after since I was already waiting a few mins? I'm not sure if it's because I'm brown or not; but it really pissed me off, especially because I always come here... I won't be back anymore. read more

Visited this store for the visit time. I was greeted immediately with a friendly smile. After walking around for 5 min, I was asked if I needed help. I didn't. When I did have a question there was enough coverage to find someone. I was helped quickly. This store is very organized and clean. The sales are great and I was able to use a coupon on top of that. I also noticed one of the sales gals knew almost all the customers who came in. They really do try to get to know you. Love stores that still go that extra mile for the customer. read more

I went into Carters in Temecula for the first time last week. I absolutely fell IN LOVE! The store was so clean and well put together. The energy of the employees was just wonderful. The moment I walked in the store they greeted me, but not in a "forced greet" kind of way. These women really do love their job! It was shown clearly. There was a girl named Bridget who was just astonishing; she truly was on her A-Game the whole time. She understood I had a newborn daughter and answered all of my millions of questions (as I am a new mom!) She gave me advice from experience and it really made my shopping trip easy!
